For Birth Control "I never leave reviews but I researched this A TON before going on it. There is more negative than positive, which scared me. This is the first form of BC I've been on, so I did NOT want any crazy side effects. I kept a log of weight, moods, nausea, etc. each day and there is barely anything to report. A little nausea at first, but nothing an afternoon ginger ale couldn't fix. My periods were already short and light and now they are even better. I've always had light breakouts before my period and I still somewhat do. It's easier for people to write about bad experiences vs. good, so I just wanted to include some positivity for anyone thinking about trying it."

For Birth Control "I was on Yaz for over 10 years. Started experiencing debilitating cramps during sex and after bowel movements about 2 years ago. Doc thought I may have endometriosis, but recommended I try a lower dose birth control first before doing any invasive testing. Let me tell you...I wish I knew about this pill a long time ago! Within the first week, my cramps subsided, my mood got increasingly better, and I enjoy sex now for the first time in a long time. I really hope there is someone out there that reads this amongst all of the negative reviews. I had zero negative side effects and have been on it for 6 months now. Taytulla saved my marriage! Insurance pays 100% as well with most carriers which is a nice added bonus :)"

For Birth Control "Don’t let reviews scare you off, I know that they are different for everyone but when I read these before I started taking it I was terrified. I love Taytulla! I went from horrible cramps and horrible heavy 10 day periods to basically 1-3 days with no cramps at all. At the beginning I did have my period twice a month but once my body adjusted it was great. I had 0 Weight gain just occasionally a little bloated. Periods so much better and I was very scared of the hormones making me crazy but they did not at all. This birth control is great"

For Birth Control "I wanted to chime in because most of the people writing reviews had bad experiences--I doubt most people who are happy with a drug will go online to write a review. I took Loestrin and Minastrin for several years (bioequivalent to Taytulla), loved them both, switched to Taytulla about a year ago, don't notice any difference. For me, they are fantastic birth control. The ONLY side effects I have are going from 8 day heavy periods to no periods, no spotting ever, and clearing up the cystic acne I would get during ovulation and my period. Total win for me. I tried many different kinds of OC in my twenties and really didn't like any of them, so feel so lucky to have found this in my late 30s. Everyone's body will respond differently."

For Birth Control "I had to switch from Minastrin 24 fe to Taytulla last month. Minastrin 24 FE is not covered by my insurance anymore. Taytulla is not either however there is a coupon which drops the price tremendously. Taytualla is the "bio equivalent" of Loestrin 24 FE. I used to take Loestrin 24 FE before they discontinued it so I felt a bit better about Taytulla as Loestrin 24 FE worked wonders for me. I have been on Taytulla for less than a month. My first week I experienced headaches, not sure if it was stress from work or the pill or both but they eventually subsided. My breasts have been tender but nothing crazy or painful. I'm starting on the pill where I will get my period so I will update at a later time and let you all know how that goes."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Taytulla for almost a year now and overall I do really like it! It did make my periods go away after five months on it which was very concerning initially. When I first started on it I had the lightest periods on my life for three or four days whereas without it I used to have heavy bleeding for five days then light for two days. When I first stared taking it I did experience some pretty noticeable hot flashes but they only lasted for maybe two days. Also on the mental health side of things I was actually put on this medicine for PMDD and it has helped TREMENDOUSLY. I have not had any depression related symptoms at all."

For Birth Control "So I shared how much I loved Taytulla after a month of being on it, and I’m now here to update you on month 6 of my experience! First off, this BCP was the first I had ever been on, so I was definitely nervous at the start. It never gave me weird hormones, depression or anxiety like other people have said. I did not gain weight, my acne has cleared up & I'm overall loving how I feel (plus I’m not pregnant!) definitely give Taytulla a try...I was very hesitant but I really love it"

For Birth Control "This was the first time I tried birth control and it was actually awesome. I’ll now be trying a new pill which I’m a little worried about because I feel like it won’t compare to Taytulla. The side effects I noticed were larger breasts, shorter and lighter period and fewer if any cramps at all. It was probably the best pill you can get with the fewest side effects"

For Birth Control "I’ve been taking Taytulla for almost 2 years now and I love it. I don’t plan on having children simply because I enjoy my freedom and right to enjoy sex without bringing a child to this world. If I do want kids in the future I want to adopt. This birth control has got rid of my period (a painful and debilitating one) and my chemical imbalance is somehow.... balanced. My only complaint is I do retain water weight and have gained about 10-15lbs. But with exercise and eating right you will be just fine. Disclaimer: I do not workout nor eat well hehe I only have one life don’t judge me and yes I know that sounds contradicting leave me be. 10/10"

For Birth Control "I have two teenage daughters on Taytulla and they both really like it. No issues other than the initial adjustment of some spotting with the first pack.. maybe a little more emotional for the first 3 packs, but nothing more than typical PMS. As a mom I read all these reviews and got a little freaked out. I wanted people to know that this pill seems to work for them and they will continue to take."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this pill Taytulla for 1 1/2 months. After 2 weeks acne was becoming present. The acne started to get so bad that I didn’t want to leave the house. I started noticing I was tired all the time, my mood swing were frequent, I wasn’t myself. I missed my period entirely which I was told by my doctor may happen. Two days ago I was feeling light-headed, I got hot flashes, I didn’t have an appetite and I felt extreme anxiety for no reason. I was terrified because I didn’t know what was happening to me. I had been on another birth control for 14 years (no issues) up until I had a baby two years ago then I got on this. Worst decision. I stopped taking this halfway through the pill pack. The side effects are horrible. Based on my experience and these reviews I would never recommend."

For Birth Control "Started taking this pill Taytulla because it was a lower dose than my normal birth control. In the beginning I had started bleeding for a couple of weeks. It was ok, I could deal with it. Then after a while I started getting yeast infections. Back to back. As soon as I finished clearing up one yeast infection, I got another one right after. The only thing I had put into my body was the pill. I felt like I was going crazy. I would stay up all night, unable to sleep due to random anxiety building up in me. As soon as I stopped taking Taytulla, all these problems completely ceased. I would not recommend Taytulla to ANYONE. Take your chances."

For Birth Control "I took Taytulla for around 8 months and honestly have NO idea how I did it for that long. I went from Minastrin to Taytulla due to insurance issues and had THE WORST transition. I had severe depression, my anxiety was worse than it already is to the point where I would cry all the time, I had insane mood swings, I was ALWAYS angry, headaches, ACNE which I have never had in my life, and I gained weight. The depression was so bad to the point where I was suicidal. After that I switched back to Minastrin and my life was so much better. DO NOT TAKE THIS!!!!!!!!"

For Birth Control "I have never been on birth control and was always kind of opposed to it given the horror stories of side effects I had heard of. However, my gyno talked me in to trying Taytulla. I was so nervous to try it, especially after reading some of these reviews, but honestly I am so glad I did. I just finished the first month and so far the only side effect I've noticed is an increase in appetite. That's it! No nausea, mood changes, headaches, or anything like that. There was one day with some random, very minimal spotting. Right now I'm on my first period since starting Taytulla and it is drastically a lighter flow, which is really nice. Another perk I've noticed is clearer skin. It has only been one month, so I really hope things continue this way and no worse side effects present themselves. Based on my experience so far I would definitely recommend it, but it seems it's different for everyone."

For Birth Control "I’ve been taking Taytulla pill for about four months now and my anxiety is unbearable, I did not realize it was related to this birth control until reading all the comments about anxiety. I feel as if I can’t breath and my heart will explode, my period on the pill is lighter but it is NOT worth it."

For Birth Control "Taytulla is the 6th birth control pill I've tried. It's the only one that has stopped the constant bleeding and horrendous pain caused by the fibroids inside my uterus. However, it's not without side effects. I haven't had a period in 8 months and I'm not pregnant. So far I've found no one else who experienced this while on this medication, so there's that."

For Birth Control "I follow a very natural, clean, plant based lifestyle and the idea of using hormonal birth control scared the LIFE out of me. I didn’t want to get pregnant anytime soon and the idea of an IUD was out of the question so I decided to give this birth control pill a try. I have been on it for over a month now and have ZERO side effects. I got my period this month, lighter than usual. I know I have only been on it for 1 month and have only finished 1 pack, but I am truly happy with this BC and glad I gave it a try! I am already onto my second pack. I had no side effects. Don’t let the scary reviews scare you away! I was SOOO hesitant to try and so glad I did. Give it a chance for 1 month. I recommend this BC and hope that the second pack continues to show me no side effects!!"

For Birth Control "I'm very happy with this medication. I couldn't find anyone to fill my RX without having to order it. It was prescribed to me in Dec 2016. I went home to research and saw it had literally been out for one month. My new doctor (I moved cross country) recommended it when I mentioned many BC pills make me physically ill (upset stomach, dry mouth, etc.) and that I have very painful periods. Also, I mentioned I had been taking seasonique with frequent breakthrough bleeding. She said the hormones in this were different, and that it was a gel pill. She seemed excited about it, so I agreed to try it. I love it. I seem to have less breakouts and I can take 3 packs in a row to skip periods with ZERO spotting. I feel absolutely no side effects. Great!"

For Birth Control "My daughter is 31 and started on Taytulla 6 months ago. Two weeks ago she experienced right side numbness while taking a shower before work. She was rushed to the hospital at 6:15 am with right side paralyses and yellowing whites of her eyes. By 8:30am they came to us with her CT results. She had a 3cm tumor on the motor skills portion of her brain which all the doctors here in Tennessee said was inoperable. The only change in her medications and environmental factors was the introduction of Taytulla. Leading up to her diagnosis she suffered terrible mood swings, anxiety attacks and night sweats. After further investigation of this medication you can see that 3.3 out of 100000 developed some type of liver tumor. The greed in this country has made it acceptable to give a 3.3 a death sentence if it works for 99997 women. This is unacceptable in my book! Shame on you!!!"

For Birth Control "This pill is awful! Wish I would've read these reviews before starting. THIS IS ALL TRUE-- Depression, anxiety, headaches, nightmares, nausea, weight gain, sore breasts, tired all the time. I've only been on it 3 days (just threw away the pack) and very in touch with my body. I knew immediately that this was the cause of all these negative symptoms. I will NEVER ingest this pill again!"

For Birth Control "Update: I previously wrote a review for Taytulla that I thought was befitting at the time. So fast forward, I’m 6 months in and I swear I’m starting to have nausea, vomiting, headaches, mood swings, NO SEX DRIVE whatsoever, and I’ve gained 17 pounds. Now the funny thing about the weight gain is that I follow a strict diet, work out at 4 times a week, and walk on average 12 miles a day on my job. I constantly feel bloated and I’m not doing anything different than I was when I first started them. My doctor said it’s water weight and retention, but carrying around the extra weight is making me feel bad physically, as well as being a mental challenge when I feel like I’m working out and watching what I eat is all in vain. Just know that these symptoms can hit you at any time."

For Birth Control "This birth control is an amazing match for me. I started this pill 4 months ago and was honestly scared - lots of my friends told me about their weight gain, anxiety, and sudden waves of sadness. This pill has had no impact on my emotional state and I personally have lost 16 pounds (with no lifestyle change.) Overall my periods are really light, I’m happy, and protected ! Love this pill."

For Birth Control "I have been on Taytulla for 2 years now to control Endometriosis. It is a great alternative to the hysterectomy that several Drs have recommended. I've had light spotting maybe 3 times in 2 years. With 2 having been these last 2 months. I see several complaints about them causing mood swings. It's a hormone. It will do that. They don't work if you don't take them regularly which means the same time every day. Nothing is a miracle drug. If it doesn't work for you, talk to your doctor and try something else. There are far cheaper medications than this one. However, I am happy with this product. It's pretty much the same outcome as the depo shot and this doesn't hurt my bone mass "

For Birth Control "After reading so many negative reviews. I have decided to come back and UPDATE my experience on Taytulla. First and foremost, please please give your body at least 3 months to cope when starting a new pill. This birth control has been nothing short of amazing. Goodbye acne. Goodbye cramps. Period only lasts 2 days and its barely enough to have to wear a panty liner. The first few days out of a new pill pack gives me very mild headaches but hey I'll take that over painful cramps. I have been taking for just over 4 months now and Taytulla has changed my life for the better!"

For Birth Control "This was my first time on birth control. My first 3 months I had this horrible nausea that caused me to stop eating, I adjusted the time I was taking the pill to see if that would do anything, instead of taking it in the afternoon I started taking at night before I went to bed. This helped dramatically, except when I started a new pack the first week during sometime in the week I got this horrible nausea that caused me to not be able to eat or go to school, it also caused my stomach to be very sensitive for the rest of the day. Regardless I continued to take it and these last 3 months have been the worst of my life. School has been very stressful and the pill has only made things worse I have never in my life had bad anxiety or depression, I’m a very positive person but school along with this pill has cause extreme anxiety and depressive episodes for me. For the first time in my life I had mental breakdowns wherever I went, cry myself to sleep at night, and have really dark thoughts"
