For Constipation, Chronic "I am a 55 yr old woman and Zelnorm did wonders for me. I have had trouble since I was a teenager. Over the counter laxatives were so unpredictable and inconvenient for me. Zelnorm has helped me for 2 years and I have enough of them left from free samples and a 90 day supply that I will continue to take it for as long as I can. "

For Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Constipation "I have not been the same since this pill has been taken off the market. I swear they took it off as it works so well. Maybe if they would have charged more and they would have made more money they would have kept it on the maker. Sad really. I’m demanding to bring it back. Was the best drug ever"

For Constipation, Chronic "I wish they had not pulled this drug from the market. It was the only medicine that actually worked and worked well with no side effects. I have since tried Amitiza for my constipation and it made me so nauseous and sick I had to discontinue use. I'm miserable now without my Zelnorm."

For Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Constipation "I've tried this medicine 2x. The first pill gave me severe diarrhea and hour after just one dose. 3 episodes within a few hours. Second time, a week later, same result. never again. I tried what my doctor wanted me to do. But I cant tolerate it."

For Constipation, Chronic "I was 25 when I was finally diagnosed with IBS-C. I only took Zelnorm ONCE and i immediately felt better for a week. IT basically flushed my system out all at once and I never felt so good in my life. I didn't take it regularly only when I REALLY needed it. 2 pills did the trick."

For Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Constipation "Have both IBS and IC. Zelnorm stopped symptoms of both diseases. No adverse effects---none. On my brief drug induced IC remissions, the IBS was not present. A GE Conference in Munich in December 2008 had presentation that in a followup study on patients in control and test groups of the original study had a dozen Cardio-vascular deaths in the control and none in the test side. That's exactly OPPOSITE of what the original study asserted. It was also pointed out mistakes in assembling the original data---false positives and soft angina. My source was Cardiology Today. The Doctors presenting speculated why Zelnorm prevented Cardio problems. I saw study after study praising the results of the drug. 11 years of misery: imagine how I feel. It should not have been pulled. Leave it at that!"

For Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Constipation "I don’t have IBS, probably one of the reasons it didn’t work, I have Gastroparesis, low colon motility, I have a lot of paralysis throughout my GI track and we tried this medication hoping it would help but I got such severe acid reflux, I couldn’t keep any food down. It was constant heart burn and coughing. Probably not a symptom everyone has but it was unbearable for me. I also gained so much weight and I was so bloated."

For Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Constipation "Zelnorm is back on the market. I started it 2 days ago and I already feel 100% better! My GP prescribed it. It's no longer regulated and can be prescribed to add anyone under 65."

For Constipation, Chronic "Zelnorm was the first medicine in my life to work effectively since I was a teenager (I'm 68 now). It was so disappointing when it was pulled off the market. Nothing has helped me since."
