Cosentyx (secukinumab) "Been living with psoriasis for over 20 years. Tried everything from pills to ointments, it help a little but nothing like cosentyx. I am still in the early stages, just finished my weekly shots and I already see a huge improvement. The itch is completely gone and I can see the redness is clearing on a daily bases. Even my arm hair over the plaque has started growing again. I am thankful that I have insurance as I hear it is quite expensive ..10k per dose....I strongly recommend this treatment, it might change your life, it did for me.."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "Truly a miracle drug for me. 50 yrs old. Had some plaques but not many. One large one on my right ankle. Got strep throat and it literally took over 90% of my body. Developed left hand joint pain and swelling. Got put straight onto Cosentyx (300 mg/2 pens). Been on it for 9 months now and I am entirely clear with zero side effects. It took a solid 3 months before it was entirely gone. But honestly, this particular biologic has been nothing short of a miracle for me."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I found Cosentyx to be very effective. Stubborn lesions on my shins cleared up after a few months which included a weekly loading dose which tapered off to once a month. However , I am very discouraged as I can no longer afford this med as my out of pocket mamimum has almost tripled since last year. So, I had to go off of it. Much to my chagrin, Medicare patients are not eligible for financial assistance! So my psoriasis is back with a vengeance!"

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I tried all sorts of medications and treatment for couple years such as UV light, steroid cream, HUMIRA, BUT when my new dermatologist prescribe me COSENTYZ after couple weeks of injections I could see some improvements and continued taking it. Now I'm all healed up"

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "After my second loading dose I had an allergic reaction. My face became swollen and I had to go to ER. My lungs felt heavy and was given epipen. I also became nauseous and vomited. While I hope this drug works for others it did not for me!"

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I used Enbrel for several years before switching to Humira. Like Enbrel, Humira worked great for a number of years until it's effect started to fade a little. My dermatologist suggested that I give Cimzia a try. After about a month I started to scab up in both ears and both eyes near the tear ducts. I've never had psoriasis in these locations and hoped that it would be temporary and go away. I was prescribed a two other medications to go with the Cosentyx, one for my ears and another for my eyes. Unfortunately after 4 months the ears and eyes have only gotten worse. I've realized that Cosentyx is not for for me. I start Cimzia next week. Really looking forward to looking and feeling normal again."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I am at week 17 and am 100% clear. I had a throat infection with high fever for 3 days at week 12, other than that no side effects. My joints feel tender, but it may be from the reduced swelling making them ‘looser’. Only other drawback is the $$’s for the med. I am still working to get coverage."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "The customer service I experienced trying to obtain the medication through their co-payment assistance program was at best overwhelmingly frustrating! The person that was supposed to be "assisting" with the process kept insisting that I give a non-existent "bin" number from my insurance card. I repeatedly tried to explain that it was not there and the representative just could not seem to believe me. Without the payment assistance the medication will cost me several hundred dollars a month. I almost decided to go ahead and pay out of pocket but reconsidered when the representative informed me that I had no other choice. This is not the only medication on the market for psoriasis and I refuse to support an organization that indicated they have you over a barrel!"

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I have psoriasis and I did not have PSA but my doctor said it was time to start something else because creams and ointments were no longer working. I have good insurance and my doctor started me on Cosentyx samples to start, Novartis was sending me samples at no charge said they would work with my insurance to get it approved, no problem they said if your insurance doesn't cover it you will be covered through us for 2 years. Go ahead and start they said, now that my insurance has declined it twice they want me to sign away all of my Federal Privacy Laws pertaining to my private health information or they will not send me anymore samples. I have 10 biologic shots in me at this time- how do you switch now?!"

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I have been on cosentyx for 6 years and it has been a life changer. Before starting cosentyx I tried everything for my psoriasis and joint pain nothing worked till my doctor told me about cosentyx. I was one of her first patients to be put on cosentyx and have been using it ever since awesome medication."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I have been on Cosentyx for 1 year. I view it as a miracle drug. Best yet. Most everything cleared up. I know have some coming back on my lower legs which is depressing because I would like to be in shorts all the time. I recently just had an infection in my leg that may have been related. I met with my doctor and I have decided to try Taltz for total clearance. Taltz reviews are an 8 while reviews here are a 9.2. I hope I made the right choice."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I have been on Cosentyx for 16 months and it has cleared about 80% of my plaque psoriasis but for the last 3 months I have had sinus issues that will not go away. It feels like I have a constant cold and I'm thinking of asking to switch to something else. It doesn't seem to clear the psoriasis on my feet either like Otezla did"

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I started having plaque Psoriasis since I was 15 years old. Now I am 40 and taking Cosentyx since 5/19. the medication is helping a lot. I have two spots on my scalp and temple. The temple area is about 95% clear but my scalp is about 70% clear now."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "Tried cosentyx and it worked great the first year, complete clear skin, no pain but It stopped working. Went with Otezla and it’s not working at all. Thinking of asking doctor to put me back cosentyx again but wonder if it would be effective second try. Anyone gone back to cosentyx after not using for a while?"

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "7 year sufferer, 2 1/2 years on UVB and laser therapy. I've only taken 2 shot and I'm noticing a huge difference already. My hands no longer look like I was in a fire and one leg is almost totally clear. So far, no side effects. I had instant side effects with Otezla-from the first dose. I'm giving this an 9 only because of the insurance issue. Even thou they approved Otezla, I'm having a hard time getting Cosentyx approved. Hoping this is my miracle cure."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "35 years of scalp misery. Only one month but feel my body changing slowly. Tried 6 other biologics for 18 months. Stelara lost most hair. Orezka depression diarrhea. Xeljanz nothing. Tremfya nothing. Humira nothing. But now, still have sores on head most painful. Feel a little better. Thanks to this medication"

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I've been on 300 mg shots once a week for six weeks. My plaques are a little thinner but no clearance. I'm also on a topical and mexotrexate. Humira and embrel didn't work either. I'm sad because I got my hopes up 2 years ago when I sought treatment."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I've had psoriasis for over 35 years last year it came on really bad like never before my first treatment was humira which I had a bad reaction so I stopped taking it. Then I went on Otezla for 8 months with no result then my doctor put me on cosentyx and I'm so grateful because in less then a month I've had such great result compared to 8 months of nothing this is such a miracle drug with no side effects. I'm one satisfied customer thank you."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I have mild to moderate psoriasis, mainly on my knees, elbows and lower legs. I started Cosentyx in May of 2019. Within two weeks my psoriasis was clear! BUT I noticed my sinuses were awful and I’ve never had sinus problems before and I just generally felt bad. I decided to stop cosentyx in September of 2019. Since then I’ve had the worst flare up ever in my life. My legs are covered and now my forearms and scalp. I regret getting on cosentyx and honestly wished I would have just stayed in the tanning beds."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "Completed 10 shots - the loading phase. Now into the 1 shot per month maintenance phase. But I’ve noticed little improvement to “maintain”. What I have noticed is that the scaling has stopped, replaced by dark - almost gray - Itchy bumpy skin where the P is, surrounded by itchy bumpy normal colored skin. Also since I’ve started the drug, I have itchy spots all over - even in places I never had P and still don’t have P."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "@ Thomas Sakowych RE:your comment on Cosentyx use for psoriasis. You stated on 10/31/15 that you had lost your big toe due to osteomyelitis infection. How is that related to the Consentyx? I have toe and nail psoriasis really bad and am beginning Cosentyx. Thank you"

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "It gave me horrible yeast infections and thrush in my throat. My existing psoriasis in my ears got 10x worse. In addition I had new psoriasis showing up in my nose, and the corners of my eyes, neither of which I’d ever had prior to Cosentyx. I couldn’t get off of this fast enough!"

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "I have Palmoplantar Pustular Psoriatic Arthritis, and since it is severe) I get treated w/ones meant for plaque psoriasis. After 7 months of Cosentyx, no change. In fact, flares happened 99% of the time immediately after injection. Disappointing."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "Cosentyx does not work with me. I’d be better off injecting saline solution. My psoriasis has more than tripled in coverage area. I was on Taltz before and within three days of the first injection I could tell a huge difference. But when covid came they couldn’t ship it to me in time and my psoriasis came back with a double punch. I have an appt with my doctor today. Hopefully he can help me out. I look like a leper."

Cosentyx (secukinumab) "It’s an amazing medicine. I’ve tried so many treatments for my psoriasis and they would work only at the beginning, I’ve tried the ointments, the UV lights, the pills and nothing was really good enough for me, plus they had bad side effects. But since I’ve started cosentyx my life got much better , I’m 99% cleared from psoriasis, with only small side effect ( running nose ) which I consider is nothing comparing to previous treatments .. I’m so happy now I feel like I’m a new person just started living my life."
