Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "I have had Zilretta injections in both of my knees. It is absolutely FANTASTIC ! I was pain free the 1st day after my injection. I did not have any side effects. I can do things I haven't been able to do for years. Going up and down stairs is so much easier now. I can stand in one place for and extended period of time. I can kneel on the floor and play with my Grand kids. I feel like a new person being pain free. I would recommend anyone with Osteoarthritis to try Zilretta."

Kenalog-10 (triamcinolone) for Alopecia "I got diagnosed with Alopecia February of 2019. I noticed I had a bald spot in the middle of my head the size of a dime then it grew bigger & bigger, to the point that I had to find out what it was. The doctor gave me clobetasol propionate ointment. Then two months later I was given injections of kenalog 10 and it took about two months new hair grew in, a different texture at that! I was so happy & great full. Now I have spots elsewhere and the doctors are working on those areas as well. FEELING HOPEFUL!"

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Bursitis "Have had sciatica/spinal stenosis and herniated discs on MRI. Constant pain, felt like lightning in my left leg, tingling all the time and felt like hot liquid running down my leg. Seen Ortho doctor and he suggested kenalog injections to treat what he thought was bursisis in the hip and also sciatica. Went on a Tuesday and got 2 injections in the hip/butt area. Was pain free since the injections. Have small amounts of tingling below the knee if I overdue things. Friday was the first time in years that I could actually walk through the grocery store and not have to leave due to unbearable pain. This drug is just amazing to me. I have had no side effects from the injection. Only been 5 days but hopefully it will last for awhile and that I can avoid surgery. I feel so thankful. I highly recommend anyone trying Kenalog, it seems like a blessing for me."

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "I've had medial left knee pain for awhile and tried different avenues of pain management, including hyaluronic acid injections. Zilretta is awesome! It took a good week for it to kick in, but I am now at one month and the pain has subsided immensely. No side effects at all. I'm very active and play a lot of pickleball, so I'm a true test to the effectiveness of this drug."

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Allergic Rhinitis "I am nearly 70 years old. I find the allergy relief - liberating. It allows me to live my life with freedom. The alternative is to take traditional meds and never go outside. I have been using my entire adult life."

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "The first set of injections kept me in pain and off of my feet for over a week. I've had to get the injections every 3 months instead of every 6 like my last medication. Every time it is the same thing, both knees end up swollen and painful for a week or longer. The effects of Zilretta are semi-beneficial for about 8 weeks. I've had a lot more pain, stiffness and swelling in my knees since taking Zilretta. There are days that I can't fully straighten or bend my legs. The inflammation is bad and my symptoms are becoming worse then they were before I started Zilretta. This is a serious concern. I'm glad that it is helping some people, but for me the short 8 weeks of slight relief is not worth the pain and worsening of symptoms that I have for the rest of the time between injections."

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "MAN!!! Where do I start? Both knees are shot but I’m unable to do surgery at this time because of mother-in-law broken hip and recent major surgery on son so we’re taking care of them. ZILRETTA is fantastic for my osteoarthritis it works and it lasts for about 3 months I have been taking the injections about 9 months. Before that Dr was doing steroid injections that last almost 2-3 weeks. Greatest product."

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Rheumatoid Arthritis "I have had rheumatoid arthritis now for about 4 years, mainly in my neck and shoulders. I'm a school teacher and it would be excruciating to raise my arms to write on the board. I'm also a musician with allergies. A year ago last spring I decided to get an allergy shot to reduce my allergy symptoms before a performance and was astonished to experience that my rheumatoid arthritis pain literally left my body. I didn't attribute the regression to the Kenalog but while talking to my doctor she made the relationship. The Kenalog shot for allergies was suppose to be good for a year. A year later my arthritis started to seep back into my neck and shoulders. I went back to the same allergy doctor and got exactly the same shot and my rheumatoid arthritis symptoms left again. My life has changed tremendously."

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "I also have bone on bone in my knee. I was using cortisone injections and then doctor told me about Zilretta. I got the injection in May and by August it was wearing off. I am in more pain now than ever before. It felt great at first but WOW. I do not recommend this."

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "I've had every knee shot for knee osteoarthritis with no results. I've had moderate to severe knee pain for five years. I had my left knee injected two weeks ago and got immediate results. Pain free! Yesterday I had my right knee injected with the same results. Zilretta is amazing! Curious to see how long the shots will last."

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) "Have terrible problems with boils and cysts on my armpits (Hidradenitis Supperativa). Went to a dermatologist who gave me an injection under my left arm. It's been 3 days, and I have been having trouble with heart palpitations, strong beats, and also sometimes feels like a slow heart rate. It's making me feel like something is wrong with my heart! It's actually quite scary. I'm also having issues with nausea, and increased anxiety. How long does this stuff last in your system??? I don't like this at all!"

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Inflammatory Conditions "To all the people who have had 1 injection and love being pain free, BEWARE. I have permanent damage from the injections and will take the pain over the awful side effects. It’s a roller coaster. The more injections the more permanent damage. I have permanent indentions in both buttocks that affect my sitting, injection site burns, itches, hurts & it’s been 6 months since last one, sweat constantly, sleep is rare, NEVER AGAIN. They hook you on the feel good for a while and damage you more over time."

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Allergic Rhinitis "In 2013, I got a kenalog 40 injection in left glute to treat severe chronic hay fever. I just got one shot. One month later my hair started falling out excessively. I have lost 90 percent of my hair and my eyebrows are practically gone. I had super thick healthy hair and 'brooke shield" thick eyebrows. This is scariest most depressing situation. Menstrual cycle is erratic excessive bleeding. I have spent thousands of dollars on endocrinologists and hormone specialists to treat this sudden hair shedding/loss caused by this drug. It has ruined my life."

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "I have had two shots of zilretta in my right knee. The shot lasts exactly 90 days. About 48 hours after receiving this shot all pain is gone and I feel like I have a brand new knee. But I have to fight with my Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield to pay for this shot. It is a great shot if you can schedule the shot exactly every 90 days. The company that manufactures this drug offers no discounts and no coupons or financial help. Even with insurance this shot costs 240 dollars."

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "No one warned me that there were ANY side effects to worry about. I was given 2 injections into my left hip of Kenalog 40. Later the first evening, my face was hot and turned scarlet red. The red swelling went into my right eye and felt like sand. Then I started getting dizzy. My blood pressure was off the charts and my blood sugar Doubled! I had to lay down and all I did was sweat. I thought I was having a heart attack!! The next day, the facial rash was better, but the dizziness turned into violent shaking! When sitting very still, it felt like my whole body was on top of a paint shaker. I got horrible diarrhea that lasted for days. My OLP flared into a bloody mess. It took 12 to 15 weeks to even feel kind of normal again"

Before injection I could not sleep due to throbbing pain and after injection this is gone. My overall pain is significantly reduced. I had no adverse reaction to the drug."

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "I got an injection in my right knee a month ago today (Dr had sample). I was a little worried about it containing steroids, because I've previously had them worsen my mental health symptoms, but I didn't have too many problems with that this time. Of course, after the injection, my knee was sore & swollen, making it difficult to walk right for a few days. I noticed nasal congestion, which is one of the side effects. Since it's extended release, I expected the osteoarthritis pain & swelling in my knee to go down, at least a little bit over time. To date, it hasn't & has actually gotten worse. I've also noticed increased knee stiffness & leg spasms (feels like they're behind the knee cap), that I didn't have before. I was looking forward to this med providing much needed relief, not causing issues. At this point, I'm not planning to get my left knee done. Just not the results I expected. Although I don't believe it's at all related, I will be fair & mention I also have fibromyalgia."

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Lupus "I had strained pretty much my entire body making changes in an old chest. My whole body seemed to hurt constantly and my hands were essentially unmoving and stiff. With an on and off Dx of SLE, I went to a rheumatologist. He injected once in the hip with Kenelog 40. By the next day I felt as though I were a good 20 years younger, with no pain to speak of anywhere in my body. My hands and feet were no longer swollen: ring size went from 9 to 8 and had to take up all shoe buckles at least one hole. My hands had more flexibility and strength than I had had in years. There were no negative side effects. It's been 6 months and I continue with the flexibility, etc. that I had from the beginning. This Kenalog 40 is great stuff!!"

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Allergic Reactions "The night I had my first and only injection, I had horrible night sweats. For the next week, my face has felt hot and I've been hotter than normal when sleeping. My menstrual cycle is also completely screwed up. I'm 37, not pregnant and am now dealing with what I would imagine hot flashes and night sweats to be and the erratic periods I had as a teenager. If I would have known the sides effects, I wouldn't have allowed my doctor to inject me with this drug. I can only hope this gets out of my system ASAP."

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Allergic Rhinitis "After years of suffering through allergies (year round, anything in bloom, grass, trees, etc.), my doctor gave me a shot of Kenalog-40. The shot lasts for 6-10 weeks and has relieved all symptoms. I want to make sure that I don't over use it (as all other allergy medicine I build a tolerance to, and then it fails to work)."

Zilretta (triamcinolone) for Osteoarthritis "Some mild pain and inflammation relief but that lasted just a little while. It's supposed to last a long time but my knee is pretty much worse than before I started the Zirletta injection. I can't say if that's the natural progression or the cortisone sped it up. But I can say that the regular cortisone shot I got before Zirletta was way more effective. I would not recommend Zirletta."

For Alopecia "8 years ago I was diagnosed as having central alopecia...tender scalp accompanied by hair loss. Topical steriod lotion( Betnovate) and Doxycycline were prescribed by my dermatologist. They helped and the hair loss stopped. Because it is the scarring type, the top remained a bit sparse but I was grateful that the hair loss stopped. A couple months ago the hair loss started again and was terrible. Desperate, I requested triamicinolone injections on my scalp. I got 10 on December 15th. In about 8 days I could swear I could see the spaces filling. I almost cried. As a woman, going bald is undescribably horrible. It's been almost a month and it continues to improve. Thank God!!!"

Kenalog-40 (triamcinolone) for Allergic Reactions "I was diagnosed by my long time physician. After he prescribed it I began to have "flu-like" symptoms the next day and called him. He said to stop taking it because it may cause my immune system to not work well. Keep in mind I had never had a cold or the flu. 6 months ago I was given an injection containing Cortisone after plainly stating I was "allergic" to cortisone. Health problems have ensued and no one will listen to me!! When I questioned this doctor, he stated that only one percent of the population suffered any allergic reaction. So he just "rolled the dice" and I am suffering because of it............for the past six months."
