For Pneumococcal Disease Prophylaxis "Had this given 7 days ago. Initial pressure and pain with injection and a after injection pain rush but then ok. Not as sore as having Flu shot afterward. Piece of cake and glad to hope that I do not end up with Pneumonia as that was really not fun at all. In the hospital for two weeks and weak as a kitten. If you need it, get it."

For Pneumococcal Disease Prophylaxis "I’m a 64 year old. Got the Prevnar 13 injeciton last Friday. Felt fatigued on Saturday and Sunday. Nauseous on Monday and vomiting in the morning. My muscles and joints in my legs started to get painful on Monday. Wednesday and I can barely walk. Will be going to the doctor this morning. This is like a horror movie to me."

For Pneumococcal Disease Prophylaxis "Was hospitalized with COPD exacerbation and my Dr. advised me to take the Prevnar13 because pneumonia could be fatal for me so I did. That has been going on 5 years now. I still have a knot where the injection was given. Nobody around here wants to hear about this but my arm still swells up and gets hot. The pain (unbearable) goes from my elbow to my neck and cause extreme discomfort and I have to take 800 mg of Ibuprophen and 20 mg of flexerl 2 times a day for about 3 days and it subsides enough that I can function. And then I'm back to it. 5 years!"

For Pneumococcal Disease Prophylaxis "A little hesitant, but at 64, Doctor reminded me I should get this shot and another next year. Having persistent asthma I knew I should and had put it off for other shots like covid, shingles, flu. Doctor was pretty reassuring and experienced. Really I’ve only had a longer local reaction, so a little soreness in the shoulder for about 4 days, but not much worse than a flu shot TBH. A little more fatigued than normal but overall fine."

For Pneumococcal Disease Prophylaxis "I am 54 years old man and some 3 and half years ago started my pneumonia history. I got it first time in 2017 December. After that I had it time to time and in 2019 my doctor said me if I'll take Prevnar 13 vaccine. I was pleased and of course I took it in September 2019. But in March 2020 I got pneumonia again and I took Cortisone also, 5th time in 6 months. I had much problems from 2019 Autumn to March 2020 with lungs. (I have Asthma also) March 28th 2020 I was diagnosed having Covid-19 and of course it went to lungs because I just had pneumonia and gazillion cortisone courses. But luckily it was only problem with cough. After that I took Pneumovax 23 in September 2020, because I was reading that it would be good to buffer Prevnar13 and after that, I had Zero pneumonia and zero Covid-19."

For Pneumococcal Disease Prophylaxis "Received Prevnar 13 a week ago. Soreness, itchiness, redness, warmness, all felt on injection site up to this time. No clue when it will be gone. What a bad experience with this vaccine!"
