Rhopressa (netarsudil) for Glaucoma, Open Angle "Within one hour after my first dose of Rhopressa, my eye was red and I had a headache in the back part of my head. By next morning, the redness wasn’t gone and neither was the headache. Later in the evening, things got better. So I tried another dose and experienced the same reaction over again. I just called my doctor to report my side effects. I do NOT want another drop of Rhopressa."

Rhopressa (netarsudil) for Intraocular Hypertension "I was warned about the red stoner eyes that I'd have for about a month, but I didn't get that far. Within minutes after using the drops, I developed an allergic reaction - shortness of breath, cold tight feeling in my chest, nausea, eventually weakness. I was hospitalized for a day and a half. During that time, I used the drops a 2nd time, under medical observation, to see if that's what caused my symptoms. It was. It's been three days since the last use and I'm just now starting to feel less weak. I'd be curious to know if others had an allergic reaction. Aside from that, my vision became cloudy, eye runny, and that is still happening. Also eyes are still bloodshot and burning. The hospital refused to return the sample when I was discharged because it was too dangerous for me."

Rhopressa (netarsudil) for Intraocular Hypertension "I was diagnosed with ocular hypertension about 4 years ago. I kept it under control with Travatan-Z for about three years, and then the pressure started to creep up again. My doctor added Rhopressa to my regimen, and it has helped keep the pressure down (below 20). However, the Rhopressa has the unpleasant side effect of watery eyes, which gives me blurred vision - mainly when reading or at the computer. It also causes some eye irritation and redness. I've tried at least three other types of drops, but all have their drawbacks. For me, Travatan-Z has the least side effects, but doesn't seem to do the job anymore."

Rhopressa (netarsudil) for Glaucoma, Open Angle "No help at all. Eyes red and scratchy. Outrageously priced. Used the free samples and then told the pharmacy to cancel the script. Stick with Dorzolimide and Latanaprost. It is expensive too at $337.00 per dropper."

Rhopressa (netarsudil) for Glaucoma, Open Angle "Since using Rhopressa I have had a significant increase in migraine headaches from one or two a month to in the last month almost daily. I have become highly suspicious that it is the Rhopressa for a number of reasons. I will skip it for several nights and see what happens with the headaches. It has truly been a nightmare. In a lifetime living with migraines, now in my late 60’s I have never had anything like this ever occur before with my migraines."

Rhopressa (netarsudil) for Glaucoma, Open Angle "My Optomologist prescribed Rhopressa and asked that I visit in 6 weeks to see how it worked for me. The next day I awoke to bloodshot eyes. No other symptoms. I called and told him. His nurse advised that I continue. I did and the redness did not go away but subsided by noon. Fast forward 5 weeks later. My right eye felt like something was in it. A few days later it was so bad…dry and gritty. I told my doctor and he insisted that I continue using Rhopressa. I regret ever listening to him. It was a Friday night and my eye was so bad, it felt like someone was pouring sand in my eyes…I have never experienced pain as intense as that in my life. I stopped taking the Rhopressa on my own. The pain and redness went away but my eye is still feeling some residual effects. This was last week so I am praying to the Good LORD that I get back to my normal self. If you experience redness just throw that mess in the trash."
