Vibegron may increase the risk of urinary retention, particularly in patients with bladder outlet obstruction and in those taking muscarinic antagonist medications to treat overactive bladder (OAB). It is recommended to monitor for signs and symptoms of urinary retention and discontinue the use of vibegron if a patient develops urinary retention.
