For Birth Control "This was the miracle BC for me. I tried everything on the market and due to me being skinny the other doses were just too high. I had NO side effects of this pill, I was put on it to help with migraines and ovarian cysts. It didn't the first year so my Dr put me on a 3 month dosage. ( I don't get my period for 3 months) and for 4 years its been working fantastic. No issues. Barely get my period. No side effects either. Maybe a little bit of crampyness but not nearly as bad as a normal one."

For Birth Control "This is my 4th month on this pill. My gyno switched me from Loestrin to this because I was having in between spotting and cramping. I am 43 and have been on some form of bc pill for a long time. It made me nauseous the first two months. Periods were much shorter and lighter but cramps were kind of bad. Now on my 4th month I had a day of spotting, no cramping, and that's it. No period at all. I ALWAYS have a period. So not sure if this is a good or bad thing."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for about 5 years now and I have to say it is amazing. One thing I will note is that before I first started using birth control I had very regular periods, I strictly went on the pill for extra protection when I went into college. After starting the pill my periods became less heavy, and they became some what irregular as the years went on. The first year on the pill I would have a very very light period each month BUT as the years went on I would get my period every 2-3 months. As of now this is the 5th month that I have not got my period, I am not pregnant but it is very odd to go this long without a period. Most woman would like that but I like knowing that I would get my period every month or so."

For Birth Control "Awful experience. NOT the same as loestrin 24 fe, which worked perfectly for me. This medication caused pains in my stomach, severe shoulder and back acne, bloating and cramps. My mood swings were crazy and I felt awful on this birth control. I gave it 3 months and it didn't regulate. I developed the worst acne I have ever had and it is painful."

For Birth Control "Absolutely horrible experience on this pill. I was previously on Loestrin and switched due to insurance purposes. This gave me HORRIBLE anxiety (no sleep, heart palpitations, shooting chest pain and numbing arm sensations). To the point I went and got an EKG due to concern - the anxiety symptoms significantly subsided once I was off the pill. Would not recommend"

For Birth Control "I've been on this birth control for 3 months: I haven't had a period, I've gained 10 lbs, my face is broke out, my hair is falling out, I have no sex drive, more frequent moods of depression, this is the worst and I'm getting off it ASAP"

For Birth Control "The good thing about this pill was that it basically reduced my period to a once-a-month light period that lasted a day and I didn't experience any cramping for the 10 months that I was on it. This was great because I have heavy, painful, irregular periods, and it was nice to not have to call in to work while on my period. I had to stop taking the pill because it was affecting my moods severely. I felt like I was always panicking about something, like my mind was constantly on overdrive and obsessing about any little issue that came up. I had to fight feeling sad and hopeless on a daily basis, and this was odd because it the events happening in my life were very good. I've been off the the for a about a month and I feel much better."

For Birth Control "I took minastrin for about a month and had EXTREMELY BAD side effects. I had horrible mood swings, I was anxious and most of all, super depressed. I’d go from okay to crazy in what felt like seconds. It was awful! It also made my breasts swell up about a full cup size."

For Birth Control "Started on Manestein 24 Fe to help balance out my cramping & the heavy bleeding during my periods. Which it did help. A week after I started my next new set I started to have the bad feeling in my upper stomach like I have been doing tons of sit ups non stop. So I thought I probably moved funny or something it'll go away. Well a couple days went along & it got worse. It bwcame more intense & sharpe stabbing pains & it extended into my back as well. I couldn't lay on my sides nor even when I drove in a vehicle any bump nor turn it hurt. I knew it was time to go to the hospital. When they checked me out they said I had a blood clot going to my liver which was cause by birth control. Becareful it might not be for you."

For Birth Control "My DR started me on this pill 2 months ago. I'm 22 and have never been sexually active. She started me on this pill because my PCOS made me not get a period in over a year. My period came back on week 3 of the pill, then continued for 2 weeks. It was very heavy and painful, but I guess that's what happens when you don't get one in 15 months. Things seem to be levelling out no in terms of side effects. The first 2 weeks, I was an emotional train-wreck, I've gained a bit of weight, but I'm also on some new meds for my diabetes, which could also be the cause. The only really bad side effect are that my breasts are really tender. Other than that, it's been great."

For Birth Control "This is truly the worst type of birth control. I have been on it for a year and a half and I have been to blind to notice the severity of the change in my behavior. I am angry, irritated, moody, depressed, and I have absolutely no sex drive. I feel as though I have only few emotions left in me, those being anger and other negative feelings. I started at the age of 16 and did not necessarily understand side effects of this pill. I am extremely irritated and angry and I am constantly in arguments with my boyfriend. I never used to be this way and it bothers me that I have been to blind to see the effects it has taken on me. I am currently still on this pill, but I am going to talk to my OBGYN to see how quickly I can switch to anything else."

For Birth Control "I took this for over 3 yrs (age 17 to almost 21) and wish I'd read reviews and realized what was happening to me sooner. I've always been a nervous person but my anxiety went through the roof on this pill. However, I blamed the anxiety on getting older and maybe the stress of school. In hindsight, it was definitely the pill. I changed from a happy, easygoing person to an emotional monster. I became easily infuriated and even hit my boyfriend out of rage (something I would NEVER normally do). I gained weight, had acne, and became unbelievably moody. Stopping this pill was the best decision and I only wish I'd never started. My advice is to not take this pill, but if you choose to, be aware of how your body is reacting. I wish I had sooner."

For Birth Control "I started a sample of this pill on 12/13/2015. In the beginning it was ok. A week later I started spotting & cramping like my period was coming. This went on for about a week. Now I'm extremely nauseous ALL THE TIME. I can barely eat. Plus I have no energy since starting this pill. I also became depressed for no apparent reason. & lets not talk about the migraines. It's safe to say they are now in the trash! I'll go back to the old fashion condom method of birth control."

For Birth Control "Everyone's body is different. I've have nothing but the best experience with his particular BC pill. I was on loestrine and was sad to find out it was discontinued. Happy to know that the name was the only thing that change (and the fact that it is now a chewable tablet) . Anyways , i love it !! My period become light within the first month. I did have horrible headaches for the first few weeks. I've been taking these for 6 years !!!! I stopped for about a 2 months and my period went back to being super heavy. I love the effects it has on my cycle, light and short only about 2-3days. I didn't experience mood swings or weight gain/loss. I regret not finding these sooner like when I was in highe school and experience painful cramping."

For Birth Control "My GYN prescribed this pill to help with my heavy periods. I HATE IT! I've been on it for almost 2 months, I take it at the exact same time everyday, and have never missed a dose. I have had the worse mood swings and have been bleeding for a whole month. I experienced what I would call a very heavy period (changing my pad every 45 min or wearing adult diapers) 2 times in one month and the cramps are horrible. I went in to to see my dr the second time I experienced the heavy bleeding and she said that this is normal for the first 3-4 months of taking this med. I wish that I had NEVER started this medication. My periods were heavy before the pill and now they are worse than before. At least before the pill I only bled 8 days out of the month."

For Birth Control "HATED IT! Was on Loestrin 24 Fe and had no issues, my doctor told me they discontinued it and they switched me to this because it was the most like it. I completely DISAGREE. Felt depressed, no energy, literally cried everyday for absolutely no reason and had no sex drive."

For Birth Control "I have been on many different forms of birth control and this has been the best. I'm 33 years of age and I've been on this a little over a year. At first I had experienced a heavy period on and off the first year but starting January 2016 it became lighter and lighter to now I dont have one. Ive taken the depo shot as well as other birth control pills and this tops them all. I have very bad acne but since on this birth control little to no breakouts at all. I love it!!!!!!"

For Birth Control "Minastrin has been great for me, I have had not side effects whatsoever. I agree with what others say, however, about periods disappearing. It was great when I was not sexually active but now that I am - it makes me nervous."

For Birth Control "I did not like this drug at all, had to switch over to it when Loestrin discontinued. My skin was the worst its ever been and I gained weight (I'd been on birth control for 8 years before this and never gained). Some months I would have severe hemorrhagic bleeding with clots and other months no period at all. I thought maybe because it was a chewable I wasn't getting the full dose of the drug so I started swallowing it whole but nothing changed. I have been off for 4 months and my periods now last 3 days and I have little to no cramping."

For Birth Control "i have been on minastrin for 3 months after switching from the nuva ring (big mistake) i am constantly bloated on this pill, which is the most frustrating part. I have gained 10 pounds and i work out 6 days a week and eat extremely clean. i am going off this pill for fear that this weight gain will continue (my friend gained 20 pounds!) i am often achy and have many nights of restless sleeping. i have suffered from depression in the past so that might have something to do with the occasional moodiness. overall, bc is different for everyone but I'm getting off this pill."

For Birth Control "I haven't been on birth control for a few years but I have used two different brands and this has got to be the worst one I've ever been on, I lasted all of two days. I read the side effects and reviews but wanted to try it out for myself and I will have to agree with all the negative reviews on the pill. My side effects were really bad nausea, mood swings and severe anxiety. I would go from wanting to cry, punch someone or total sadness in a matter of minutes. I know your body has to adjust but going through just two days of what I went through I decided to stop taking it, I would say try at your own risk!"

For Birth Control "I'm 17 and it was my first time on a birth control ever. It was awful! It made me have mood swings and I was always angry at the world. It made me suicidal. I took my anger out however I could and it ended up being on my boyfriend. We used to never fight and then we started to fight daily. I never had problems with my friends but I lost them all because of the monster I turned into. My boyfriend was fed up with how I treated him and it ruined our relationship. It took me until now to realize it was this awful birth control. I should have switched the moment I read all the awful reviews. I matched every single one of them and didn't notice until I lost everything. Stay away from Minastrin."

For Birth Control "My experience with Minastrin was extremely favorable. I was suffering from intense period symptoms-- overwhelmingly bad cramps that left me bedridden for at least 2 days, dizziness, uncomfortably heavy flow, irregularity, and periods that lasted up to 9 days. The first month of taking Minastrin was, admittedly, rough. I suffered some spotting and rather invasive mood swings. However, I have read that this is not common, and might be related to the intensity of my periods prior to taking Minastrin. Once I got used to having Minastrin in my body (it took about 4 months), my periods became extremely low-maintenance. I still suffer from mild cramping, but I now have regular and very, very light periods, thanks to Minastrin."

For Birth Control "I've always had extremely painful periods to the point where I would throw up from the pain. I decided to try birth control pills to see if it would help. So far on this pill I've had short, light periods with very minimal cramps. My acne has even cleared up a great deal. So far so good."

For Birth Control "Omg...this is just some bullcrap. I was on minastrin before I got pregnant and the periods weren't really heavy but I cramped really bad. So I decided after the baby I would go back on it until my paragard comes in. Whelp, I get back on it, keep in mind I'm already facing post partum depression. I have every symptom listed. I can't believe it would make me suicidal but yes...it does. I stopped taking it because I couldn't stand the spotting...well of course that turned into a heavy period. Then 2 weeks later I got another full period. So I went without birth control for another month which wasn't cool. So I decided at the start of my current period I would start back taking it. And here I am...spotting after my period, and I have blood clots."
