benzoyl peroxide topical clascoterone topical

Applies to: Ethexderm (benzoyl peroxide topical) and clascoterone topical

GENERALLY AVOID: Clascoterone applied topically can cause local irritation such as erythema or redness, pruritus, scaling, and dryness. Concomitant use with other potentially irritating topical products (e.g., medicated or abrasive soaps and cleansers; soaps and cosmetics that have a strong drying effect; products with high concentrations of alcohol, astringents, spices, or lime; keratolytic or astringent topical agents) may result in excessive irritation and/or drying.

MANAGEMENT: Depending on circumstances (e.g., areas of application), concomitant use should be limited, and a rest period considered in between use of these products.
