For Skin or Soft Tissue Infection "My husband was admitted to hospital for sepsis the blood culture showed Klebsiella pneumoni. Then he was sent home with a pic line and the IV med IVANZ. His strength deteriorated and by the 5 th day he could not stand up and was hallucinating. I found this was a side effect of IVANZ and the drug was stopped but he hallucinated severely for a week and could not walk. His Doctor said he has had several patients that responded this way to this drug. This was a horrible experience closer monitoring of the side effects of this drug is needed!!!"

For Skin or Soft Tissue Infection "This drug Invanz saved me. Admitted with a fever of 103F, abdominal pain, unable to urinate. Started IV treatment with another drug. Culture came back positive for klebsiella (ESBL) and was put on Ivanz. I began three courses in hospital and finished at home. I had a fourth course pre-op and post-op."
