Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Tried this as an alternative to phosphodiesterase inhibitors (Levitra and such, just because I get some side effects from these and wanted to see if got better results for less side effects). Slightly awkward application, sticking a plastic stick down, though I rather like the sensation. Have to say it works REALLY well for me, a bit of penile pain in the area where the pellet is deposited in the urethra, but really quick onset of erection (no need for stimulation at all) and a really firm erection. 500mcg dose is good for me. Also keeps me hard for a good while after climax, so feel ready to go again after a bit of a breather!"

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "This medicine works amazingly for me. Having had prostate cancer, none of the pills worked with any success. Switched to this and have had amazing success. The only issue I ever had was a blood pressure med conflicted with it and seemed to stop working . After consulting with uroligist he suggested that may be the issue. GP changed blood pressure med and it started working again. I use it roughly 3x per week and never have issues. I am 53 years old and my significant other is constantly remarking that men my age cannot perform like this on a consistent basis. Erection usually last 2 - 3 hours and I am able to perform multiple times in that time periold. Highly recommend."

Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "After hit or miss experiences with Viagra I tried 250 mg muse and the results are stunning. 5 minutes and notice immediate effects......10 minutes later about 80% erect with zero stimulation. After 20 minutes ready to go. I did notice slight pain (not to the uncomfortable stage) with erection but at 66 years old, it works like nothing else and after ejaculation, about 50% erect and with modest stimulation from partner good to go. Takes about 90 to 120 minutes before wearing off. Works with no viagra like effects (headache) works while drinking. It's a 10 with me."

Caverject (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Prostrate completely removed at age 50, erection nerves were cut as well. Caverject injection most reliable to achieve results. Started with 20 mcg strength but moved to 40 mcg strength bottle of dry power to get more servings per bottle. 40 mcg is diluted with 200 cc sterile water and provides 10 events a 20 cc increments. Results usually last about an hour but firmness is dimishing with age. 15 years experience using caverject. I mix myself. I am now 65."

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "After having my prostrate removed, I could not get an erection. Viagra and Cialis did not work. The next step was injections, which the Dr. recommended Edex. The injection was painless and I had a great erection. I had an erection for 6 hours, which I have to tell you, it is not a pleasure, but after reducing the dose in half it's much better. I highly recommend Edex. The Dr. gave me an Edex card, which took care of the co-pay and ended up costing me nothing."

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Used Edex for the first time today. I'm 52. I have low testosterone (350), but no other chronic health issues. My erectile dysfunction is mostly psychological. Doctor gave me a few 20mcg samples. Decided to use a very small dose (about 0.25ml or about 5mcg) since it was my first use. Had a nice hard erection in about 3 minutes, and it lasted about 60 mins. Needle insertion was painless. Small bruise at the insertion site. No pain at all, until about 45 minutes into my erection when I started to have a dull pain in the shaft of my penis. I assume that was due to being erect for 60 mins for the first time in 20 years. Edex was easy to use, worked great for me. Try it !"

Caverject (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Wonderful medicine. It gives me rock hard erection lasting one to one and a half hours. No need to worry about changing positions, moving and losing erection. Caverject locks in the erection so you can focus on the sexual experience. A+"

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Wow.... Had Prostrate cancer and it was removed 13 months ago. Was still waiting for my erections to start but nothing. My doctor prescribed Viagra as well as using a pump. Viagra helped in getting the erection up but it would never stay. Would just as one would say peter out in a min. I also was prescribed some suppository things but the cost was out of this world. So next he had me try this EDEX. Wow, it works like all the above good ratings. Erection was up in under 10 min and lasted about 3 hours (great huh).... only problem was the pain. I was given the lowest amount... Guess its not for me. 10 was because it works, a 3 because of pain."

Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Worked fantastically. I have tried Caverject since and it worked ok but had a semi that lasted about 3 hours and the injection site was painful. I've also tried the new Vitaros but found it useless. MUSE though.......the erection drug of the gods!"

Caverject (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Starting taking Caverject 20mg around 3-4 years ago. Worked great when I first started using it and was down to 1/4 of a injection to get an erection within 5 mins. that would last for at least 4 hours. Now I inject the full dose and when it works it works the same as before but more often then not it do not work at all. Do anyone else have this problem?"

Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Due to the blood pressure medicines I take, I cannot tolerate Viagra or Cialis. I tried my 1st MUSE (500mg) a few days ago. Since it was my 1st dose, my wife and I about missed the window. I don't believe the 500mg will be enough in the future. I suspect I'll need the 1000mg. The erection wasn't quite as firm as the Viagra and Cialis. But because it had little or no side effect with respect to my blood pressure, it will be a winner for us."

For Erectile Dysfunction "I was pretty frustrated with the pills. I tried Viagra and Levitra with minimal effects. My doctor suggested Alprostadil injection therapy. I was a little nervous especially with the thought of getting a shot into my penis but after reading up on it I mananged to get up enough nerve to give it a try. I must say the shot didnt hurt at all. Zero pain and only a little drop of blood from the injection site. Within 10 minutes I was fully erect and my erection lasted for 70 minutes. I didn't experience any side effects like with the pills. No headache, no flush mess in the face, no visual impairment, or heart burn. I am very pleased with the outcome and would recommend this course of treatment for men that have little success with the pills."

The issue is I have to inject 10mcg and 20mcg separately . Anyone know if I can just inject the one dosage of both together . Hate needles"

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "I have type 2 diabetes and I have had 2 emergency discectomy's. I was having major erectile dysfunction issues. Long story short, went to doc. He gave me 'truth Serum" injection (my word for EDEX), because he had to measure both flaccid( no problem there) and erect, hence the "serum". Told me to go into waiting room. Not fully knowing what was about to happen, it felt like the incredible hulk had managed to get into my shorts. It was amazing. Not only was I alive, ALIVE!! I honestly felt 18 again ( 48 currently)."

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Viagra never worked. Cialis worked partially. I tried the Edex 20 mcg and was amazed at how well it works! I read the instructions two or three times to ensure I understood all. Took time to locate a good spot and avoiding the veins. I was surprised at how little pain there is with the needle (my biggest apprehension) and I did not get any bruising or discoloration at the injection site. Some minor aching, which maybe will go away with further use. Onset took about 4 minutes and full onset within 10-11 minutes. I would rate the erection at about 80%; I am going to try the 40 mcg. dosage, to see if I can attain closer to 95-100%. Many who post here do not discuss dosage levels? I am age 66. I wish I had tried this earlier!"

Caverject Impulse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Was in bad auto accident that broke my hip and had an adverse effect on the nerves in my groin area, this got worse with age causing ED...no help from pills, and then my Urologist prescribed Caverject.....Wow that was the answer ! I have used it at about nine times now - only had one failure to launch (it was probably an injection mistake made by me), but 8 Gold medal performances!...The dose I use is 15mcg and I last 1.5 up to 2 hours!!! My Lady friend is amazed and fully satisfied with the performance - so am I. At our age we have to take a short break before finishing up. The good part is that I stay erect even after climax..."

Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "I had prostate surgery in 2009 and had used Muse for ten years. I had tried everything from injections, pills, pumps and now medical Muse. The key is to determine what works for you. When I first began to use this medication I used a penis pump. The pump comes with different size rings for your penis. I pumped the penis up, then remove it out of the pump and I insert the Muse into the head of the penis and re-pump. After 8 mins or so I slide the ring off the pump on to the shaft or base of the penis. The penis will stay hard and the ring will help keep the blood inside the penis. Best position is standing over the bed while your partner lay on the bed. Side effects for me are; a little discomfort in the groin area (but hell, it's worth it) also swelling of veins in the lower left leg. Women don't care how you get it hard, as long as you get it hard. I honestly had no complain. PS, use your pump ever day to mimic a hard-on that we use to get every morning.. " keep that thang alive "!"

Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "After trying Silendafil and Cialis after Prostate Surgery neither worked for me. Using the Caverject Injection was good but not a big fan of the needle. Using the 500 Muse was great for me. Little pain during insert, but got a really good hard on. I will continue to use if effective, if not surgery for me. I do recommend this product if your insurance pays for it. Mines is free with the Veterans Administration."

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Tried it last night with great trepidation. I am generally a nervous guy about everything and had high apprehension about injecting myself, getting a 10 hour boner, etc. Happy to say that it was super easy to use. I got a 10Mcg kit and was afraid of a priapus so I injected 5mcg (which you can do). I carefully put pressure on the area I injected for a few minutes and got no bruising. I only got very slight burning that lasted 30 seconds and went away with the aforementioned gentle pressure. Got a wonderful erection that lasted about 2 hours. I was glad I didn't inject the whole ten mcgs! Didn't need to. I am 62 and I think most of my problem is psychological. Sometimes Viagra just won't work for."

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "I have been using EDEX for 2 or 3 years. At first there was very little pain, but now the pain approaches severe. I am using the maximum dosage, and I do get an erection, but sometimes my erection peters out (pun intended), and also it has become more difficult to achieve an orgasm. I also use MUSE sometimes, and although it is not as effective as EDEX, it damn sure does not hurt as much as EDEX. I am 74 yrs. YOUNG!."
