Clomid (clomiphene) for Ovulation Induction "I took clomid last January from day 1-5 of on period to induce ovulation because I have pcos therefore my periods are irregular and don't think I ovulate normally. I got pregnant the next month, unfortunely I lost my baby in May of 2016, I was about 18 weeks. So in June I got a period but kind of long one, not too sure if it was a normal period anyway, after 36 days I had another period which was on june, in July I had my period on the 25th which seems to me like a period so I took clomid again I the first day through the 29th so five day starting from day one of my period, not like day 2-3 like some do. I follow the calendar and it predicted that I will be ovulate around the 3-8th of August, I had intercouse on those day, I'm pregnant 16th"

Clomid (clomiphene) for Female Infertility "I'm on day 4 of taking the 50 mg clomiphene I have one more day to take it then I gotta have sex on the days my ob wrote down. For a week I've been getting migraines and I've been emotional crying over things I didn't think I'd be crying over and I've been getting really hot lately. Can someone please tell me if these are side effects from the medicine or if it is a possibility I could be pregnant. I'm 19 years old me and my fiance been trying to get pregnant for over a year and had no luck and in 2019 I was pregnant with twins and had vanishing twin syndrome and a miscarriage at ten weeks I'm really hoping this medicine works for us and that I can have a healthy pregnancy"

Clomid (clomiphene) for Female Infertility "I’ve been trying on and off to get pregnant for about 18 years gone through extensive test diagnosed with PCOS and only thing they told me to do was lose weight. I tried keto and lost weight, then life happened and fell of the keto train then moved to Texas and doctor gave me 3 cycles of 50mg Clomid. I’m on my first cycle right after last pill I had a headache for 3 days straight and I took at night to avoid the symptoms but got bloating still. I tracked ovulation with OPKs and ovulated on cycle day 20 used pressed and I’ve been taking prenatal. Fingers crossed"

Clomid (clomiphene) for Female Infertility "I was diagnosed with PCOS a year ago. I had started trying to get pregnant two years ago after I'd stopped my Depo use (I was taking this for 9 years-not recommended) I had my first son at 21 with no problems. Once my Dr. diagnosed me, he tried me on 2000mg a day of metformin since I'm insulin resistant. That did nothing but make me sick everyday. I couldn't even eat. I'm a much slimmer person. He gave me 50mg of Clomid to take for 5 days. Since I hadn't had a cycle on my own since I stopped Depo, the Clomid completely showed signs of promising progress. I went to have an ultrasound a week after I finished the Clomid and I not only had one but 2-3 follicles that were maturing and one very close to ovulation. I pray it works."

Clomid (clomiphene) for Oligospermia "Well, I was actually being treated for secondary hypogonadism. Clomid worked like a charm. The first 4 days I could seriously feel my testicals growing and it felt like pressure, which sort of caused me to feel aroused all day...strange but sort of pleasant. I also felt happy and young again, like I did when I was younger.. super positive...just all around great. Then after around 5 days, the super positive effect wore off, not a bad deal, just sort of a bummer, then I started to get lightheaded sort of having balance issues. Not so bad I couldn't drive or anything, but uncomfortable for sure. So I called my doc (endocrinologist) and he said it would be okay if I reduced my dose from 25mg/day to 12.5 mg/day (quarter tab). Just got worse."

Clomid (clomiphene) for Ovulation Induction "On my 3rd month of clomid. (Last one) I am REALLY hoping this would be the month. I only noticed 2 significant side effects from 2 months taking it: I get so bloated for like 3-4 days around ovulation time plus very emotional. I cried a lot. Good luck to us!! Hope we all have success stories to tell."

Clomid (clomiphene) for Female Infertility "I have one healthy son age 3.75 years. Husband and I were trying from March 2020. Saw my Obgyn in late August 2020 who monitored my ovulation for three months by looking at day 21 progesterone. I was ovulating but not always strong enough to support pregnancy. I started on 50 mg clomid in December 2020 and upped it to 75mg the following month. Received my BFP in March 2021 but sadly that ended as a missed miscarriage in April 2021. I am pleased to report that I waited one cycle after the D&C and then had one natural cycle before taking clomid at 75mg again in June and I’ve just received my second BFP! This little pill does work like magic! I am over the moon with excitement as I’m going to be 40 next month so time is ticking. Preying this little one is a strong and successful pregnancy. Baby dust to all."

Clomid (clomiphene) for Female Infertility "I am 25 years old and I have been trying to conceive since I was 21. We had a couple of scares but we were also smoking and drinking allot. We broke up because it was not only toxic but there was no hope in having the family we wanted and I thought it was his fault. Fast forward a year later he now has a son with someone and I realized it was me. After talking to my doctor I was prescribed clomid 100mg. I am now engaged and we are hoping to start a family very soon. I will keep you all updated on my success if any."

Clomid (clomiphene) for Female Infertility "My fiancé and I have been trying to conceive for four years. We are both 26 years old. Last year I was rushed into emergency surgery because I had cancerous cysts on my right ovary and cysts that had burst. After the procedure was done my doctor told me that my left ovary didn't work. It wasn't producing anything. So, he told me that that cancerous cysts were probably the cause of why we hadn't gotten pregnant yet and if in a year we still weren't pregnant to come back in. Well, one year went by and nothing. So, he prescribed me clomid and told me to take it day 1 of my period for 5 days. I am currently on day 4/5 and have had no serious side affects besides a minor headache that goes away with tylenol. I am so excited to see if this works!"

Clomid (clomiphene) for Ovulation Induction "Hey guys. I have been reading all of the comments on here. Some have a positive outcome and some not so good. I started my first round of clomid yesterday. I am 38 years old and have one child already age 5. My husband and I have been TTC for the past 1.5 years with no luck. I went to see a fertility dr and he started me on clomid. He stated that my egg count was low. So hopefully this will give me the boost I need."

Clomid (clomiphene) for Ovulation Induction "I’m 39 and a mother to a 2 yr old healthy boy; thanks to Clomid. I was 22 when I began to try to conceive the natural way. Had 2 early miscarriages; in 2005 and in 2008 from previous partner. Met my husband in 2016 and Started to show signs of anovluation. My MD prescribed clomid at 100 mg. Boom ! Pregnant on 2nd try. I feel having waited this long, my age has made it more difficult to conceive due to low AMH, endometriosis, one blocked tube and pre-diabetic. But I wouldn’t change it for the world. Here I am at 39, trying for baby # 2. Six months of clomid and no luck. Fertility specialist switched to Fermora for first cycle with IUI and still no luck. Took 1 month break due to cyst on right ovary so was prescribed birth control. Now I’m on 2nd IUI but this time giving clomid another try; with our faith in God we pray that I am pregnant ! Reason I’m giving clomid rating of 8 is because the severe pain that I endured during ovulation - even though it is so worth it in the end."

Clomid (clomiphene) for Ovulation Induction "I want to review Clomid and Metformin because other people's reviews gave me hope and I want to pay it back. About me: I am 32, UK based, TTC for nearly 3 years,1 miscarriage during that time, PCOS, and high AMH levels. I began taking 50g Clomid (with 1000g Metformin) in September 2021 to induce ovulation and it worked for me first time. I did not get pregnant that month but blood tests confirmed that for the first time in a long time, I had ovulated. I took the same dose in October 2021 and I am currently 5 weeks pregnant!! For me, Clomid has been a true blessing. I took it on days 2-6 of my cycle (starting on the second day of my period) and always just before bed to try and avoid the worst of the side-effects. I did get some hot flushes and vaginal dryness, and the second month I was exceptionally emotional/irritable, but TBH I think that was more about the stress of trying to conceive than the actual medication! Good luck to everyone on this journey xxx"

Clomid (clomiphene) for Oligospermia "I've been taking 50mg of Clomid every other day for about a year to help Low Testosterone (Male). My testosterone was at 233 prior to starting and is now at 742. This shift was directly in step with when I started taking the medication. I have experienced some joint pain (likely due to lower bondable estrogen) and my libido is still low (although higher than it was pre-Clomid). Otherwise, it has been fantastic, it's super easy to take every other day, and the 25-day half-life keeps the levels super consistent, even if you miss a dose accidentally."
