The most uncomfortable side effect is nausea and a terrible taste in my mouth which adds to the nausea. Mints and gum help minimally as do times when I can eat. Sometimes I am so nauseous that I can't eat. I really don't want to stop taking this drug since it is the only thing which has returned my platelet count to a safe level. (97,000 with last CBC) Any suggestions?
I'm having some Promacta side effects. Can they be lessened?
