For Birth Control "I'm 14 years old and I've been on it for 4 months and I hate it. I'm on it for regular periods since my blood flows too quickly and it has done nothing. I've been on my period for 4 months, light mostly but heavy sometimes. I also went on it for my acne but it did nothing. I gained 4 pounds and now I have stubborn belly fat. I also have huge stretch marks (idk if its related but they showed up when I took it). Also, I have no motivation anymore. Don't take this please!"

For Birth Control "I have been on this birth control for two weeks. I had a Mirena IUD for 3 years, and I had it removed because I had low sex drive, pain from ovarian cysts, and I was getting frequent migraines. I was switched to Seasonique generic, Ashlyna, but it made me very nauseous and VERY hungry. I gained about 6 pounds in the first week. Since then, I was switched to Gildess and I am back down 6 pounds and feeling better. The only thing I noticed is that I did develop a large boil on my chin for the first few days, and I am unusually tired. I have spotted for about 10 days, and my breasts are a little sore maybe swollen. I have to be on birth control because I have severe endometriosis that has been removed twice. Anyone have a similar experience?"

For Birth Control "We moved to a new air base and the horrible doctors here refuse to let me have my Minastrin 24 Fe that I was on for TWO YEARS. Those two years were spent on cloud 9 compared to the 7 months on this garbage. On Minastrin I lost 45 pounds, clear skin like never before, good sex drive, not an emotional hurricane, and never got car sick. In 7 months alone on gildess I gained 25 pounds and counting(even with a healthy lifestyle), suffering depression and anxiety, NO sex drive, periods are HORRID, face has exploded more than going through puberty and I am 21, and taking this makes me sick. It's a good thing my husband and I don't want a baby because with the weight gain, break outs and no sex drive-it won't happen while taking this trash pill."

For Birth Control "I have racked my brain trying to remember the name of this birth control. Sad it is discontinued. My favorite out of five brands I have tried. Made me lose 5lbs/mo without changing anything in my life style, i never got pregnant and I never had acne."

For Birth Control "I was prescribed Gildess after being diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome to help control my hormones. After about 2 weeks, my migraines started to increase in frequency and severity. Several calls to my OB, and I was advised to continue to take the med for at least 3 months. A month and a half into taking the medication, I woke one night with sharp pain while breathing and in my right shoulder. I thought I pulled something or bruised a rib, so I kind of just rested and relaxed for the weekend with no real relief. Monday morning rolls around and I started to have pain radiate from my right shoulder across my chest towards the left, so I went to the ER. Lo and behold, I ended up with Bilateral pulmonary embolisms!"

For Menstrual Disorders "I had my period three times the first month, two on the second and two times again on the third. While this BC did not make me gain weight, I don't believe it helped with my acne much. I called my dr after the third month and she switched me to something different... just hope this won't be as bad as this pill... expect to be on your period the whole three first months, really.."

For Birth Control "If I could give this birth control a 0 I would. I have been taking it for about 5 months and I've been on my period probably half of those 5 months. Please tell me what is the point in even being on birth control if you are bleeding all the time. No one wants to have sex when your bleeding ever single day. Also this month I havnt gotten a period, thanks birth control. Also, I've been so bloated all the time & get sick if I don't take my pill with food."

For Birth Control "As a first-time BC user, I feel Gildess is a good choice. Almost a year on it, no babies, and the only major issue is the few but annoying breakouts. Getting used to it was an emotional adventure but no major weight gain and my libido has even increased! I would take this pill over any non-combination pill and feel very lucky that starting with it was not too bad. Everyone's body is different but this is a good pill if it is a suitable match for you."

For Birth Control "The first six months of using Gildess were unremarkable. It was effective in preventing pregnancy, did not worsen nor produce acne, and I did not experience any remarkable weight gain. It was like any other birth control. After my first six months, however, I experienced spotting, heavier bleeding, and random periods throughout the month. In one month, I experienced two periods. For the past few months, my periods started after two weeks of active pills."

For Birth Control "I had to stop taking Gildess when my insurance changed, but for a review: I took Gildess for over two years, I've never had any issues. Yes I gained some weight, then I lost it. Yes my acne fluctuated.. this relates to stress levels as well. Overall it did a great job keeping me child free and I had no issues with it at all. Fingers crossed my new BC is just as good."

For Birth Control "I switched to this pill because I switched pharmacies and the new one didn't have my usual pills. After starting this my cramps became intense, my periods became so heavy and my libido decreased significantly but I haven't gotten pregnant while using it. So I would say it's very effective but the side effects are not cool"

For Birth Control "I have been on various birth controls for the past 15 years and this was my worst experience. I was off bc for 3 years due to trying to conceive, pregnancy, and then nursing. I wanted to start on the pill again after my daughter weaned. I have only taken it for one month and I can't remember any other pill having such extreme side effects. I immediately got a yeast infection, broke out worse than when I was a teenager, have been exhausted but unable to sleep at night, no sex drive, and extreme mood swings. It has been a horrible experience."

For Birth Control "So I've been taking this pill for 2 months and I'm torn. First off, I haven't gained any weight and I'm not pregnant which is good. The cons are my moods are heightened. I'm way more emotional and get annoyed/mad a lot easier and this started right away. My period lasted for a whole week last time and although it wasn't heavy I still had cramps. Also, when I'm on my period I get nauseous and I'm not sure if that's from the birth control or just me being on my period. My boobs have grown which is another pro, but my acne has actually gotten worse. If my acne doesn't clear up by the third month I think I'm going to switch because I really want clear skin... I had mild side effects- increase appetite, some cramps and mild nausea."

For Birth Control "Been on this birth control for about almost 2 years. At first yes I felt different but that's every birth control. It takes time to adjust to your body. Any doctor will tell you to wait 3 months or so and see how you feel before switching. Anyway, I feel fine now, my periods are regular and I don't have terrible cramps. My boobs grew and that's about it. Stress I've always had and anxiety I've always had, I don't think it's linked to birth control in anyway."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for about 6 months and the first 3 or 4 months I was using the 28 day pack. A couple months ago my pharmacy switched me to the 21 day pack and ever since I have been getting my period on the second week of pills. This "period" lasts up until I start my next pill pack. I suppose I can be thankful that I'm not pregnant but if you're considering taking this pill to help regulate your cycle like I did, definitely do another brand."

For Birth Control "I've been on this pill for 4 months and so has my sister. My sister loves it and has no problems with it. However for me, I have symptoms of PCOS so I don't get my period every month so I started taking this pill. I didn't get a single period while on this pill, just brown discharge for 2 weeks straight every month. It was annoying and my periods were more normal and better before I started taking this so that was pretty weird. Requested a new birth control and hopefully it works !"

For Birth Control "Gildess has been awesome for me. I've always had heavy periods that lasted at least 7-9 days. When I started Gildess my periods have become light-normal and only last 3-4 days. I get break outs every now and then like I always have so Gildess hasn't helped or made my acne worse. Overall I have no complaints."

For Birth Control "So I have been on gildess for exactly a year now and it is the first BC pill I have ever been on and it's pretty great the only side effects I have noticed but haven't really though to much about are that recently every little thing is starting to bother me, I get upset or sad for almost no real reason and I don't feel like myself most of the time which is sad I am usually a very happy calm person but I feel like I'm not like that anymore. Other than that I don't have any other side effects at all it's pretty great it regulated my period and I have no random spotting or pain of any kind so I don't recoment it as the best form of BC but it's not the worst one and works very well for preventing pregnancy."

For Birth Control "Like every birth control, my body had to get adjusted to it. At first, I would have irregular periods: some months no period, and some months two periods. After awhile, I barely have periods now. I still have some moodiness on my "off pills," but I always have moodiness, around my period whether I am on or off birth control. With birth control, it just helps to schedule it, so I go on my "off pills" on a friday, so the worst emotional part can occur over the weekend and this helps me not to be emotional while I'm at work or school. By the time Monday comes, I have levelled off a lot. I haven't experienced acne breakouts from it, which is a bonus. Since it has iron in it, I have had my iron levels checked while on it, and they are always good."

For Birth Control "I have been on this pill for about 5 months now. I switched to this after having problems with depo, which caused me horrible migraines that actually put me in the hospital. Since I've started this pill, I've had nothing but problems with constant bleeding. The strength of the pill has been changed higher a few times. After sex, I bleed, going to the bathroom, I bleed. I absolutely hate it. I've also been very irritable, but mostly because I'm tired of bleeding. And I feel dizzy all the time, and feel out of body. I rather gain a ton of weight on the depo, and deal with migraines again, than deal with what I'm going through on gildess."

For Birth Control "I had been taking this medication for 1 year and I noticed decreased libido and fluttering veins which made me stop taking it. Also breast swelling but the most worrisome was the repeated daily fluttering of my veins. I could literally see my skin vibrating."

For Birth Control "As I had only started 6 days ago I expected this to be a more easy going time, read all the labels, making sure everything was alright. Durring most if not all of those 6 days I became very dreary, tired, and deadlike not wanting to do anything. The pill slightly helped my acne, but did not prevent new acne from coming. Durring the pill I experienced weird heat and then ice like needle feelings around my ovaries, but that was only for thr first 2 days. As I proceeded with the pill when I sat or walked, not while I was laying down I would experience this sharp pain around my heart, I was thinking it could be high blood pressure I checked it isnt, im worried it might be a blood clot so I need go check for now I am going off the pill."

For Birth Control "If I could rate this a zero I would! Ever since taking gildess I've been bleeding. It's been about 3 weeks now and not just spotting either... I'm miserable. My cramps are so bad and my acne is ridiculous I've never broken out this bad before."

For Birth Control "I started taking this pill two years ago and a few months after I started it I wanted out. I noticed I was gaining weight very fast and was breaking out with acne on my back. I tried everything for the weight gain figuring it might have been eating habits and the fact that I'm in my 20s now and my body is changing but nothing helped!! I gained about 20 pounds in the past 2 years and have finally had enough and made my gyno switch me to something else (she also insisted it was my eating habits and not the pill numerous times which is why I stayed on it for so long) my friend was also on the same pill for years and gained even more than I did."
