Midamor (amiloride) for High Blood Pressure "I developed a low electrolyte problem, sodium went down to 119 and I spent 2 days in hospital, chloride was 89, even potassium was low at one time."

For High Blood Pressure "I have Liddle syndrome (genetic hypertension) and amiloride is the only medication that works to control my BP"

For Edema "At 20mg daily with furosemide 80mg, KCl 10mEq, not much effect on edema or potassium levels."
