Default Prescription weight loss drug experiences req.

My dr says that I "qualify" for a weight loss prescription drug program. I'm not sure if I'm interested after reading the info available on them. Does anyone have any personal experiences that they can share? either positive or negative & please let me know what you've taken. Thanks!

Well, my husband had qualfied, but the big problem he ran into is that if you are taking antidepressants or various other meds, they don't mix, they can cause a life threatening reaction so you can't take them together.

The one he did try was Xenical and he hated it, once he took it, he spent all his time in the bathroom expelling a greasy diarrhea icky stuff, so he refused to keep taking it.

My information is not guaranteed correct. I do not get them right all the time, but I do enjoy the hunt~

I stopped taking Lexapro a month ago...so the anti-depressants aren't the issue now....they were the issue of why so much weight came on. It's slowly coming off.

Your husband's experience is exactly what I don't want. Thanks so much for your reply!

Default xenical experience

I have been taking xenical for 3 months. I have lost 1 stone 10 pounds, and feel so good. It has been just what I needed to psychologically start to tackle my weight, at 16 stone I was having all sorts of health problems. No medication that clashed though.
Yes if I eat a fatty meal the resulting experiences on the loo are unpleasant! But it is a good way for me to remember and be more aware of what I eat. My doctor agrees that dieting is stupid, unless it is just cutting down amounts, so I still eat what I did before but less.
I obviously wonder what will happen when I stop taking the capsules, but I don't ever want to be as big again. Think about giving it a try.
