Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I am only 16 and have taken this pill for 3 months and am FINALLY switching. While on the active (white pills) my periods lasted 13 days which is more than twice as long as they lasted before going onto the pill. I experienced severe spotting throughout every single pack as well as horrible cramping and mood swings.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I'm 28 and have been on Loestrin 24 for 6 months and I'm getting off it. I expected some side effects with Birth Control but I can't take this. I get CRAZY mood swings, I've gained weight and I've lost my sex drive. Also, I haven't had a period in 6 months, not even spotting. Been on Yaz and Ortho before and can't remember side effects being like this.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: My experience with Microgestin FE 1/20 has not been as horrible as the majority of the posts. I was switched from Yasmin, to Tri-Sprintec, to Microgestin FE 1/20 because of yeast infections. This pill has lessened the yeast infections, but sometimes I have reoccurences. I've been extremely irritable and emotional at times on this pill, but my period (which used to be heavy) has become much lighter.
I would really give this pill a 7.5, but there isn't an option for that.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I'm 21 years old and have been on this birth control for almost a year now and I absolutely love it. No weight gain, no headaches, no acne, no side effects really except I no longer have a period at all. Just to be cautious I take a pregnancy test every month, but so far there hasn't been a need for it. My sex drive is the same and hasn't changed at all. The pills are easy to swallow. I would never switch birth controls!

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I'm very frustrated - I'm 39 and it's the first time I've ever been on birth control. I started taking it the end of July, and I am still bleeding (very lightly) almost all month long. I'm about ready to quit. I feel like I've tried it long enough. I'm totally frustrated with the whole thing!

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) : This pill was okay at first then about 6 weeks into it I noticed the nausea, and stomach cramping continuing no matter what I ate. Then vomiting started so much that it dampened my quality of life. I couldn't go out to eat or anything. I had to stop it.

Loestrin 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: Loved this! I took three weeks and then started a new pack so I never had a period. Loved that! Since it is so low in estrogen, I was able to do that. Took for 10+ years but got off as I got close to 40 years old. Recommended it to all of my friends and everyone who switched over loved it.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I love this! This is my first form of birth control and I have only been on it for about two and a half weeks, but I have to say that, so far, its great. I usuallly get terrible cramps, pains, nausea, etc. on my period; when I started using this on the first day of my period this month, it all went away. This was my first time NOT throwing up during my period, and I stopped getting those terrible cramps. Even my bloating went away. Plus, for some reason, since I started using this b.c., my occasional pimples have disappeared and stopped showing up. It's all really great and I feel so much better after taking this!! The only problem (though it's really not a big deal) is that I may have put on a pound since I started using it.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: Before getting on Microgestin Fe 1/20, I was on Yasmin. I never had any problems with Yasmin, although my period was slightly heavier than desirable. I have been on Microgestin now for four months and literally go through 2 full period cycles in a row each month. It is awful and inconvenient. My doctor actually put me on the pill because of the reports of shorter periods. I know that all bodies react differently, but be cautious of this problem, if you do not want to chance it. I have also experienced severe mood swings, but I cannot discredit it regarding actual birth control. Just remember to take it at the same time, daily.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I took this medicine for about 9 months for perimenopausal symptoms and birth control since I am still fertile in late 40s. This took about 3 months to acclimate to.... Had the mood swings and nausea and headaches in the first couple of months. Then it worked quite well and actually improved my sleep which wasn't doing so well pre birth control. However the biggest factor making me discontinue use of this drug was a big raise in my blood pressure! I am a non smoker and a bit overweight but have always had very low blood pressure. After 8-9 months on this my blood pressure was high. I've been off this a few weeks and top reading on my blood pressure has dropped into 140s from the 160s I was peaking at. Still, I've always had 110 or so before taking Loestrin 24.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I just finished taking my first pack after switching off Yasmin. Yasmin gave me migraine 4-7 days a week which was awful! My doctor switched me to this pill, and so far I haven't had any bad side effects that I can tell. Plus I don't get the horrible headaches anymore! I think my hair has gotten a bit thinner, but that might have been from the Yasmin (hopefully). I haven't noticed any breast size enlargement, but with my B cups, I can't say I wouldn't mind a little growth! haha. On this pill, so far so good. Also I thought I should mention that my doctor recommended to not take the iron placebos every day as it can be constipating. She said just take an iron pill (the brown reminder pills) maybe once or twice during bleeding.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I find myself sleeping alot, feeling depressed, I have for sure gained weight, and the worst of it all would be MOOD SWINGS.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I took this pill for just over two weeks. I had never been on the pill before - I always did the depo shot so this was a whole new experience at 36 years old! I was prepared for side effects and the first week of use I had some headaches, slight nausea and pretty strong cramping. The second week brought on crazy mood swings and that is actually what made me stop. I've been off the pill for 5 days now and slowly feel like I am myself again. I would have had no problem hanging in there with the other side effects, but I became someone I didn't like (or my husband and friends) for that last week on the pill. I had no patience for anyone or anything, I was angry at everything.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Endometriosis: In 2007 I started with Loestrin 24, it worked for about almost two years in controlling the endometriosis pain. Then suddenly the pain came back very strong and I ultimately needed surgical Laporoscopy. I spotted the entire time on Loestrin. Currently looking for another drug to prevent the endometriosis from coming back.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I would have given this a higher rating, as I used to love this pill. I went through 3 months in the beginning of irregular periods which I knew would happen, and once that was over these worked beautifully. No mood changes, no weight changes, regulated my period for months, and now I've been on it for a year? maybe? and for the past 2 months I've had my normal period, and then ANOTHER period 2 weeks into the new pack of pills. In 2 months I had 4 periods. Then the next month it was regulated and now AGAIN, 2 weeks into the pill I am spotting AGAIN. This is ridiculous.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I have been on Loestrin 24 Fe for almost 4 years. It was my favorite out of all the birth controls I tried until this year. I am 5'6-5'7 and have always been about 125-130 pounds. I am now about 150-160 pounds, I skipped a period two months ago, got this months period late. I am not pregnant. I will randomly feel sick and depressed. I have lost my sex drive and my boobs will hurt. I have extreme cramps and find myself experiencing tons of mood swings. I think it is time to switch to something else.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I'm in the beginning of month two on Loestrin. I've always had crazy periods, so my body is still adjusting.
I've had spotting the last week or so and my period just started before it was supposed to, but I think it's because I haven't been taking the pill at EXACTLY the same time everyday.
I'll quit taking it for a few days to let my period run its course, then will start again and hopefully keep things under control.
So far I have had no weight gain, no moodyness/anxiety, no crazy acne or anything. I have had minor cramps here and there but that's about it! I'll leave another review in a month or two!

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I started taking this birth control on September 1st and it's now October 14th. The first month I took it, I had my period for about 3 weeks straight, but it was light. When it came time that I would normally have gotten my period (which would have been at the end of the month), the bleeding went completely away after that time had passed that my actual period would have went away. Since then it's be fine, my face cleared up a lot and I'm maintaining a good weight too. I just got my period today, and it's very very light and hardly any cramps. Hopefully it only lasts 2-3 days!

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: After only taking this medicine for 9 days, I've already decided to discontinue use. My side effects are as follows:
1. mood swings/depression/anxiety: None of these were present before I began taking the pill. I cry for no reason, and have a constant feeling of deep, deep worry. I have begun questioning everyone's motives, and feel hopeless.
2. Constant Sleeping: Before the pill, I would have to force myself to go to bed by 10, to be able to fall asleep by 11. I am exhausted by 8pm now, and generally crash by 9.
3. Cramps: stabbing pains, like with a period.
4. Breast tenderness
5. Pain during intercourse
6. Acne
7. Severe nausea
I am stopping this now and getting my life back.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: Only took it for 14 days before side effects caused me to discontinue. Started having horrible headaches, insomnia, some night sweats, nervousness, gas/nausea/diarrhea. Never had this cluster of problems simultaneously until I began this medication 2 weeks ago. I don't plan on using any other hormone for birth control.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I started this birth control about a month ago after bleeding non-stop for four months (have PCOS) and it stopped my bleeding immediately, however in about the second week I began having mild cramps and spotting brown. I missed the last pill of my third week and took it the next morning - and bam, there was the heavy bleeding again. The bleeding and clotting is awful. If the bleeding doesn't stop after I start my new pack, I think I'm going to switch.
As for other side effects, none!

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) : I've been on this pill for 7 months. I'd been having hormonal issues so I thought a pill with less estrogen in it would help. Perhaps I am allergic to this pill. It upsets my stomach. The last few months it has been like I have diarrhea. After every meal I have an urgent need to use the restroom. My period has been unpredictable, heavy at first, then it lightened. One month I didn't get one. Now it's average in length but my back aches & I feel tired. I break out twice a month with mild acne. I have a 3-4 day window where I feel like having sex & my body will respond. Other times I want to have sex, but I am dry and my body is slow to respond. I am moody, easy to cry & anger. My boobs itch, I get bloated and I'm losing hair like crazy!

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I've been on Microgestin Fe 1/20 now for a little over 2 years. I haven't gotten my period since I started taking it. My doctors don't know why but don't seem to be too alarmed. I noticed I am emotional and I have the urge to cry about the SILLIEST of things. I don't think it has made me gain weight, if so no more than 5 pounds.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I have been on the pill for 3 months now. It did reduce my periods to almost nothing. I have always been really skinny and wore a size 1. After the first month and a half I had gained almost 20 pounds. My clothes don't fit anymore and I'm very uncomfortable with my body. My acne has become bad. I get deep like cysts on my face that don't go away. I went to the dermatologist a month ago and have been prescribed a ton of medications for my acne but nothing is working. I never had acne before this pill. I just stopped taking the pill yesterday.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I've been on this medication to regulate my period and the mood swings are really bad. I feel so angry all the time. They should add this to the side effects list on the box. Hopefully this will work for my situation.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I started taking this pill on a Sunday, by Tuesday I was bleeding heavily and it was constant. I continued to bleed for 3 straight weeks and I finally had enough so I stopped taking it. I had terrible cramps on this pill.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I started the pill two weeks ago, since day two I have not stopped bleeding and minor cramping. I'm hoping that it will stop bleeding as my body starts to adjust. Other than that I get a little more sensitive to anxiety and stressful situation. My main concern was gaining weight, and other then feeling a little bloated from having my period for the last two weeks, I have not gained any weight. My sex drive is still in full gear.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: Less than a month of taking the pill I have had serious mood swings (lashing in anger, extreme depression) and bad bleeding. Boobs got bigger however. Good for some, not for others.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I got switched to it because with the birth control I was taking my periods were irregular. Both of the months that I was on this I had two full periods, one in week 3 and one in week 4. I had mood swings and I was emotional the whole time I was on it. And the worst part is that I've weighed the same thing for the past 10 years, and after being on this for 2 months I gained 10 pounds and after 2 and a half months of not being on any birth control I still have it. Two months was way too long for me.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: I started taking this medication 25 days ago on the 17th day I already had a period, which I hadn't had one in 4 months. I noticed I've lost a few pounds, but I don't know if that has anything to do with the pill or not. I feel better, and my acne is not so bad now. The only problem is that it says you will have shorter, lighter periods. Well I am on the 8th day of my period and it hasn't been so light. Hopefully this is only my body's response to not having a period for so long, and it won't always be this long.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I'm 15 and using this birth control to regulate my period. This is the first pill I've been on and I've been taking it for 5 days only. It gave me serious side effects and an allergic reaction. I have a red rash on my face, severe stomach pains and vomiting.

Ortho-Novum 7/7/7 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I was on this medicine for 5 years until I had to switch because I was producing too much estrogen. During the time I was on it, I had a decrease in bleeding and I lost 5 pounds. During the time I was on it was my only use of contraceptive and I have never been pregnant. All of my friends are on it and they love it!

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) : I was put on Loestrin because I have never had a normal period in my life. I would have light periods that would last for 3 weeks or so with only a week in between or occasionally very heavy periods with three weeks in between. I am 18 and this is my third month on the pill. I have had no mood swings or break through bleeding whatsoever and my periods are only three days, however, they are incredibly heavy. I am trying to figure out if a constant light period or a three day period where I consistently worry about bleeding everywhere is better.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: I just wanted to say that I love this birth control. Besides helping me with my cysts it has given zero side effects. I tried Yaz before this one and I felt like a monster! It gave me horrible mood swings, migraines and I gained weight! Will never get off this Loestrin Fe 24. Remember that everyone's body reacts differently to the hormones in these contraceptives! Try it out before you decide for one, if you get a side effect move on to a new one! Oh and one thing, with this pill I had break through bleeding the first month only and you MUST be very specific with the timing with this pill and I get my period for 2 days only (which is also a plus).

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: This is my first pack of Microgestin Fe 1/20. I asked two of my coworkers if they liked being on this pill and they said it was okay. Unfortunately, I get headaches like crazy. I'm finding that for every pill I take, I also take an Advil! The only positive thing from this pill is that its making my breasts grow (I'm on the smaller side). My breast do hurt and are tender all the time. Not sure if I want to continue this pill because the headaches are really interrupting my life style. Not to mention, I get super moody. I tell people not to take it personally, that it's my hormones. Definitely, more negative than positive.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I have been on this pill for two years. The first couple months I had a lot of nausea and sickness. For the rest of the time, I would either have two periods a month, every other week, but they were fairly light, or go months at a time with no bleeding at all. I'm switching to a different pill now just because I need a generic form and there isn't one yet for Loestrin 24

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: This is my first month taking the pill. I have been off birth control for the past 9 years. I have been experiencing heavy bleeding, really bad cramps and periods lasting more than 10 days. My doctor prescribed this. I take it at night time before I go to bed and so far no complaints. My period started last Thursday and I start the pill on Sunday. On Tuesday my period was gone. I will update you in a few months.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I've never had any problems with the length or intensity of my period but on this pill I felt sick all the time, dizzy, anxious, moody and tired. My skin broke out and I had hot flushes. Every 3 days I had cramps and my breasts were tender. I've been running 4-8 miles a day and still gained weight. This pill made me feel like I was pregnant all over again. Not a good choice of pill for me!

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I just started this pill and so far I've noticed that I have been very moody and my period has become much heavier so far. The moodiness has really affected me and my boyfriend because I start fights over the dumbest things. I'm going to give this a few months and if nothing changes I'm going to have to switch.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: Secondary Amenorrhea - I was put on this medication because I lost my period due to intense athletic training. It brought back my period and I did not experience any strange side effects. I was worried about weight gain but I believe that pill had no effect on my weight. In the time that I was taking it I actually became more lean (but this may have been due to my training). I also noticed a more stable mood and a better control of my blood sugar levels. In addition, my doctor has told me that studies show that athletes with amenorrhea who go on the pill have a reduced risk for low bone density later in life (although the ideal situation is to get your period back naturally). Overall I was satisfied with this medication.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Endometriosis: My doctor had me continuously take Loestrin 24 to stop having my period altogether (I have endometriosis), which was great! I was doing well but then I started to feel weird after a while and had gained weight so as an experiment I stopped. I went right back to intensely painful and heavy periods so now I am going right back on it.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I am 19, And weigh approximately 112-117 lbs. Doctor changed from Microgestion FE 1.5/30 to 1/20 because of weight loss experienced due to diet change (can't eat well in the GA summer heat >.>) Anyway. I began spotting on day 2 and by day 5, I was having a period, I decided to wait another week before calling my doctor, and the bleeding was consistent with a "normal" period. I believe it was too light for me. I was also a bit emotional. Crying jags over the silliest of things. Did not improve acne. Hope this helps.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: It was alright at first, but after my first pack I started having two periods a month that lasted for about 8 days so I stopped taking it.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I used Loestrin for about 6 months. I switched from Yaz because although Yaz promised a shorter period, I actually had it for about 8 days. With loestrin, I only had my period for 2 days - major plus. However, as time went on, I noticed that I would get stomach aches and the main issue was loss of sex drive. It took a while to realize that this was caused by Loestrin but just keep in mind that this is a side effect.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I have been on this pill for approximately 6 months now and I am pleased with it. It is the first pill that I have experienced and I am not pregnant yet thank goodness. I definitely do get a lot moodier when it's close to the end of my pack and I do occasionally have break through bleeding about half way through my pack but so far it has been fine. I will continue to use this until I get any other problems.

Femcon Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Endometriosis: This medication worked really well for a while to control breakthrough bleeding and regulate my periods. I recently started to bleed irregularly and experience more serious cramping. I just found out that my endometriosis has advanced and I have been upgraded to Nortrel 1/35. I'll try that for a while to see if that will help me while I am awaiting hysterectomy.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: It caused severe bleeding and blood clots. I did not have any side effects of blood clots before I took this birth control. I missed so much work due to this pill, I went off cold turkey.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I have been on this pill for 2 weeks. I took the 2nd day (pill) 15 minutes late, but since then I've had my period. So I've had my period for 2 weeks straight now. Plus I get cramps and am moody all the time.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) : I'm fifteen and my doctor prescribed this for me because I have no health insurance and am unable to afford to take the proper tests to figure out the thing that is wrong with me. So far it's been okay. I'm on my second month and I have experienced spotting in the first month but I was also on antibiotics so I don't know if it's from that or not. Overall I really like this pill, it made me start my period on time and although I had painful cramping it only lasted for 4 days and was a lot lighter then usual. I'm not using this as a birth control so I can't say if it's a good contraceptive.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: I started the pill after being diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome when I was 18. My doctor put me on Yasmin. I gained a lot of weight and my cup size went from barely C to D/almost DD. I switched to Loestrin 24 FE to make my breast "normal" size again. It worked, and I went back to my normal weight, too. The first month I was spotty and moody; the pill timing is sensitive. But since then, everything has been smooth. I have a light period (only about 3 days) with minor cramps every month which sure beats the inconsistent, week-long ones with heavy bleeding and paralyzing cramps that resulted from PCOS. Overall, after almost 3 years, Loestrin has worked great for me and made my menstrual cycle a breeze. As long as you are consistent, it should work fine.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) : My doctor put me on this medication to try and control my mood swings. I started taking this birth control for one week and I felt extremely irritable on day five. I felt like I gained five lbs., but didn't actually weigh myself, and I was working out more. I got a migraine headache, which I've never had in my life. I stopped taking this birth control after day seven. It is not worth it to me. There are too many side effects from this medication.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Acne: I just started taking this birth control a week and a half ago. So far, so good. I have noticed a profound difference in my acne. Most blackheads are gone. Also, my breasts are bigger, which is never a bad thing.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: Wow. It sure did the job. No pregnancies because I lost my sex drive and became dry. I don't do any drugs nor smoke. And I had mood swings that were insane. Once, I got to the point were I couldn't go to sleep at night and went through my boyfriend's phone and accused him of cheating. So just please beware and if others are noticing symptoms, I hope they speak out because I didn't come to terms with it until I reached a scary point.

Loestrin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) : The pill worked very well. I had been taking it for three months and never got pregnant. I have always had headaches just not that often as I do now. I have had them for 3 weeks straight and only one of those days I did not have a headache. Now looking up this info on the pill I believe this is what is causing them. My headaches have got worse over the last three months.

Necon 1/35 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I used the pill for three weeks. On the first day of the fourth week I noticed vaginal bleeding similar to spotting. A bit nervous because I haven't had sex during this period and and positive I'm not pregnant.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I have tried many different kinds of birth control pills during my search to find the right one. This one wasn't the right one for me. I constantly felt nauseous and developed urinary tract infections and yeast infections, strange discharges and odors. I didn't have those problems on the other pills. Also I would experience randomly on this pill the loss of my sex drive. For the people who know me, that's nothing like me. That side effect scared me and was the last straw that pushed me to switch.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: My doctor put me on this medicine for dysmenorrhea. I LOVE this birth control pill. I have NEVER had any bad side effects from it, no acne, no mood swings. I only have light bleeding/no bleeding and cramping when I do have my periods, which only last 2-4 days. But the best part, NO WEIGHT GAIN. I have actually lost 30lbs since I have been on it. I really love this pill and would not go to any other birth control pill.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I have been on Loestrin 24 FE for four months now. It was prescribed to me after I finished breast feeding. For the most part I liked the pill until I started having my period twice a month and it lasts for a week, on top of that I get very, very irritable right before they start. I occasionally get dizzy spells.

Loestrin 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: This is my first time on any birth control, it was wonderful. Too bad it's so expensive even with insurance - that would be the one down side.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I was on this pill after I finished breast feeding, and I had lots of problems with break-through bleeding, every month. I was on Lo Ovral for 9 years prior to having a baby and didn't experience the problems I have with Loestrin.

Microgestin 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: The first two months were not fun but than it got better. I have been on it for almost 3 years and I'm very happy with it. My periods are regular and I have had no mood swings, cramps, or migraines. I love it. Only thing is it is expensive and my insurance only covers 10 percent but it's worth it because it works so well.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I was put on Leostrin 24 FE to help regulate my period but to also control the bleeding. I was put on this a year ago, and it worked great, then 7 months ago, I would and would not get my period. I talked to my doctor about the problem she said it was normal. I recently started getting my period twice a month.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I LOVE THIS BIRTH CONTROL PILL. Before birth control pills I would have horrible periods. Heavy bleeding, painful cramps, period would last for months, vomiting, etc. On this I had only a 4 day period! Light bleeding and the cramps were better but still hurt. I would definitely recommend this for women to try.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I've been using Loestrin 24 for about 4 months now and I like it a lot. It completely took away my period(YAY)! I do sometimes get in really bad moods for no reason at all and I sometimes feel like I am gaining weight. However I do really like it and will continue to use it.

Ovcon 35 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Endometriosis: I think this has to be the best product. I've been dealing with problems from endometriosis since I was 12. Abnormal cycles, painful abdomen, bowel problems, etc. I had laser surgery to remove the endometriosis in July last year and afterward was placed on Ovcon 35 continuous. I had a small amount of breakthrough bleeding and pain for about a month after starting treatment. It's great now. I'm hoping to avoid further surgery for quite a bit of time.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I have been taking these pills for a few months now. I have been experiencing major sweating issues. I sweat through most of my clothes and experience "hot flash" type feeling through out the day. I did like that this pill has made my periods extremely light and they only last for about 2 days. That is nice but I am not sure if I can deal with the excessive sweating.

Femcon Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I started taking Femcon Fe when I was 18 and took it for 4 years. Within the first year, I gained 20 lbs that I could never lose. My weight would fluctuate by 10 pounds every month and around the time of my period I would have horrible bloating. It did make my periods very regular, short, and light and lessened the severity of my cramps. It also cleared up my skin. My doctor has just switched me to a birth control pill with a lower dose of estrogen after having a baby, to see if the weight gain issues go away.

Nortrel 0.5/35 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Acne: The doctor recommended Nortrel. She told me to give it about a month to start working. I have been using this for a week and my skin is so clear and glowing again. It may be working fast because I don't have bad skin. It's great.

Ortho-Novum 1/35 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I loved this birth control pill! I knew what day I would get my period and even what time. Every other birth control pill I would constantly spot and with this one I didn't. The one draw back about this pill is every month when starting a new pack, I would be very nauseous for about 3-4 days(usually just in the morning).

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: My doctor prescribed me this pill because I have been diagnosed with PCOS. Sometimes I get stomach aches and it makes my boobs hurt, but other than that, no mood swings, and I've actually lost weight. Although everyone's bodies are different, I'd recommend this pill to anyone thinking of going on birth control for the first time.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I had a baby about a year ago and started taking this pill in October of this year. The first month was fine, had a period but it only lasted about 3 days (happy with that). I didnt gain any weight, in fact I lost a few lbs. I was never moody and never really had any side effects but then I got to the second month and I hardly had a period at all. There was about a day of spotting and then that was it so of course I panicked that I was pregnant. I'm not saying Loestrin was bad, but I'd rather have the assurance that when I start my period then I know I'm not pregnant.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I'm into my second pack and am not pregnant (which is good) but I'm very nauseous, queasy, dizzy and lightheaded. Also, I'm experiencing anxiety and nervousness. I think if these symptoms continue after pack 3 I'll need to switch.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I've been using Loestrin 24 FE for almost a year and couldn't be happier with it. I'm 18 and it's the first pill I've tried, so I guess I got lucky with it.
I experienced no side-effects, even during the first pack. The main objective is always not to get pregnant, and obviously it's doing the job it should in that respect. However, it also completely eliminated my periods. I'll get a small amount of bleeding every few months (maybe half a day's worth of spotting), but that's all.
The only downside is that it's expensive but worth it.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I've been on Loestrin 24 FE for 5 months. I had a few bothersome side effects and a few side effects that weren't so bothersome. In the second month I developed this weird anxiety and had this constant sense of nervousness. I would also have very brief moments of dizziness. For example, if I turned my head too fast I'd feel a flash of dizziness. For nearly 4 months my breasts were sore, but I could deal with that. I spotted for the first month, but I could deal with that, too. I never had any nausea, weight gain, acne, hair loss, or skin discoloration. Now that I've gotten over the side effects I'm pretty pleased and wouldn't want to switch.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I have been taking Loestrin 24Fe for 13 months now and I have no complaints. It is the first birth control that I have tried. After 3 months of taking the pill, it completely ended my period. I was a little nervous about it, but my doctor assured me that not having a period was normal (especially if you were light before) and that it would not effect my ability to have children later. Also, the pill took away all of my acne which is always a plus!

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I am 18 years old and have been using Loestrin 24 Fe for 9 and a half months now. I haven't gotten pregnant but the side effects I experience always make me think that I am pregnant. It's been this long so I guess it's working.

Microgestin 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I absolutely adore microgestin, now that I've been on it for three and a half months. The first two months were brutal. In the second week I had horrible uterine cramping and terrible cramping during my period also. The first month also, until I got used to it, it did give me mood swings, but did not make me depressed. Once I was on it for a few months, however, all of this went away. Right now I have mild breast tenderness but honestly it isn't bad at all and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Ovcon 35 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I was given Ovcon 4 years ago because of abnormal irregular bleeding. I decided to try this before a hysterectomy. I had no other problems and was near menopause age. I did not want to have surgery when everything was healthy. It worked great for me with little or no side effects. I am now 52 and got through this because of Ovcon without the surgery.

WORKS WELL ENOUGH FOR ME AND WITH REGULAR CHECK-UPS WITH MY GYN, I'M GLAD WE'VE MADE THE DECISION WITH LOESTRIN 24 FE.

Loestrin 24 Fe (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Birth Control: I'm 28 yrs. old. I've been pregnant and delivered without complication. I have used birth control in the past but not for over 7 years. I just finished my 1st pack of Loestrin 24 FE, I try to take it after 7pm. I spotted twice and had a very light period for 3 days. I'm into pack 2, not pregnant (MY GOAL) and I feel fine.

Microgestin 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol/norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: Stopped my periods all together. It is nice, but my doctor didn't mention it when she prescribed it. Was a little stressful the first month when you skip your period and no one has an explanation. Turns out it is a side effect.
