Muse (alprostadil): If you are taking certain heart medications you are warned never ever to use Viagra or it's kin as it could possibly kill you by dropping your blood pressure off the scale. MUSE does not have this risk. I gave it an 8 because not everyone will need MUSE and for them Viagra is easier. For me though it would be a 10+.

Caverject Impulse (alprostadil): Works everytime. The only drawback is that if you don't hit the proper insertion point it's a waste of medication. It's not always available at many local pharmacies. Otherwise I love it and my partner loves it too.

Caverject Impulse (alprostadil): Very dependable - works everytime once you learn how to inject properly. Results start after 15 minutes and last up to almost 2 hours for me. My wife and I love it!

Edex (alprostadil): Edex works well. I started with 20mg then 40mg. I found the 20mg is good. I did get it in the vein twice and boy what a Black and Blue Mark.

Muse (alprostadil): Due to the blood pressure medicines I take, I cannot tolerate Viagra or Cialis. I tried my 1st MUSE (500mg) a few days ago. Since it was my 1st dose, my wife and I about missed the window. I don't believe the 500mg will be enough in the future. I suspect I'll need the 1000mg. The erection wasn't quite as firm as the Viagra and Cialis. But because it had little or no side effect with respect to my blood pressure, it will be a winner for us.

Edex (alprostadil): The only thing keeping me from giving it a 10 is the price. At $25.00/injection it's a little much. I get the 20mcg and use 1/2 pre-shot.The pain is a lot less if you use insealant needles. It works for me every time.

Edex (alprostadil): Sometimes causes a small bruise (pencil point size) to as large as 1 inch by 4 inches (twice). Must add, very infrequently bruised, as I've learned to be careful at the injection site. Been using 40mg Edex for about 6 years. Like it better than Caverject (5 years) for ease of injection and preparation. Twice had gotten bent needles, but called Edex, and the medication was replaced free through my provider. Sometimes use a "ring" with the medication. Gave a 9 instead of 10 because of bruising.

Caverject (alprostadil): Prostrate completely removed at age 50, erection nerves were cut as well. Caverject injection most reliable to achieve results. Started with 20 mcg strength but moved to 40 mcg strength bottle of dry power to get more servings per bottle. 40 mcg is diluted with 200 cc sterile water and provides 10 events a 20 cc increments. Results usually last about an hour but firmness is dimishing with age. 15 years experience using caverject. I mix myself. I am now 65.

Edex (alprostadil): The drug has been consistently effective for me at 20mcg. I find the provided injector is much more difficult to use for a low-pain injection than the one provided with 'Caverject'.

Edex (alprostadil): Tested today with the urologist. I'm a 38 year old diabetic in great shape actually but have erectile dysfunction and nothing seems to work. They prescribed a 20mcg of Edex. We tried it at 10mcg. Seems to work really well.

Caverject (alprostadil): When used correctly it works well within the 60 to 90 minute time for satisfactory and excellent results. Quick injections and within 10 minutes, you are ready.
Edex (alprostadil): I use EDEX 40mg and take a 10 mg Levitra. I can sustain an erection easily for one hour. I hold off climax as long as possible. When I feel that I may lose my erection
I hasten to a climax. Usually stays erect for a little while after climax. I am pretty satisfied with the product.
No side effects from EDEX but have a heavy head from the Levitra. I am 75.
alprostadil: I had difficulties achieving a full rigid erection since my teens and never found satisfactory treatments until I was 23 when I emotionally opened up to my doctor with tears. I was sent for a Doppler scan of my penis to figure out what's going on. It turned out my left artery on the left side is narrow and I had a birth defect. My doctor showed me how to inject myself and found my dose of 14 mcg. I have not changed the dosage for 14 years. Viagra, Cialis etc. do not help me due to the birth defect. I use the prostaglandin E1 carefully and I think it's a great. I gave it 10 rating. It works.
alprostadil: I've been using Alprostadil for about a year now due to erectile dysfunction caused by nerve damage from surgery. It took a while to get the dosage right, but after a bit I was able to deal it in. Although very effective, I have a slow reaction to it. Slow coming up (30-40 minutes) and slow going down (about 2 hours). Hence the 9 out of 10.
alprostadil: I have been using alprostadil 20mg. I find the single injection pack takes a lot longer to use and puts you off with changing needles etc. With the new dual chamber units with the screw tops so much quicker and easier.
Edex (alprostadil): Tried it last night with great trepidation. I am generally a nervous guy about everything and had high apprehension about injecting myself, getting a 10 hour boner, etc. Happy to say that it was super easy to use. I got a 10Mcg kit and was afraid of a priapus so I injected 5mcg (which you can do). I carefully put pressure on the area I injected for a few minutes and got no bruising. I only got very slight burning that lasted 30 seconds and went away with the aforementioned gentle pressure. Got a wonderful erection that lasted about 2 hours. I was glad I didn't inject the whole ten mcgs! Didn't need to. I am 62 and I think most of my problem is psychological. Sometimes Viagra just won't work for.
alprostadil: For 23 years I have used Prostglandin E1, Aprostadil or Prostin. It changed my whole sex life from quick before it goes down to long and slow. You have to be careful you learn the proper way to take your injection, that is important, and DON'T TAKE TOO MUCH. I have had 6 hour erections that are painful. Take your shots out with you, step into a bathroom and your good to go 10 minutes later. My wife says it the greatest invention ever. No side effects like Viagra no flushing. My face goes purple on Viagra. Start out with small injections and work up to the right dose.
Caverject Impulse (alprostadil): It feels really good to get an erection quickly and you can keep it without going limp. Caverject works, you need to get the injection site down, no problem.
Muse (alprostadil): If you are not using a condom, your partner may experience painful vaginal itching or burning. If your partner is pregnant, you should use a condom during sexual intercourse because this medicine has not been tested during human pregnancy.
Edex (alprostadil): Excellent results in the first try; removing years of disappointments. As a diabetic, the use of needles is not new but I was unsure of this location and possible errors. It was easy, accurate and without side effects.
