Is it okay to break Ropinirole tablets in half to see if that will help with side effects?

just started taking 1mg every night, is really helping the rls, but I am very nauseous and fatigued

Yes, that would be ok - the tablets do not have a special coating.
If you find taking half a tablet reduces the side effects talk with your doctor. There is a 0.5mg tablet available which would mean you wouldn't need to cut them.
