Monistat-1 - I used a monistat 1 this morning & my boyfriend somehow convinced me to have sex?

Monistat 1 typically isn't even recommended because of the high singular dose of the medication. I definitely wouldn't take it again so soon as it could result in adverse reactions. Maybe take the 3 or 7 day monistat (and avoid having sex) or try and get a prescription for diflucan, which is an oral antifungal that you take once or twice depending on the severity of the infection. This typically clears things up much faster than monistat. Even with this though, it's not recommended to have sex until you know the infection has subsided.
