I am taking Parnate, 60 mg/day for depression. Researching the internet, I find dozens of lists of "foods to avoid" (mainly those with high tyramine). However, I find a great disparity among these lists. Some list things that others don't; some say a food is O.K. that others say should be avoided. Some so no alcohol at all, others list many forms of alcohol that are O.K. "in moderation". They can't all be right, so I guess I'm stuck with "trial and error", using small quantities of suspected foods for experiment? Anyone else dealt with this dilemma?
