Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Wegovy on 05/01/23. I weighed 312 lbs and I'm only 5'8" tall. As of 01/01/24, I am down 80 lbs and still going. I've had no side effects and my plan is to lose 125 lbs. The shot is painless and easy to inject. I honestly feel like I lost a whole person. My A1C went from 6.4 to 5.2. I recommend Wegovy to anyone who needs to lose weight..."

Rybelsus (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I first took the 3mg dose for 30 days. I had no side effects, and it is really controlling my appetite. Now I am on 7mg. So far, my weight was 242. I have been on Rybelsus for about 4 months, and my weight now is 215. I'm hoping to lose more. No side effects, feel better, light food craving. I hope to stay on this for 4 more months. Thanks Rybelsus. Joe C."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I have been on Ozempic for 2.5 weeks now and I have lost 12 pounds. I don’t eat anything fried or greasy. I watch fat intake because this medicine can make you sick if you have too much fat in what you are eating. It can also make you sick if you overeat. If you eat small to moderate meals with light snacks in between, you will probably not have any problems. If you cannot stay away from fast food and greasy pizza, you will have a problem. I have found that this medicine makes me not as hungry. It takes the edge off. It also keeps me from craving junk. I get full at mealtime, eating less. I drink a lot of water too. I also use an app on my phone to log food, calories, and exercise. I weigh once a week. I hope this helps someone else that is considering this drug."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am finishing my 8th week on Wegovy. I have lost 17.1 pounds and feel amazing. I was afraid to start because of the side effects, but so far have been lucky and haven't had them. The best thing about Wegovy is the fact that my mind is no longer full of obsessive thoughts about food. I have lost weight a million times, but this is the first time I am aware that I am NOT thinking about food all the time. I eat really reasonable portions of food and am satisfied. No desire for extra food or snacks. It is absolutely a miracle."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am in my sixth week of Wegovy (4 weeks at .25 and now 2 at .5). I am a male in my early 50s, 5'9" with a lot of weight to lose — about 120 pounds. In the first month, I experienced no side effects apart from reduced appetite and lost 10 pounds. I had just begun dieting when I started — nothing extreme, just eliminating the worst offenders, sugar, not eating after 6pm and portion control. I have already lost 6 pounds this month. I have experienced some mild nausea this month on the .5 dose, nothing close to vomiting but definitely present, especially the two days after injection. Haven't had negative reactions to specific types of food like others have had until yesterday. Had some Korean BBQ and was burping garlic all night with some intestinal discomfort - so I guess that's a no go. I am considering holding at this dose before going up again. As long as the weight loss is happening at this rate, I am not keen to risk greater side effects."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Halfway through the 1.7mg dose. Been on for about 4.5 months. Have lost a total of 35 pounds. My weight loss has slowed down since on the 1.7 dose. Still losing but not as quickly as in the beginning. Have no real interest in food anymore. Sometimes have to eat when not hungry due to low blood sugar (had this prior to Wegovy use). Been trying to lose weight for months. Wegovy is the only thing to work for my obesity due to medical issues. Have noticed off and on fatigue, dizziness, constipation, stomach pain, gas, belching, and hair loss. Can no longer eat fried, greasy food without feeling sick, which is good. Now I want healthy food instead."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Took it for 8 weeks, made it thru the 2nd titrated dose and couldn't handle it anymore. Nausea, gas, bloat, constipation, diarrhea and it was worse at night while lying down. Never improved, but actually got worse by week 8. Not sure how anyone makes it to the full dose. Also did not drop a single pound. There were days I only consumed 600 calories and still felt awful. I read another review very similar and agree that you absolutely cannot eat anything spicy. Bland food days were better but there are not enough antacids and constipation meds in the world to make me want to lose 20 pounds this badly. Took my last dose 10 days ago and am still dealing with residual GI upset. Hope physicians are more forthcoming about the side effects and do not tell patients they happen but subside in a couple days - they do not."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I never had any weight issues until I turned 60. All the weight gain seemed to go right to my stomach. No matter what I did (including exercise and diet) nothing worked to diminish the belly fat. I started taking Ozempic at .25mg/week for 4 injections. I lost 15 pounds on that starter dosage. I increased to .5mg the following month and lost another 15 pounds. I will begin the 1mg dose this weekend for the next month. The Ozempic seemed to target that subcutaneous belly fat which is where I had the greatest weight loss. Except for a mild headache after the first dose and subsequent constipation, there were no other side effects. I took something to relieve constipation. My stomach is now almost as flat as a board and I don’t look pregnant. I know carrying all that excess subcutaneous fat is very dangerous and Ozempic melted that fat away. I would recommend keeping yourself very well hydrated and asking your doctor for a prescription to address the constipation. Truly amazing!"

Rybelsus (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "My doctor put me on Rybelsus in March/April 2020. I will admit the nausea was pretty bad for about the first month, but I stuck to it because it was really working well on my blood sugar. Since I started, I have lost 42 lbs! I have not been dieting, but I do have some outdoor projects that required physical labor, like shoveling dirt, clearing brush, moving stones, etc. The nausea only comes back when my sugar is low and I really need to eat. I don’t even get a growling stomach anymore. I would recommend Rybelsus to anyone looking to manage their blood sugar and lose some weight."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking Ozempic since 12/22. I was put on this injectable drug due to obesity, high cholesterol, and borderline high blood pressure plus pre-diabetic. I have lost 30 lbs. so far. I am more than pleased that my cholesterol is now 180 from 270 on medication. I have never been below 200 total cholesterol in my life! I have had no symptoms taking Ozempic except little indigestion the first month. It is very convenient to use (inject once a week), and the needle is so thin (less than a hair) you don’t even feel it. I had tried every diet, exercise, and fasting to lose weight and get my cholesterol under control. Ozempic is the only thing that has worked."

Rybelsus (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I was very frightened after reading the reviews. I am 52 and had gained from 130 pounds to 158 the most I have every weighed in my life. Stated the 3mg 3 weeks ago and have lost 10 pounds and no side effects other than occasional slight nausea. My appetite has decreased but for the better. I am walking 3 miles a day and eating very healthy. Stopped drinking soda now only flavored water. I consider this a miracle. Never lost weight this quickly. Happy as heck. Will continue the 3 mg and recheck A1C. So far this rocks. If it enables me to get in control of my eating and lose to a healthy weight to better my overall health then I call it a huge success. Love love love it!!!!!!!"

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I have tried them all! I was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 18, and I will be 40 this September. When I say I have tried them all, it’s no exaggeration, but my search stops here! This medicine has done in a couple of weeks what I have been trying to do all my adult life! My blood sugar is perfect! I actually look forward to testing my sugars throughout the day. The other day, I cheated and had a slice of caramel cheesecake. Normally, this would spike my blood sugars well over 250, but when I tested my sugar one hour after consumption, I was at 132! It only got lower as the night went on! This is some good stuff! I am so happy my doctor recommended this for me! I’m in love! I’m finally optimistic about my future with this dreadful disease."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "First, I wanted to say... I was TERRIFIED to start Wegovy because of all the negative reviews about side effects, but I convinced myself to focus on the positive reviews which outweighed the negative ones. I started Wegovy 3 weeks ago at 0.25 mg. I will be taking my 4th dose of 0.25 mg this week. I usually take it on Fridays around 9:30 pm so I can sleep off any side effects and then relax on the weekend. So far, I have experienced mild side effects on the second day after the first and second shot - nausea, light headache, a little dizziness, and dry mouth that lasted for maybe 1 to 2 hours. Side effects were manageable with Motrin/Tylenol and Pepto Bismol. I haven't had any major side effects. I weighed 210 when I started, and I weighed 199.5 this morning, so that's almost 11 pounds down in 3 weeks. I am happy I decided to not let the negative reviews discourage me from trying Wegovy. All I wanted to see was a weight under 200 pounds! I will start 0.5 mg in 2 weeks - will update again."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Been on Wegovy for half a week. For my first injection, I used the upper right side of my stomach. Within an hour, I had a bit of shooting pain in my left mid-back section. I was a bit concerned but didn't say anything to anyone about it as I figured it was just my body getting used to a new chemical. I'm now on day 3, and no pain anywhere, no nausea, and feeling pretty great. I am a little concerned about not understanding exactly what my caloric intake "should" be but will discuss it with a dietician. My dosage was the starter .25mg, and my starting weight is 228 lbs. Let the journey begin! Already got past one of the biggest hurdles namely doing the injections myself. The needle is super small, and didn't leave any marks or blood! Super fast, and recommend it to the "needle adverse" folks. I am very glad that it is only once a week though."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "My husband began taking Ozempic for his Type 2 diabetes several months ago and experienced minimal unpleasant side effects. His food consumption is down approximately 2/3 (no more 'first breakfast and second breakfast' and 'first dinner and second dinner') and he has been able to reduce his diabetes medications. He has been steadily losing excess weight. A bonus is the chronic loose stools he used to suffer have been eliminated. I started taking Ozempic for my Type 2 diabetes 6 weeks ago. My food consumption is down significantly and I've been able to discontinue all other diabetes medications. I've had some slight nausea and a mild bit of constipation, both of which have been easily alleviated through dietary changes (much smaller meals, more fiber and more spicy food). We absolutely love this medication."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I've been using Ozempic for 18 months. A1c has dropped from 8.1 to 6.0. Weight dropped from 195 lbs to 157 lbs. Minor side effects for the first two weeks. I dropped most of the weight within 4 months and my A1c went down to 6.3 in those 4 months. My doctor decided to take me off Ozempic after 6 months to see if I'd stabilized, but within 4 weeks, my A1c was back in the upper 7s. I'm staying on Ozempic for now. Great medication but a ridiculous price."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm on my 13th week @ 1mg now. I love it. Yes I was nauseated at first, but the quick weight loss results made me want to continue. At this dosage, I am not really hungry for food, and if I do feel hungry, it doesn't take much food for me to feel satisfied. I have really cut my portions and also use high fiber, high protein foods, constipation is real people. Laxatives help. I make good food choices now and am down 25lbs. I want to keep going but the coupon has run out, and now my out of pocket cost with insurance is around $900. I am so disappointed to have to stop and worried about gaining back or not losing anymore. Novo really needs to make this affordable. The price is ridiculous and millions of people are dying from comorbidities to obesity every day. I have high end insurance, and still cannot afford the copays."

Rybelsus (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "When I first started the 3mg of Rybelsus, the nausea for the first 3 weeks was nearly unbearable. However, like magic, around day 21, it stopped. I don’t feel as full as I did at the beginning now that I’m starting my second month of 7mg. However, I continue to lose weight with diet and exercise. If you’re struggling at the beginning - hold on for 30 days - it might pass like it did for me!"

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started off taking Ozempic then switched over to Wegovy. I only experienced mild side effects such as nausea and headaches in the beginning of starting these meds. This medication worked for me and helped me lose over 60 lbs. In the past, I have tried numerous diets, supplements, bariatric surgery, and programs to help me lose weight and all failed. This is the only medication that truly worked for me and I'm so glad that I was able to tolerate it. Life-changing experience for me."

Ozempic (semaglutide) "I suffer from bulimia and binge eating. It’s amazing the potential of this medication that should really be also looked at. I’m maybe 15 pounds overweight but the obsession I had with food was unreal. Just constantly thinking about it, hiding, overeating, controlling, and throwing up when overeating. I have no side effects on Ozempic at all. I mistakenly started at 1 mg because I didn’t know how to click. No nausea no other issues what’s so ever but know people that couldn’t tolerate it. Yes, I lost a little weight but mostly I stopped caring about snacks or carbs or sweets. I eat when tired and need energy or when it’s been long enough, I don’t go crazy when I see food. It's saved my mind so much. I just live now and do not have a million thoughts in my head about bingeing because it’s there or hiding so no one sees how much I can eat."

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Honestly, I have never been so sick in my life. 1st and only dose of wegovy made me so incredibly sick. I have been in the hospital twice for excessive dry heaving. There is no stopping the symptoms. I had short term relief with IV sedatives and anti nausea medications. Still a week later now at home throwing green bile. I will never recommend to anyone."

Ozempic (semaglutide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "My health wasn't good, so I fired the nurse practitioner I was seeing and got an internist doctor. Found out my thyroid was almost non-functional, high blood pressure, and my pre-diabetes rate was on a serious climb. 1 year later, I was at the right dose of Synthroid. Doctor put me on metformin and phentermine, and added Ozempic 2 weeks later at 0.25. That was a rough ride; I was nauseated and dizzy a lot! I started at 265 lbs, and every day I would see a pound or 2 come off. As of this morning, I weighed in at 239, and I'm up to 1 mg dose of Ozempic weekly. I take the anti-nausea now just before my Ozempic dose, and that's it. I use doTERRA ginger. A1C down to 5! I'm glad I listened to my doctor and my pharmacist and stuck with it. Anything worth having doesn't usually come easy! I would like to get down to the 160-170 range; I'm 5'11'', and thinner than that, I start to look like Olive Oyl! OH Popeye!"

Wegovy (semaglutide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was prescribed Wegovy for weight loss purposes. I'm 5'11 and 225 pounds with a BMI of 31%, so I can be considered obese. I've been on it for one week and have lost 7 pounds. I'm starting with the lowest dosage (.25). First of all, the injection was completely painless (for me). I also inject Humira bi-weekly, so maybe I'm just used to it, but I was shocked to feel absolutely nothing. I questioned if I was doing it right because it was so painless. Do not let some testimonials scare you! I did a lot of research while waiting for the drug to come back into stock. 90% of what I read were complaints about vomiting, diarrhea, and some people getting so sick they had to stop taking it. Some of these reviews were written after only a week or two of using the drug. So far, my personal experience has been completely different from what I've read. That could change as I increase the dosage. As of right now, the only side effect I'm experiencing is a complete lack of appetite."
