Overview

If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Hydrocortisone Gel while you are pregnant. It is not known if Hydrocortisone Gel is found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you use Hydrocortisone Gel, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.

Hydrocortisone topical Pregnancy Warnings

Hydrocortisone has been assigned to pregnancy category C. Animal studies have revealed evidence of teratogenicity when corticosteroids are administered orally or potent steroids are applied topically. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Hydrocortisone should only be used during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk.

Hydrocortisone topical Lactation Warnings

There are no data on the excretion of topically applied hydrocortisone into human milk.
