Doxylamine is used in the treatment of insomnia; allergies; rhinorrhea; hay fever; conjunctivitis, allergic (and more), and belongs to the drug class miscellaneous anxiolytics, sedatives and hypnotics. There is no proven risk in humans during pregnancy. Doxylamine 25 mg is not subject to the Controlled Substances Act.
