Usual Adult Dose for Headache
For the relief of the symptom complex of tension (or muscle contraction) headache:
Acetaminophen 325 mg and butalbital 50 mg or acetaminophen 300 mg and butalbital 50 mg: 1 or 2 tablets or capsules orally every 4 hours.
Maximum daily dose: 6 doses
Acetaminophen 650 mg and butalbital 50 mg: 1 tablet or capsule orally every 4 hours.
Maximum daily dose: 6 doses

12 years and older:
