For Chronic Pain "I have noticed that manufacturers of percocet use different formulas in their pills. Some are just awful and merely provide a sedative effect with very little pain relief. The ones made by Alvogen (blue/scored) just knock me out and do nothing for the pain. The ones that work the best are the ones that are white, scored on one side and have the #512 on the other side (Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals?). Just 1/2 of those works better for pain than two of any other brands. Stay away from the blue scored ones! They are awful and do NOT help with pain. This opioid issue is merely fear mongering and those people who really need the pain relief are NOT getting the meds that they need because of it"

For Chronic Pain "Before surgery stayed in bed(neck) took two pills when I got home,what a relief!I can at lease walk around now I would recommend this to anyone in pain.DEA please stop making this pill so hard to get when people like myself really need them."

For Pain "June 2019 - My body hated it! My doctor prescribed Oxycodone-acetaminophen 5-325 (Percocet) for pain from bulging disc in my hips and thighs and back. The Tramadol I've been taking for osteo-arthritis and foot pain wasn't helping the hips, thighs and back pain. I took only 3 half-tablets in a 10 hour period and after the 3rd half-tab I started feeling horrible. Dizzy, restless to the point of not sleeping, feeling awful. When I did try to sleep I could not relax at all, and the really sad part is - the pain in my back, hips and thighs never went away so I was suffering from the drug and the pain. Not everyone is going to have bad side-effects but these were mine."

For Pain "Percocet 5/325 and 10/325 were the only things that allowed me any rest and relief when I had a pinched cervical nerve. I only had to take Percocet for 4 days and did just fine on Motrin and Tylenol after that severe period, but I don’t know what would have happened if I hadn’t stashed them from my c section in 2002!!! No doctor will write for them for fear of prison and it’s absolutely disgusting that people have to suffer as a result. I’m so glad I still have several in case God forbid I should ever need them again for severe unremitting pain."

For Chronic Pain "I have had 1 discectomy and laminectomy on my left S-1 & -2 discs. After surgery I was given the peach colored 7.5/325 and they did wonders. During Physical therapy I herniated my L-4 &-5 on the right. I have surgery in a few days. My neurosurgeon prescribed me 30 of the white generic 5mg/325 percs until my surgery day. These small white round generic 5mg Percocet are complete trash. Yeah, it might slightly ease my back pain for an hour or so but I personally believe that’s because my mind is concentrating on keeping my food down. Honestly, I’m a recovering addict and I came off my suboxone for surgery per doctors orders. You would think Percocet might subdue the withdrawal symptoms but I’m not even sure if did. I actually felt worse after I took the Percocet. I’m calling my doctor today and going back to hydrocodone or morphine if he will. I will NOT take another generic Percocet again."

For Chronic Pain "I have lower back pain due to stenosis/arthritis. Also, I have a birth defect in which c4 / 5 are fused. Arthritis (severe), in my left hip/knee. Toss in fibromyalgia, and the pain is almost intolerable. Before taking this med, my life had been confined to either sitting or lying down. Grocery shopping was out of the question, without the use of the motorized shopping carts. It was so bad, that I just thought, "Why am I still living, this is no life at all." After a few different pain meds, that failed to work, my doctor prescribed this med and it has been a wonder drug for me! Now, I can walk through stores PUSHING a cart! My Pain level has gone from 8, down to 2 or 3 using this. Please, keep it available to the people with severe pain!"

For Pain "Was prescribed percocet 7.5 right after surgery and that dosage worked just fine, six weeks after surgery, PM Dr. lowers dosage to 5-325 because he didn't want me on that dosage for an extended amount of time. Now there is very little relief. At 6 weeks post-OP; this dose is not strong enough to alleviate my pain. Maybe in another 3 to 4 weeks it will be, but not at the present."

For Chronic Pain "I have been prescribed 5/325 Percocet for spinal stenosis and a laminectomy surgery of L3,4&5 for nine years. My first prescription was a quality brand made by Amneal. After my Kmart pharmacy closed their doors I got to experience the horrors so many other people face. Bad medicine. I finally was able to identify the Amneal brand then came the humiliating task of finding a pharmacy that carried the Amneal in stock all the time. Finally my pharmacist at Walgreens advised he could special order the Amneal and everything has been good until a month ago. On my last refill I noticed a reduction in pain management and inspecting the pills, they are not imprinted clear numbers IP203 they are vague. The good ones were so hard you had to use a pill cutter and these actually crumble when you try to split one. I’m not sure what I’m going to do for my next refill. I wish everyone luck with your uphill battle with pain. I could say the same about anxiety drugs. Horrible variances"

For Chronic Pain "This Medication is so BAD it makes me sick, it doesn't help at all, with the pain, I throw up, and more side affects. WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE DOING THIS TO US?? Do they NOT think we are in pain. Have they ever been in PAIN like us?Walgreens [I go there also] I am not sure if it is there fault,I wish I new for sure just because people abuse these, now we have to suffer, the people that really need the real medication to help us get thru days of REAL pain. I could go on as well as all the people that are sufffering ,WHAT CAN WE DO???"

For Chronic Pain "This medication worked well until they changed brands. I was relieved when I read the comments on Camber pharmaceuticals. When Walgreens changed I said I would give it a try. Within several hours I could tell they were not going to work out. I started having withdrawal symptoms. But unlike some I only have to wait for 2 weeks before my next script. This brand Camber sucks. I hope Walgreens gets the point and change to someone else. At this time they have lost my business for that medication."

For Chronic Pain "I have had back pain for many years and percocet has helped but has grown weeker over the years. I've asked for a higher dose but no. The Dr are afraid of treating their patients according due to being put under the radar.. But I say! If you're treating the symptoms and the patient why do you have to worry?"

For Pain "T/192 white round pill I got at Walgreens is fake, fake, fake not the real oxycodone 5/325 - well it definitely doesn't work!!! I usually get my meds at Walmart and I've have never seen any meds like this."

For Pain "I have a primary brain tumor that has spanned the midline (Glioblastoma multiforme GBM4). My prognoses is I have just 6 months to live. I was prescribed Percocet 5/325 while in the hospital to recover from brain surgery about 1 month ago. I take (4) pills per day (2) at a time. Can I become addicted?"

For Pain "I'm 19 and have chronic TMJ joint pain and clicking. I get spouts of breakthrough pain that disables me from talking, eating, and other things that require mouth movements. I recently had the worst pain ever in my jaw and had to go to the ER. Was given Percocet 5/325 and it took away my pain COMPLETELY and helped tremendously. I've tried Vicodin in the past but didn't help my TMJ as much as Percocet does. "

For Pain "Percocet is the only medicine that gives me relief from chronic back pain, sciatica, trochanteric bursitis, fibromyalgia, and restless leg pain. I don't even waste my time on any over-the-counter medicines. Been using on and off for about ten years. I can quit anytime I want without any withdrawal symptoms. I'm very pleased with the way it works for me!"

For Pain "Had an elbow arthroscopy a month ago and was prescribed Percocet for the pain. I have to say I was severely disappointed that it didn’t do its job. Granted this could’ve been for many reasons (my body reaction, the procedure, the actual strength and dosing) but nonetheless it didn’t touch my pain whatsoever."

For Pain "When diagnosed with a kidney stone, I was prescribed Percocet 5/325 to manage the pain. A warning that if you don't keep ahead of the pain, it is hard to get back under control. I took a dose 2 hours late and it took 6 hours to get the pain reigned back in. Take it properly and it keeps the pain manageable."

For Chronic Pain "Works fairly well when taken around the clock 4 times a day. I take it to treat chronic pain caused by multiple bone spurs in my neck causing nerve compression and severe pain in my shoulder/arm/neck."

For Pain "My endodontist prescribed me this med before retreatment of root canal for pain relief. I liked it worked within 20 min, but it made me so drowsy it put me sleep and relieved the pain not more than 3 hours. The pain came back exactly after 3 hours but couldn't take it again right away because it would exceed daily max. I switched to ibuprofen 600mg next day and it worked as quickly as that med did, and the effect lasted about 5 hours and it didn't make me drowsy."

For Chronic Pain "My Doctor changed my medicine from hydcodone to this. Does not alleviate my pain. Makes me feel lightheaded a little for an hour. Cannot sleep, or get any relief from the pain. This medicine is supposed to be stronger then hydrocodone. I suspect there is very little oxycodone in these tablets, not 5 mg as stated. My daughter, who has access to a spectroanalyzer in her lab, is going to compare this medicine with similar brand. As for myself I can tell you, this is either one of those taper drugs, or just plain junk."

For Pain "Highly recommended! No side effects beside the slight dizziness that can be expected with any opiate (always make sure to take it with a bite of food!). Works great, but you'll have to taper off your dosage little by little so you don't experience withdrawal symptoms when you don't need it anymore."

For Pain "I been suffering with migraines for months now. I tried the over the counter meds none ever works. My doctor gave me migraines medicines still never works and I decide to go to the E.R. and they gave me Percocet 5/325 and it was great. It's a great pain killer ever."

For Chronic Pain "1st time taking them and I have severe RA for the better half of 60 years and I take 3 a day for as needed. My bones are now deformed and starting the curl up and I'm in constant pain but I try to go as long as I can without needed 2 take any thing but Motrin, but it is very hard to live with this pain, and still have to do your everyday life events. When I have a bad flare up I can't even walk or use a walker 2 get to the bathroom but anyways I do not think these are as strong as the other brands out there but when you are in the pain like I am most of the time any brand would help and any thing that can take the edge off is enough for me to be thankful. Please people quit abusing your meds and take as required by doc"

For Chronic Pain "I have been going too a pain clinic for 6 years was on norco 5/325 helped for a while till my body got use to it so dr switched me too perocet/oxycodone 5/325 been on It for 3 months as for pain been helping really good atleast for me and right now on scale one through ten it bring my pain from a 8 down too a 4 or 5 depends how bad I'm hurting ( have buldging L4&L5 disc in back and si joint problem alone with athritis and muscle spazams) that gets so bad that I can't stand for long periods or sit long nor can i lift a lot hevy stuff including my kids without hurting but since I been on this my pain ant pain free bits it's manigable so I would highly recomend it but if you have to take it make sure you eat first will make you feel nauseated"
