Prefest (estradiol / norgestimate) for Postmenopausal Symptoms "I have been taking Prefest for over twenty years with no ill effects. It stopped my hot flashes and night sweats immediately, allowing me to sleep in comfort and go through menopause without going crazy. The 30-day pill pack is easy to use, and the two compounds are low-dose, bio-identical hormones. I have had no problems with tender breasts as I did when my doctor briefly switched me to Premarin. My only problem now is that insurance doesn't cover Prefest, and it appears, sadly, that it is no longer available. I wish I could get more."
