Blistex Lip Balm (emollients) "Two days ago I purchased a Blistex tube called orange mango blast. It smells great however has caused my lips to swell and burn. Normally I use the mint Blistex and never experience anything like this. Medicinal ingredients are different. Is that the cause of the swelling?"

CeraVe (emollients) "I used the moisturizing cream on my face because of my very dry skin. After using for 3 days, I developed a reaction with red bumps and itching. Use of the cream on my legs and arms did not cause a reaction. It is too strong for the face."

Cetaphil Cream (emollients) "I have been using this product for 15 years. I always loved how it stopped my rosacea problem. Now since the product has changed within 3 days of use my skin has become sensitive to something in the new cream. It’s like it burnt my skin. No way I can continue to use this product. So sad."

CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser (emollients) "I used this product for about 2 weeks, eventually stopped because I experienced more redness of the skin and what seemed like breakouts, that was inflamed. I decided to try it back a few days ago, thinking maybe it gets bad before it gets good, again the same issues. Really thought this product was best for my skin, since it's made up of mostly everything to use for dry or dehydrated skin."

CeraVe (emollients) "I saw a dermatologist twice this spring for swelling and hives that I thought might be due to sun sensitivity. I changed up my routine to avoid the sun completely and stopped using anything at all on my face. All was well until I tried adding Cerave back in three days ago. I used the Hydrating Facial Cleanser on my face in the shower, rinsed well, and then applied the Daytime Facial Moisturizer. That was in the morning, and by bedtime my face was ablaze with the same itchy hives and burning that I had mis-attributed to the sun before. I washed my face with water, applied cortisone cream, and took two Benadryl. Even still, when I awoke the following morning my eyes were nearly swollen shut and my cheeks were thick with edema. I repeated the shower-cortisone-Benadryl and it's getting better, but it will take several more days for all of the swelling and redness to abate. I wouldn't give this stuff to my worst enemy so these bottles are going into the box for household hazardous waste."

Blistex Lip Balm (emollients) "I ran out of my Carmex and I was at the store. I picked up Blistex strawberry lemonade chapstick on Tuesday. I used it and I woke up in the middle of the night with tingly, burning of my lips. When I looked in the mirror, my lips were so red and swollen! It's been 4 days and they're still burning, tingling, and swollen! Don't buy it! And if you have it, throw it away!"

Cetaphil Cleanser (emollients) "I had severe swelling of the nasal passages, skin at edge of nostril cracking and eventually bleeding and severe sinus issues. It took me almost 8 months to determine what was causing my severe nasal issues, and I eventually discovered it was caused by cetaphil cleanser. Within 4 days of non use all of my condition began to clear up. I will never use it again."

CeraVe Facial Moisturizing (emollients) "I've been hearing about CeraVe for a long time and decided to switch my face moisturizer. After 2 weeks my face started to sting. I figured I would give it some time because I was introducing something new to my body but it continued for over a month until I finally had to stop. The stinging continued for 2 weeks after I discontinued use. I had to switch back to my old moisturizer. I was really hoping CeraVe would work but I guess one of the ingredients was too strong."

EpiCeram (emollients) "I have been suffering pain/irritation/distraction where my eyeglasses touch my face for over a decade. Since I also have very severe dry eye syndrome, so my treatments have always focused on my eyes, out of desperation, I tried to treat my skin conditions instead since last year and tried different skin creams, including those with steroids, then came to Epiceram in May 2017. I have been using Epiceram since May, and my conditions have been improving every day, even though very slowly, understandably considering how bad and long my conditions are. I test my improvements by put my eyeglasses on and feel the level of pain and irritation under the nosepads, and Finally, yesterday, I began to wear glasses again...Amazing stuff"

Neutrogena Soap (emollients) "This was my first time using this product. It was given to me as a complimentary soap at the Hampton Inn I recently stayed at. I like many others have broken out in a rash (contact dermatitis ), I also ended up with Allergic conjunctivitis in my eyes(basically the same thing as pink eye but it is caused by an allergic reaction)"

CeraVe Facial Moisturizing (emollients) "I have heard amazing things about this product, but my face however did not like it. This product broke me out in hives, and scared my face. I have splotches of red marks and dry skin. My face looks like a cat scratched it all up. When I touch the area it burns. Most of the burn like scratches are under my eyes cheeks and nose."

CeraVe (emollients) "I bought CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion because it said it was developed by dermatologists. I only used once and noticed it was very difficult to spread on face. Later that day, I noticed that my cheeks and chin felt very rough like sandpaper and had thousands of tiny bumps. I've never experienced anything like this. I immediately washed my face but it has been a week and my skin is still in same condition. If dermatologists developed this, it must have been to get new patients."

Eucerin (emollients) "I used Eucerin Christmas Eve for the first time and again on Christmas day for dry skin on my hands. Both hands turned red, swelled up terribly, became hot to the touch, and itched badly, and I got weird bumps on the back of my hands around my wrists and up toward my forearms. I threw the bottle away. I am still experiencing the symptoms, but they are becoming milder on the 3rd day."

EpiCeram (emollients) "I have had outbreaks on the palms and between fingers over the past five years. It was painful and my skin would get quite raw at times. I tried over the counter creams and a cortisone cream prescribed by a dermatologist but nothing seemed to help. I started using the Epiceram cream prescribed by the same dermatologist and it took several days before I began to see results, but I can say that my hands are in better shape than they have been in years now. I am still cautious, using gloves when cleaning or washing dishes but I think that, although it has been a very slow, gradual process, there has been a significant improvement."

Blistex Lip Balm (emollients) "I bought this same lip balm Blistex Orange Mango Blast and my lips swelled up and now they are bumpy, scaly and burning!!! I have been putting plain vaseline on my lips because they are so dry and chapped, I believe it was this lip balm because I have had no other problems before using this product!!!"

Eucerin (emollients) "I have had an itchy bumpy rash on my left arm from muscle area to wrist and my right upper thigh just above my knee area for 2 years! When I first used Eurcerin Skin Repair, I got immediate relief from the itching! It's taken 3 months of daily application. The bumps have all but disappeared. The itch has all but gone away. It's been astounding!"

EpiCeram (emollients) "I have SEVERE contact dermatitis (CD) on my hands, and they had been dry - so dry that making a fist caused my fingers to split and bleed. CeraVe was suggested at first, but then I was prescribed Epiceram. The lotion worked well on the less severe areas, and I have had some healing after four weeks of use. However, my finger tips and two entire fingers have not improved at all. I believe this is because my condition is too severe for the lotion to do its job. For mild eczema or CD, I'm sure this will work - it does provide some relief. For me, however, it has not worked 100% - so it's getting a "middle of the road" rating."

Blistex Lip Balm (emollients) "I applied raspberry lemonade blistex and my lips started burning and within a few hours I developed blisters under my lip and my lips were swollen. I must be allergic to an ingredient in this type of blistex because the plain liquid type has never caused a reaction."

Neutrogena Soap (emollients) "Used this Neutrogena French milled soap in a Hampton Inn. Next morning. I was swollen and red. Didn’t think too much about it but second day it was twice as bad. Ended up at a walk in clinic because it was the weekend. Injection, cortisone creme and 6 days of steroids. Never itched so much in my life.so glad I only washed my face. Hilton needs to pull this soap"

Eucerin (emollients) "I used this on my hands tonight for the first time ever. Within five minutes I had intense itching, redness, swelling and bumps. I had to wash my hands twice and rinse them under cold water. The itching has subsided but my hands are still swollen, red, and have bumps. I threw the rest away, never again."

Cetaphil Cleanser (emollients) "My eye is swollen with little red bumps. I used Cetaphil Cleanser on my face and eyes it is good stuff to use but my eyes started burning, my face was ok the next day but my eyes are really bad which isn't cool. It feels like somebody has punch me in the eye."
