"The PA prescribed 1 week of Cipro by mouth for a quarter inch wide reddish laceration from my bike pedals six inches inches above my ankle. I questioned it. She said I should take it to "prevent the infection from going to my ankle". I took the cipro as prescribed. Its been 3 weeks since I took it. The cut is mostly healed now but I got multiple tendinitis at week 1 and still am having hip pain."
