MONITOR: The concomitant use of streptozocin and doxorubicin may prolong the elimination half-life of doxorubicin, and increase the risk of severe bone marrow suppression and hepatotoxicity.

MANAGEMENT: It is recommended to monitor patients for clinical and laboratory signs and symptoms of toxicity. The US manufacturer also suggests decreasing the dosage of doxorubicin.
