Spiriva had caused me to gain weight which I can not lose, anyone have an answer?

I took Spiriva a couple of years ago for 6 weeks and gained an unsightly 22 lbs, all on the midsection and nowhere else. After dieting off and on for the last 6 months I still cannot lose the weight. My midsection is all bulged out and I look terrible. Does anyone have an answer to my problem. Bill

August 2009, I was diagnosed with COPD and got SPIRIVA , after 3mnds, I had to stop cause eye-problems and acid reflux, made it impossible, to use it any longer! And it didn't work hardly at all!!!

Are there any adverse problems from stopping spiriva abruptly?
