"The night I had my first and only injection, I had horrible night sweats. For the next week, my face has felt hot and I've been hotter than normal when sleeping. My menstrual cycle is also completely screwed up. I'm 37, not pregnant and am now dealing with what I would imagine hot flashes and night sweats to be and the erratic periods I had as a teenager. If I would have known the sides effects, I wouldn't have allowed my doctor to inject me with this drug. I can only hope this gets out of my system ASAP."

"I was diagnosed by my long time physician. After he prescribed it I began to have "flu-like" symptoms the next day and called him. He said to stop taking it because it may cause my immune system to not work well. Keep in mind I had never had a cold or the flu. 6 months ago I was given an injection containing Cortisone after plainly stating I was "allergic" to cortisone. Health problems have ensued and no one will listen to me!! When I questioned this doctor, he stated that only one percent of the population suffered any allergic reaction. So he just "rolled the dice" and I am suffering because of it............for the past six months."

"Worst drug EVER! I got the shot yesterday to help with a severe sinus infection I fought for 2 weeks. I expected jitters, BUT was never warned about dizziness; the muscles in each of my arms ache, I can't even put one arm above my shoulder; my throat is tight (I could still breathe, but swallowing was difficult). I woke up at 3 am with my chest having full convulsions--like upper body was on a paint shaker. Lasted 30 seconds. I almost went to the ER, BUT I knew they wouldn't be able to do anything. I called Dr this morning...and she said take some benadryl today & let them know tomorrow if it helped. I'm not sure what the course of action will be if it doesn't. I'm tempted to take some activated charcoal, but that will lessen the effects of my antibiotic; so i just don't know what to do. They said it's a slow release one so it'll be in my system for WEEKS! Weeks on benadryl is no way to live. I can't take the throat & chest tightness for weeks. So fingers crossed benadryl does the job."

"I have used it for almost 8 years. I take one almost every month for treating a chronic skin disease, but it is unfortunate that recently I have been experiencing frequent urination at night, loss of weight. Yet the skin rash keeps on coming on a monthly interval after administration. I have observed unstable blood sugar. I can say that it works effectively for just a month interval."

"Out of the blue, rash over half my body. Scared and primary care physician gave me an injection of Kenalog-40 in my hip. Leaving for vacation and within four days rash was gone. Never really knew the total cause."

"I have been suffering from chronic seasonal rhinitis for more than six years. I was taking every prescription antihistamine available from my GP. Fexofenadine 180 mg x 4 daily and Mometasone x 4 daily. I would sneeze a hundred times a day during really bad episodes. I called them nuclear days. Kenalog comes with a lot of warnings, but for me the need was greater than the risk. Kenalog changed my life. My mental health improved. I was able to go for a walk in sunlight whilst someone was mowing their lawn! I had a lot of anxiety about Kenalog. Not anymore. This drug changed my life."

"Life changing: I had one Kenalog injection every year for 8 years for hay fever. No side effects and zero hay fever. Before, I couldn't go near grass or animals. It literally made my life so much better."

"Was taken every 3 months by injection for allergies. Turns out it was a miracle for me....helped not only with allergies but my psoriasis and 75% of my osteo arthritis disappeared. Happy me! Only downside for me was easily marked skin if scratched."

"I have spring allergies. When I have a severe reaction and have exhausted all other remedies and nothing else works, this is the only relief I get. I have this injection once a year."
