For Allergic Rhinitis "It definitely helps my sinus problems, but my eyes feel extremely tender and I can barely keep them open throughout the day. So it's not a solution for me. I'm probably just going to go through with 3-5 years shot treatment to rid myself of allergies once and for all. I don't want to take these random medications anymore."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Took fexofenadine to combat an allergy attack. Had heart pounding and tachycardia (100+ beats per minute, resting heart rate) for 25 hours. Horribly uncomfortable. Also felt somewhat sedated and not like myself. Will never take again."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Been taking the telfast brand now for three years and brilliant but they have now changed the production and the new tablets do nothing for me. They are in a different blister pack and different colour. Now have to go back to doctor to suggest another type."

For Urticaria "It is nearly one year I am suffering from Urticaria. It is true that MD's don't know what causes it. Allegra (Fexofenadine) it the only medicine that works for me. Again it works differently with other people. However, 180g morning and night is a recommended dose. This is expert dermatologist advised my GP for me. E45 itch relief (Urea Lauromacrogols) Also helps for immediate itch relief."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Have used fexofenadine seasonally, August through to the first hard freeze in my area. About three years ago, started using fexofenadine daily. An early AM 180 mg dosage. During the entire period, I have been under the supervision of an allergy specialist (doctor). Fexofenadine completely eliminates all hay fever type seasonal allergies. Period. About three years ago, I noticed that it also greatly reduces multiple food intolerances that substantially had limited my diet. Since then I have taken the drug daily. About two years ago, I noticed that my blood pressure was lowered from around 139 / 89 to 110 / 78. That effect continues when I use it."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I get allergy attacks often. Normally every day if I don't take anything. A friend gave me a large and a travel size container of this stuff. And I have to say, it has yet to do anything. Even when I take 2 of them. Nothing. Then I'll have an allergy attack that'll last days if left untreated. It is sad to say, I will not be buying this again, nor will I recommend it to anyone."

Allegra (fexofenadine) for Allergic Rhinitis "Works much better than other over the counter medicines. My allergy came back this time of the year, and this year got worse. My sneezing won't stop even to the point I get nosebleed. So I tried Allegra, it did suppressed all the sneezing for hours, however my nose still somewhat congested. When they mean "non-drowsy", they really mean it. I took other over the counter allergy medicines before, which they listed as "non-drowsy", but I constantly found myself falling asleep every now and then."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I have severe hayfever where my eyes swell to the point I can barely open them. I was given fexofenadine 180 mg from the dr which seemed to work for a little while, but now it barely touches me and my hayfever is worse then ever. Back to the dr I go Monday"

For Allergic Rhinitis "I find Fexofenadine HCL very effective against my allergies which seem to be a year-round problem, but I have also found it gives me a headache which doesn't go away with your average OTC medicines. I tried my mother's prescription, same dosage, different manufacturer, and no headache (weird) so I may have my Doctor to give me some but otherwise it's GREAT!"

For Urticaria "I get severe swelling (angioedema) from bee stings. The last sting was on my right hand which swelled up so bad I couldn't bend the fingers or use the hand at all. The forearm also swelled up. The doctor gave me fexofenadine and a strong antihistamine cream. Within two days the swelling was almost gone, and by the third day everything was back to normal, whereas usually it takes a week. Also, while taking the medicine I hardly had any itching from the venom. As I was using a cream in combination with the medicine I can't say it was all due to the fexofenadine but for sure it helped a lot. In addition, I had no side effects at all, which is unusual as usually I develop at least one or two when taking medicines. I will use this again if needed."

Allegra (fexofenadine) for Allergic Rhinitis "I started taking it in May 2021 and sometimes with montelukast for sinusitis but it did not work. Whenever I tried stopping it since last 3/4 months I have serious broncho spasms and breathing difficulty. I don't know what to do so I break down 180mg pill into 3 pieces and take two with 6 hour difference. Before spasms started at 4 pm but now it is all times. I am stuck and don't know what to do to taper it off. Is there any help anywhere on how to stop its withdrawal symptoms. I stopped montelukast and it didn't cause any issue. I had gastritis or swelling in stomach after I took a short period of low dose prednisone and in April a common antibiotic and 2 weeks aspirin. I started fexofenadine/allegra but it dint help me much. I have been only taking to not have withdrawal syndromes. I wish someone can share their experience on how to stop it. Thanks for reading."

For Allergic Rhinitis "As a nurse on a busy unit, I can not afford to be drowsy nor work effectively with intense ear and eye itchiness. At times, I would even get wheezy and have problems with my breathing. None of the meds worked and they all made me extremely drowsy. My new family doctor recommended this med, saying 'even fighter pilots can take this'. That was in UK, But in Canada, the highest dosage one can get is 120 mg, that's my one complaint about the med."

Allegra (fexofenadine) "This year has been the absolute worst for me. My allergies are ridiculous. The sneezing and itchy throat is my biggest issue. I am now using Allegra D every 12 hours. I am going to try adding the regular Allegra for 24 hours as well. Just can't take it anymore. Hoping this year is not repeated."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Well into the grass pollen season of June now, taking the 180mg of fexofenadine. So far they have done zero in helping me, and I am suffering terrible with the season allergy, Surely there is something better out there, in this day and age."

For Urticaria "I experienced facial hives for the first time at age 55, possibly due to a new face cream containing bee venom. I discontinued the face cream but found that changing products and even using no facial products still caused urticaria. I was prescribed 180mg Fexofenadine which cleared the urticaria immediately. My pharmacist said it was safe to take daily indefinitely. I have been taking this drug for six months now until my GP advised me to stop taking it today. I have also put on 8kg in weight in the last six months and did not realise that there may be a connection with the Fexofenadine. I’ve just read that antihistamines can increase one’s appetite. I had put the weight gain down to the menopause and poor will- power. My asthma has also got worse in recent weeks and my dreams are more vivid than ever. No idea if Fexofenadine is responsible. Let’s see how the next few months pan out."

"I have been using Fexo 180 for a few years for easing/treating bee stings. I am allergic to bees (systemic reaction of itchiness, redness, swelling all over) without restriction of the airways. Today I got stung on the throat, and taking directly 2 Fexo, followed by another on my way to the ED (30 minutes away), I managed to conquer the itchiness, facial swelling and redness. I also applied a cold bottle on the sting. An hour later (at the hospital) I felt pretty normal again. Fexo keeps working for me!"

For Allergic Rhinitis "ENT prescribed generic for symptoms of unknown allergy causing dizziness and stuffy nose. The dizziness disappeared after 1 year of daily treatment. I used to use a cortisone nasal spray as well but now only use saline nose spray for my nose stuffiness. It's so much better now so I only take 1 in the am and 1 in the PM. It's also helped my major allergy to mosquito bites. I recently got a bee (not wasp or yellow jacket) sting and upped it back to 4 a day and it did help me tolerate the itching and swelling. After 9 days I developed cellulitis because of the sting and the medication does nothing for that terrible itching. Only constant ice packs and major antibiotics are curing that."
