Enasidenib may alter the blood levels of ethinyl estradiol in some patients. Be alert to potential changes in the effects of ethinyl estradiol. Patients taking oral contraceptives may have increased side effects from the contraceptive or experience breakthrough bleeding or even unintended pregnancy. Patients taking hormone replacement for menopause may have increased side effects from the hormone treatment or increased menopausal symptoms.
