"Stopped this drug after 4 days.......had nearly all the side effects as stated online.(Terrible) Take Amoxicillin instead..no side effects and worked for my H Pylori."

Protostat (metronidazole) "I had a bad experience with clarithromycin 500 even after the first dose. It affected my sense of taste and my breath had a metallic odor. Not sure I can tolerate these side effects much longer."

"Had no problems at all with this medication I was given 500mg for 10 days to rid h-Pylori. I believe thus far it's done the job. I'm on day 3 of being h-pylori free.. I'm hoping it stays this way."
