I've been taking hydroxyzine for about a month. I've not been able to sleep, and I have insomnia since I have been taking this drug. Also I've been agitated , and my tinnitus has gone through the roof. Can this happen with hydroxyzine. I am also taking Remeron for depression.
I am asking about my medication?

HI DonaldFoley I take 50 mg of hydroxyzine for sleep and anxiety and it helps . I would check and see if there are any interactions between hydroxyzine and remeron . Talk to your doctor about this . My son-in-law takes remeron for sleep and anxiety . The only other medications we take are blood pressure meds . You can also check with your pharmacist , but let your doctor know . Good Luck
