Albenza is used in the treatment of pinworm infection, enterobius vermicularis; ascariasis; cutaneous larva migrans; hydatid disease; hookworm infection, necator or ancylostoma (and more), and belongs to the drug class anthelmintics. Risk cannot be ruled out during pregnancy. Albenza 200 mg is not subject to the Controlled Substances Act.
