For Migraine "I get relief from Zomig. I can't drink hot drinks like coffee or tea though unless I have lots of milk in it. If I take a shower the water hurts my skin unless I have the temperature very low. I don't know why Zomig gives a sensitivity to hot water & hot drinks. It does clear the headaches. I get tired though."

For Migraine "I Suffered with dreadful Migraine ever since I was around 11 years old, so bad my arm used to be paralysed and speech was severely affected with almost stroke like symptoms, I had so much time off school and also my places of employment in later life and I had to cancel shows, trips out etc.At the age of 57 I was prescribed Zomig and it changed my life, I only need a quarter of a tablet and after 40 minutes I feel fine and the only side effect is a slight sensitivity to hot drinks and hot water which wears off after an hour or so .I can't believe all those years I have suffered and the way Migraine ruled my life. I am 69 years old this year and whilst I feel happy to be cured,I feel I have been robbed of many years."

For Migraine "Fantastic. I use to suffer with nasty migranes that would leave me in bed, in too much pain to even cry. I use zomig rapi-melt 2.5mg. It takes between 20-40 mins to work, at any stage of the attack, and clears all symptoms."

For Migraine "Zomig is effective, though I occasionally require a second dose. After taking Zomig, I experience stiffness and achiness throughout my body. Warm water feels very hot on my hands and if I drink tea, it has to be barely warm or it feels like it is burning my mouth. Sometimes after several days of migraines treated with Zomig, I am so sore all over that I have trouble walking or doing anything physical. I have fibromyalgia and it seems like Zomig makes it worse- more painful."

For Migraine "Zomig ZMT works well for me, so far. 2 years on it after Maxalt seemed to be less effective. I begin vomiting and nothing can help me then, so orally disintegrating tablets or a shot is all I can do. My migraines always seemed to be hormonal, but now that I'm post-menopause, I still get them. Maybe fewer, but just as severe without treatment. Lifetime sufferer with family history (father, his brother, his sister, his mother, his brother's daughter, me, all 3 of my kids). Having these migraine medicines work is like a miracle!"

For Migraine "I have had migraines since childhood. This has been the only medicine that has truly helped. I have to take it early in the headache or it’s not as effective. If I take it during the night I am groggy all day but if I’m already up and doing stuff I don’t get tired and feel better in about a half hour. I do have some sensitivity when I eat something kind of like I am eating something very sour. This medicine has truly changed my life. I have lost jobs and missed so many holidays and family events over the years. I wish I would’ve been prescribed this a long time ago. I use goodrx to get it because insurance stopped paying for it. I actually get more pills for less money now."

For Migraine "Zomig ZMT works well for me, especially when I take it just as I get the feeling I will get a migraine. All migraine symptoms are gone within 30-45 minutes. My side effects are: *drowsiness (but not so much that I can't function. I just yawn a lot), some neck stiffness, taste sensitivity (the first several bites of food after letting the tablet dissolve cause my tastebuds to feel really funny... sort of a sharp feeling if that makes any sense at all) BUT, those symptoms are a lot better than having a migraine! "

For Migraine "As far as I know, Zomig is a swallowed tablet and Zomig-ZMT is the orally disintegrating tablet, with a zingy orange flavor. I didn't notice much difference but I imagine the ZMT works faster as it disperses in the mouth. With this abortive, as with many, it works best if you take it 'during onset of migraine'. This is an issue for me because sometimes at onset I'm not sure if it will actually develop into a migraine, so I don't take it and then I am in agony two hours later, even with two doses, which are not/hardly effective since I've missed onset."

For Migraine "I've suffered from migraines for over 20 years. Various treatments have worked over the years but lose their effectiveness after certain amount of time. Zomig has helped me tremendously because of the various methods of delivery. I'll take the nasal spray & when that stops working after a few months, I'll switch to the tablets. While this product does work, it sometimes can take a second dose before I get relief. Sometimes, it doesn't work at all. It really depends on how soon I take it. Like someone else said in a previous review, sometimes I don't realize it's going to be a migraine. I do still get regular headaches and using my migraine medicine on those, in my opinion, can be wasteful. Especially at the price you have to pay for it."

For Migraine "My migraines appear hormonal related, premenopausal in my 40's. If taken at onset Zomig is very effective against my migraines. If taken later it is still effective, but requires another dose within a few hours, as directed, to get the pain under control - HOWEVER if taken then I've had the stiff neck and jaw thing. I do notice that my skin is sensitive to heat after I've taken Zomig and my taste buds are sensitive to some flavors (excessive salivating). It does make me dizzy. I usually break a tablet in half (which I was just reading you're NOT supposed to do, but it doesn't say why), and if I catch the migraine fast enough half is usually enough to deter it. I save the other half for later if the migraine feels like it is returning."

For Migraine "Zomig nasal spray is a lifesaver. My migraine is gone within 20 minutes and I don't get any side effects of oral Triptans like I used to. I used to need to go to bed for the rest of the day when taking a triptan, but the nasal spray bypasses the stomach and I don't have those weird side effects anymore! Love it!"

For Migraine "This product seemed to work really fast but sometimes it wouldn't take care of all the pain from the migraine. Also, I noticed when I do a hard body workout at the gym and if I get a migraine the next day or two, after that workout the medicine made my body ache real bad. My chest, arms, and legs would really hurt from the constricting blood vessels. "

For Migraine "I have been taking this for years & it has saved my life. I have daily migraines & have had them all my life due to several causes I won’t go into. Zomig ZMT 5 mg is the only thing that works for me. Not in 20 mins like others said, may take 2 hrs in the dark but it does work & nothing else does. My problem is that in 2018 I started having trouble getting it. Astra Zeneca used to make a generic that was the same through Impax. Cost me about $400 per month for 30. Impax has discontinued it. Now to get that amount of Zomig it is about $6,800. No formularies carry it. The only thing Zomig can find is the garbage from India which is not the same at all & works zero percent of the time. This was the only thing that kept me functioning & I am very scared. I have been taking rizotriptan (Maxalt) from Costa Rica. I have to take at least twice as much of it & it still does not work very well. "

For Migraine "This pill is a miracle. Yes I suffer every side effect everyone else listed and it's worth it. This pill works for me in 20 minutes and it works every time. I can 6 hours into the migraine and poof it's gone. As with most: Taste sensitive Sore muscles Still muscles Mild dizziness It messes with my sleep schedule And I notice a huge increase in heart rate at the gym the next day. All that might seem like it's debilitating, but I am telling you it's so much better than the alternative and other medications fail me entirely. Please try this medication if others are failing you because this stuff is livable"

For Migraine "I have suffered for years with severe migraines and spent many days missing work and in a dark room laying in pain. Finally, my doctor prescribed Zomig-ZMT rapid melt. It changed my life. I take one under the tongue and in a half hour, it is gone. The only two side effects I have had are feeling like I could take a nap if I’m inactive, and feeling pain-free and great for 24 hours. I am a senior and I told my doctor I feel 25 for 24 hrs when I take them."
