How soon can I get pregnant while being on cabergoline pill ?

OMG - this medicine is heaven sent. I tried for 13yrs to conceive.
It took all of two months to get pregnant and now I have a healthy 25lb, 5 old month baby boy.

I took Cabergoline 4 years ago. I couldn’t get pregnant for two years. After three months on the medication I got Pregnant with my son. Best of luck to you.

I am currently taking Cabergoline I’m afraid it wont work I been on it since July 1,2020 ... still no sex drive nor appetite I had a good period in July, none in Aug ( I think I had a chemical pregnancy) I had a positive pregnancy or it could’ve been a false result then I started to bleed. Now I jus had another period recently I have a 3m follow up appt with the Endocrinologist. I jus wanna fall pregnant already!

I had tried to conceive for 2 years. After several appointments with my doctor we discovered my high prolactin levels. I was given cabergoline. After 2 cycles (2 months) I was finally pregnant. It’s very quick. We are now trying to conceive again, so I am now back on it. We have a healthy 6 month year old and I am forever grateful for this medicine. It truly works!

Did you become pregnant?

Its been 3 months I am taking cabergoline for lowering my prolactin level that was 249 ng/ml but after two months my prolactin level lowered to 8 ng/ml. First month i got my periods on 33th day of my cycle... nd now I dont get my periods and its 51th day of my cycle. I did home pregnancy tests they all came negative. And 10 days back I did blood pregnancy test and it was came negative too. I am so confused and a bit worried as I came to know that this medicine help in regulation of periods. But I dont know what is this..does anyone has ever go through the same?

How do you know when your levels are back to normal? I've been taking this pill since late October2017 after 6-8weeks of being on the pill I've gotten my period it is now January 2018... when your Menstrual comes does that mean you're levels have dropped and you can possibly ovulate as well?

Although it is not advised to take Dostinex if you are wanting to get pregnant, I fell pregnant while taking cabergoline. I had previously been on Bromocriptine 4 years prior when first diagnosed with a pituitary tumor while trying unsuccessfully with getting pregnant. 4 years on and finished having babies, I went back on Dostinex which regulated my cycle (half tablet twice weekly). I fell pregnant in the second month of being on the medication as it regulated my cycle and was too easy. I stopped the tablets straight away (but had been taking the medication for at least 2-3 weeks while unknowingly pregnant). Baby was born in perfect health and pregnancy was good/non eventful

I'm also in the same boat I believe when the levels become normal ovulation will finally happen...

I'm in a similar situation. So I will be interested to hear what others say. What has been explained to me by my doctor is that it's all dependent on your prolactin level. The standard range needed for ovulation is below 27.0 ng/mL. So you should probably know where you fall within that range and if you're still above, ensure that your dosage is correct so it continues to drop until you're in the standard range.
