how long should i take this medication? I have taken one gel 3x/day for 5 days with no relief. I have another refill for 3-4 days. Is it safe to take? My cough is the same or worse.

Jimg; If it has not helped at this point, There really does not seem for any reason to take any more you should make sure your still drinking plenty of water. And if a cough continues to call your doctor and let the doctor know that you have gotten no relief from this prescription of Benzonatate and see if they well try something else. Good luck.to you
