For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Started Zepbound 2 days ago. Ate normally the day of the first injection (2.5mg/0.5ml)... boy, did I make a mistake. I ate 3 meals, my last around 6 PM. That night I felt like a rock was in my stomach, and you could hear the sloshing of water and food as I moved in bed. I started dry heaving and gagging in my sleep. Woke up Tuesday morning feeling sicker than I did when I had morning sickness from pregnancy... and my morning sickness was bad. Was sick all day. Ate nothing on Tuesday. Not a thing. All I could stomach was water and 7up to ease the nausea. Today is Wednesday, diarrhea started this morning and still nauseous, but not hungry. Just drinking my water and some 7up to help with nausea. I was told the nausea will subside after my body gets used to it. Hoping that's true. But honestly, if I have to deal with some nausea to lose the 70 lbs I would like to lose, I'll do it. Will update more once I've been on it for a while."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Just took my third shot. I am 60 yrs old, female, 5'7" and weigh 295. I lost 5 pounds by the 2nd shot. Maybe that's not terribly impressive, but I don't want to lose quickly. Here's what I think is an absolute miracle with Zapbound: NO HEAD HUNGER! For the first time (probably in my life), I don't think about food. I don't crave junk food, I get full very quickly and can only eat small amounts. I had a gastric sleeve 6 years ago (at that time was 350 pounds) and it did a rotten job. It stretched out very quickly and never got rid of the obsessive food thoughts. This Zapbound is something else. I wonder if this is how thin people eat? lol I have had a bit of stomach upset once in awhile, but for the most part am excited to start my higher dose next week. Even if I never lose what I want to, I am so grateful for this drug because I am eating all healthy foods. Nothing less than a miracle if you ask me!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Zepbound 2 weeks ago, so ready for my third injection tomorrow. I’ve lost 4 lbs in the first 2 weeks. I’ve had no side effects whatsoever so far. I’m on the 2.5 initial dose. I am 64 yo and need to lose 50 lbs. I think it’s an amazing drug. I don’t feel hungry all the time, no thoughts of eating or snacking, NO MORE CARB CRAVINGS, and find it’s very easy now to eat super healthy foods. I am eating very small portions, and I think that makes a big difference as far as having side effects. I’ll check back in after I increase my dose, but I want others to hear that not everyone has side effects. Don’t be afraid to try it and don’t let some reviews scare you so much that you refuse it. It’s a fantastic experience so far, for me."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "65, 5' 6'' inches, who weighed 305 lbs 2.5 years ago. Needless to say, I needed to lose weight for more than cosmetic reasons. I started on a medically managed weight loss plan under the direction of a great NP who is well-versed in treating obesity. My insurance won't cover weight loss drugs, so all drugs have been out of pocket. I started on Contrave while following WW and lost 60 lbs. I then went on compounded semaglutide (I know, don't do that) and lost another 40 lbs for a total of 100 lbs, again sticking with WW along with the meds. When Zepbound was approved, I switched to Zepbound using the Lilly savings card ($550/mo) and have lost another 22 lbs so far (a total of 122 lbs) (on 12.5 mg shots now). I am still following WW, and it is so much easier to stick to the food plan with the help of the weight loss drugs. I am a believer and advocate for using these drugs if you need them with a healthy nutrition plan. Mild side effects that diminish over time. Stick with it! It works!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "39-year-old female, starting weight okay. So, I am on my 3rd shot of the lowest dose of 2.5mg. I have had very minimal side effects. My stool is a bit tacky at times, which I combat with fiber gummies. I have lost 14 pounds in less than three weeks!! My appetite is minimal at best, and I've been walking 10k steps a day. I no longer feel ravenous. I can go 12+ hours without eating and feel just fine. I have also simultaneously quit smoking (or greatly reduced) as well as cutting caffeine, and I was afraid that I would be compelled to eat more to compensate, but nope! That urge to bored eat is completely gone!! Like people have said, this is no miracle drug. You have to want to change, but this can help you significantly. My energy is soooo much better. I'm sleeping better. I feel amazing, and it's only week 3!!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I love Zepbound! I started on the low dose and now I'm on the 7.5, and I have lost over 25 lbs. There are side effects, not bad enough to make me not use it. They include nausea, cramping, and loose dark stool. I am totally disabled and can't exercise, so this was a great way for me to get lighter on my feet. Thank you. Good luck if you're starting."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "57 years old female, 5'7', and 200 pounds. Tried to get on Mounjaro for 13 months, but cost was $1,200-1,300. I am not diabetic. In 2022, I had normal cholesterol, and BMI was 30. When Zepbound came out, I went to three doctors. One doctor had never heard of Zepbound, acted like GLP-1 was cheating and that I needed to try more exercise and food control. One doctor said maybe I should try diet and exercise first. An Online doctor, Plushcare, agreed after blood work showed high cholesterol, high blood sugar, and other indicators heading up from the prior year. After five blood tests, each worsening, thirteen months of waiting, and spending $800 on visits, I was written a prescription for Zepbound, which cost me $550 for four 2.5 injections. My insurance will not cover the drug, even though they turned down Mounjaro because it was off-label, and Zepbound is for weight loss. Hope insurance companies will pay for Zepbound, but not today. Thanks Ely Lilly for savings card. I'll post results."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "No side effects whatsoever (except lack of hunger!). My stomach has not growled in months and I am satisfied with half the amount of food I used to eat. Love it! I hope insurance will cover this for the rest of my life. Thank you to the makers and doctors pushing to help others realize that obesity is not a choice, and we are not weak, lazy, stupid, etc. It is genetics and a medical condition."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "This medication works beyond all my expectations!! I am a 40-year-old female and was at a starting weight of 226 when I began the 2.5 mg dose. Immediately, I noticed I could not finish more than a few bites of food, and the thought of chewing meat was repulsive. But for some reason, I could eat fish and fresh fruit. The mental food noise is gone. It's so nice to go grocery shopping and not look twice at foods that, in the past, I could easily binge eat. Now everything has side effects, so I will say they are manageable. My doctor gave me a script for Zofran for the nausea, and that helps tremendously. For constipation, I take Senna, and at times when it was really bad, I used a pediatric suppository (Pedia-Lax), peppermints for sulfur burps! Don't eat too much; this med delays stomach emptying, so eat slowly and in small portions. I only drink water and want water!! I have so much energy! I have lost 27 pounds in 6 weeks. I am on 7.5 mg and can't wait to reach my goal!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I just started Zepbound 2.5mg two days ago and OMG, I cannot eat ANYTHING! I keep having waves of nausea that feels like I have a stomach virus! OMG people TRY THIS MEDICATION! My insurance wouldn't cover it, so I paid $1292 cash for the month's supply. I have been overweight my entire life, but THIS METHOD IS THE EASIEST WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT! I did weigh myself (after only 2 days), and I lost 8 lbs so far. Next week I am only going to take a half dose (1.25mg) because the nausea has been really awful. I am an actual patient and just wanted to share my progress... THIS MEDICATION IS TRIED AND TRUE! Good luck!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am a 76-year-old female and was prescribed Mounjaro 2.5mg beginning in July 2023 due to being prediabetic, 5'3'' and 186 lbs. After 3 months, my A1C was normal at 5.7 and all my blood work was within normal range. I had no side effects at all. As soon as Zepbound was approved and available for weight loss, I received a new prescription for Zepbound... still at the 2.5 dosage. It is now February 2024 and I am down to 136, which is my goal weight and a total weight loss of 50 pounds, or about one and a half pounds per week. My doctor said that I don't need to increase to a higher dosage unless 2.5 no longer quells my cravings. So far, the 2.5 works well for me. Now that I no longer want to lose weight, I wonder if I can reduce my weekly injection to once every two weeks. I seem to recall on the Mounjaro reviews that it is possible to do that and still avoid having cravings that could undermine my weight loss maintenance."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been taking Zepbound for 6 weeks now and I must say that I can really tell the difference in my eating and cravings. I started out with 2.5 mg, of course, and had no side effects. The 1st week or two, I struggled with 'food noise' and late-night snacking, eating potato chips, cookies, cupcakes, etc. By the 3rd week and up until now, I have to make myself eat something. I do not crave sweets at all. I'm up to 5 mg now, still no side effects - at least nothing that I can say the medication caused. I've had gastric sleeve 8 years ago, so I'm used to the 'if you eat too much you'll get sick' feeling. Had my gallbladder removed years before that. I even noticed that drinking alcohol has drastically changed. I was drinking Tequila daily - up to a fifth or more a week (no judgment, please), especially after a rough day at work, but now I can only sip from a small shot glass and may not even finish that. Some days I don't even think about drinking at all. This medication has been a blessing for me."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking Zepbound approximately 3 weeks ago, and this is after having the Gastric Sleeve a year ago. Due to becoming ill, I gained about 30lbs back and was not happy at all. So finally, my doctor prescribed Zepbound. The nausea is unreal, but I tolerate it. When trying to eat anything fried, it's a vomiting situation that's going to happen. But overall, I have lost about 4lbs in the 3 weeks with no exercise. I will try and start exercising with the next mg upgrade. Guys, please realize everybody's journey is different, and you will lose what your body is supposed to lose, so don't overdo it. Zepbound is working great for me at the moment."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking Zepbound for about 4 months and have dropped 40 pounds. For reference, I am 5’2” and was 192 when I started on the 2.5mg dose. I moved to 5mg after 4 weeks, and I’m still on 5mg (losing 1.5-2 lbs per week). I plan to stay on 5mg as long as I am losing weight. Side effects were tiredness and mild flu-like symptoms the first week, but nothing since. I am making better food choices and make sure I am in a calorie deficit. The medicine helps me feel fuller for longer and quiets food noise. Before I would constantly wander into the kitchen to snack, either due to boredom, stress, or whatever, but now I stick to mealtimes and stop eating when I am satisfied. Zepbound gives me the willpower I never had to resist cravings. This is the first time in my life I have been able to lose weight consistently, and it feels wonderful! If you are considering taking Zepbound, just do it! It is truly a miracle and 100% worth the cost."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "In the last 7 months, I went on a medically supervised, 1100-calorie per day diet to lose weight. I'm a 52-year-old female, 5'9'', and weighed 282 lbs. I managed to get down to 255 lbs and was feeling physically better, but constantly hungry, cranky, and miserable (also miserable to be around). After much discussion with my doctor (who was in favor of the medication), I started taking 2.5mg of Zep just before Christmas. After 3 weeks of use and despite many holiday celebrations, I'm down 4 lbs and all my cranky hanger is gone. I feel much better - all the noise in my head about food has disappeared, along with much of my appetite. I had constipation for the first couple of days after the first shot, but now I don't have any. My side effects have been minimal thus far, but I notice cravings and a bit of hunger coming back on days 5 and 6. I'm amazed at how easy this makes managing my diet, and it is so nice to not feel like a failure for once! I'm paying out of pocket with the savings card, but the $560 per month is so worth it."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on the medication since 1/19/2024. I did 4 injections of 2.5, then went up to 5 mg. I will be staying with this dosage for at least 2 months. I have dropped 18 pounds so far. I have nausea for a day or two after injection (still able to function at work). I still have about 30ish pounds to lose, but I no longer think about food. I am also so happy that my pain from fibromyalgia has gotten so much better. I don't have the inflammation all the time. I am 50 and in menopause, I have done the eat less, move more with little results. I am very happy with this medication. You still have to do the work (eat little sugar, high protein, exercise), but it is nice to see it actually working now!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "It works but side effects are too much for me. I started 2.5 injections and immediately felt nauseous and vomited every day. I never felt hungry or had the desire to eat. I could only eat a handful of grapes or a few bites of food, and it felt like it never digested. The constant taste of stomach acid/vomit in my mouth made me miserable. Food stayed in my stomach for over 24 hours, which was disgusting. It's like I could still taste it. The lack of any food made me feel exhausted. I missed 2 days of work. I lost 5-6 pounds in 1 week, but the side effects aren't worth it. I won't be continuing. That's a lot of money down the drain, $550 for a 1-week trial. If it weren't for the stomach not emptying and vomiting, I would keep taking it."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Was on Wegovy 2 months (PsA weight loss need) - horrible. Lost 18 pounds but got depression, which is odd for me as I have never had it. Once off it, about 3 weeks, I was fine. Decided to give ZepBound a try, a friend had great success with Monjouro (diabetic); when this came out, I was approved. Having a friend with experience really helped to get me through the first 3 weeks. They were rough. But I knew to stay away from meats for 5 days after shot and ANYTHING with fat or oil - it will not digest. 2 days after the shot are the hardest as far as digestion; eat very small, eat early or reflux will occur. My 'go to' is a cup of mac & cheese, half a bagel (plain) or berries (apples indigestible). No variety for me on this. Menthol cough drop a lifesaver - soothes my stomach. Sugars OK. Diarrhea from some foods, turned to some constipation after 2 months. Lost 27 pounds in 3 months, the fatigue is my worst side effect. Find your digestible foods, stick with them, exclusively."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am in my 50s and I stayed on the 2.5 for 2 months and just began the 5 mg today. I had gastric sleeve exactly a year before covid, lucky me, huh? Working from home, no gym, already had depression, joint, and severe back issues. It all did not mix with slowing down and sitting down. I gained half of the weight I lost, and the high cholesterol returned. I started Zepbound on Feb 17, 2024, and lost 18 lbs by my first check-up on April 1. Very fast. My cholesterol dropped significantly. I do not have high blood pressure, but it was down too. All blood work is great. The only side effect is constipation that I fixed with Miralax. There are no food cravings or noise in my head. I get full very fast, although I have to remind myself to eat. I have dry mouth; I bought sugar-free popsicles to deal with that. I have been sleeping better, although I stay up late due to the energy it gives me."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking Zepbound for seven and a half weeks now. I have lost 20 lbs! I am happy about that. I love how it takes that constant hunger I felt and cravings for junk are gone - that’s a miracle in itself. I did have some side effects of bloating, nausea, and sulfur burps and gas, but they do seem to taper off as your body adjusts to the dose. I am now up to a 5 mg dose but have opted to stay here for now because the nausea was increasing. I have no hunger at all. I will try it another month at 5 mg and if no relief in the nausea, I will ask to go back to the 2.5 dose. I continue to lose 2-3 pounds a week and it is adding up."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am 64, 5’2” tall and weighed 210 when I started Zepbound with 2.5 mg on January 15, 2024. I had no side effects with 2.5 and lost 12 pounds the first month. I went up to 5.0 ml and still no side effects but lost only 5 pounds that month. Went up to 7.5 and started having mild nausea, diarrhea, and indigestion. Lost another 10 pounds that month. I'm on week 2 of 10 ml. Side effects are much worse. I've lost a total of 35 pounds but in week two my stomach physically hurts, nausea is much worse and so is diarrhea. I think I will not be able to complete the next two doses on 10 ml so looking to drop down to 5.0 for maintenance and hopefully continued weight loss."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Zepbound 17 days ago. 64-year-old woman, 210 lbs, BMI 33.9, height 5 ft 6 inches. Insulin resistant, high blood pressure, and cholesterol, sleep apnea. No problem at all with the injection. I don't even feel it. I do bring it to room temperature before injecting. I was terrified of the potential side effects but thankfully haven't experienced any that aren't very manageable. I notice if I eat certain foods for dinner, they aren't digested by morning, so I avoid those. I might feel a bit of nausea from time to time but use ginger chews. I definitely feel full faster and eat less. I've only weighed myself once so far, on day 9, and was down 7 pounds. Frankly, I have been a little scared of the scale after failing so many different diets (Keto, Intermittent Fasting, South Beach, Weight Watchers, to name a few). I'd diligently stay on them for several weeks only to have the scale not budge, or sometimes my weight went up! So discouraging. I'm so hopeful with this new medication!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I’m an 6’4, 275 male, 62 years old - no diabetes or health issues, on no other meds. Obtained prescription via Dr and took first 2.5mg injection on Dec. 24. Lost 10 pounds with the first 3 shots, then Dr said I could go to 5mg (saved the last 2.5mg pen for future use) because weight loss had stopped. After starting mg, lost 2 pounds in 2 days - so combined weight loss using 2.5/5mg is now at 12 pounds in e weeks! No significant/terrible side effects except some constipation, intermittent fatigue, and minor chills at times (not a lot - could just be the cold weather). Ive yo-yoed up and down with weight for years. Because of my size, I can eat a lot of food - but this drug has significantly reduced my appetite and I have more energy overall. I can’t wait to see the results in a few more months. Zepbound has so far been perfect for me. I don’t mind the $550 price (with the Lilly savings card - has been hard to get CVS to make it work but that’s another story/nightmare)."
