Tofranil is used in the treatment of pain; depression; primary nocturnal enuresis; interstitial cystitis and belongs to the drug class tricyclic antidepressants. FDA has not classified the drug for risk during pregnancy. Tofranil 10 mg is not subject to the Controlled Substances Act.
