... all day. I'm wondering if I should switch my dose to nighttime? I guess I thought Cymbalta was a med that could interrupt sleep that's why I've been taking it in the morning. I'm so tired I can barely function. Thank you for any advice!
Cymbalta at night or in morning? I just started Cymbalta yesterday morning and have been very tired?

Your choice, just take about the same time every day. It made me tired too, but I did take in the morning because I remembered to take easier than at night.
Hi Sweet Luck: Actually my Dr. told me that the Duloxetine (generic Cymbalta) would probably make me sleepy so i could take it at or before bedtime. However, with my phobia of side effects, i chose to take it in the morning. I did feel a little drowsy/tired the first day 9 days ago, but i couldn't actually fall asleep, plus if there were any bad side effects i didn't want it happening at night haha. Fortunately there weren't any bad ones, but when i went to sleep that night i have to say i slept better than i had in a long time and have thus far. I take mine at 10a.m. after some protein and lil milk. I had read where taking it with /during a protein meal it would help cut down on possibility of nausea. So i have chosen to keep with the morning dosing. For you, it sounds like late evening would be best for you tho. Hope this helps someway :)
Thank you Ziggy, I have continued to take it in the morning..I wasn't as tired today so hoping for the best!
You are welcome Sweet Luck :) I found that each day got better as well as did all the side effects in about 3 or 4 days. I hope and pray you continue to do excellent !! :)
