CeraVe (emollients) for Dry Skin "Used CeraVe Daily PM moisturiser. Beyond Terrible!!!!!!!!! Its crazy after reading so many negative reviews that this is still recommended as a "low allergen" "non commodegenic" product. A bit of back story- I'm 34 years old, have mildly sensitive skin but never suffer from pimples or pigmentation issues as am very strict with my diet:i.e no sugar, no vegetable oils, no grains, no dairy etc. Have been using this product for 3 weeks and every day my skin is getting worse and worse! My face has become incredibly red on forehead and cheeks and have developed quite severe pimples all over forehead. Absolute disaster of a product"

Gold Bond Ultimate Healing (emollients) for Dry Skin "I used the Gold Bond Ultimate Healing product and I got a rash and itching to the point of bleeding on my hands, arms, chest, neck and face. It was a terrible reaction to the product. My 103 yr. old Mother used it and experienced similar reactions to it. After the reaction, I immediately washed it off my Mother and me. She healed after about a week and its taken over a month for my skin to heal. I couldn't go out and socialize with friends because I looked terrible. But, my hands and arms are sensitive and my hands and arms are no sensitive. I can no longer wash dishes with dish soap with them getting itchy. The skin on my hands looks rough and the texture is not the same as it was before I used GB lotion. I've never had a reaction to lotions and creams before using the Gold Bond."

Dermasil Lotion (emollients) for Dry Skin "I love this cream! I have extreme dry skin on my body. It itches--terrible. This is the only cream that gives me relief. I apply it daily all over and problem solved!! It's affordable. I get it at the Dollar Store. I wish it smelled a bit better, but I can live with it because it works so well."

Biafine (emollients) for Dry Skin "I got a tattoo on my lower leg. An area of it that was directly over my shin bone became an open wound after the skin peeled off. My derm gave me samples of Biafine and told me to apply it twice daily. I am amazed at the healing after only 3 days of application! The cream soothes the pain and promotes healing rapidly! I think whoever invented it should receive an award as I have never had such a rapid and significant response to a medication. I highly recommend it.....ask your derm about it. ( P.S.- I am an RN with 35 years of experience.)"

Blistex Lip Balm (emollients) for Dry Skin "I bought Blistex orange mango blast while going into work because it was on sale for $1.99 and now I guess I know why... I used this product at work about 2 times over 3 hours and my lips started to burn and turned bright red I put some ice on them and nothing, now this morning I woke up with lips that are super swollen and hives at the bottom! I’m very angry that this has happened to so many people and you can still buy this product"

K-Y Jelly (emollients) for Vaginal Dryness "I am 65 and have been using KY turn up the heat lube. The first time it was wonderful for both my husband and myself .. but since then each time I use it , I have light pink blood after wiping myself after peeing. I finally realized it has to be from this gel. Maybe not for over 65 group"

Blistex Lip Balm (emollients) for Dry Skin "I opened a new tube of the Blistex Fruit Smoothies on Sunday. I have gotten up the last 3 days with extremely swollen, red, burning lips. I'm not sure which ingredient is the problem. I have used Blistex products for years with no side affects. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE BLISTEX FRUIT SMOOTHIES!!"

Jergens (emollients) for Dry Skin "PRODUCT: JERGENS NATURAL GLOW WET SKIN MOISTURIZER After my first application, my skin appeared more tan-I was happy with the results. After my 2nd application, I developed itchiness around my neck, back of my neck and the inside of my forearms. I’m now day 5 after the 1st application and the itchiness is extremely severe and feels extremely tight. I now have large dried blotchy spots with the appearance of red, old-looking, wrinkled skin. I now have to avoid the outdoors due to the burning and itching that’s intensified with perspiration because it’s too much to bear. I am now seeking medical attention. This product should’ve never made “the shelf” with the slightest possibility of causing a reaction such as this. I’m left with old-looking, wrinkly, itchy, red skin and now facing doctor bills."

Replens (emollients) for Vaginal Dryness "I used replens vaginal moisturisor a day before sex (once every couple of weeks) in addition to once a week post menopausal application of estrace cream, I've had no problem with replens and good results. Replens content is mostly oils. Much better than vaginal lubricants! Im wondering why women are having problems."

Replens (emollients) for Vaginal Dryness "I wish I had read this prior to buying 2 tubes of Replens. I have cancer and cannot use estrogen creams. This came highly recommended but wow the results. Same as everyone else white wet tissue discharge. So embarrassing. This should not be on the market. There was not one favorable comment on this site."

CeraVe (emollients) for Dry Skin "For years I've tried to use Cerave cream because it's reccomemded by dermatologists, but every single time I apply it, it burns and turns my face red. I've tried the moisturising cream, the lotion and the hydrating cleanser too. They all burn and sting horribly, leaving my face red, sore and splotchy. I also end up with more clogged pores and uneven skin texture too. I am surprised at how many other people have noticed these horrible effects, I thought it was only me."

I was actually frightened I’d left a tampon up my vg there is that much white clumps coming out, to the point I’ve had to insert my fingers and scoop it out . Replens (emollients) for Vaginal Dryness "I REALLY wish I had read the reviews here before I tried Replens. I have been fighting recurrent BV, and then what I thought was a yeast infection due to the antibiotic (used Monistat for 3 days), but that causing my problems - it was Replens, which I was using for dryness. Got exactly what others have talked about here - stuff that looks like wet toilet paper in clumps. I stopped immediately! Hoping to find another product that moisturizes without this effect."

Gold Bond Ultimate Healing (emollients) for Dry Skin "Omg I used this gold bond ultimate healing and had the worst experience ever. My entire body felt like it was on fire, the itching was at 10+. It took me a few days to figure what was going on as I was actually using this lotion to stop the itch not realizing that this was the cause. I found out when I was trying to moisturize my feet and they flared up to a 10 immediately. Also I cannot do my dishes as my hands are extremely sensitive. So disappointed with this product."

CeraVe (emollients) for Dry Skin "I have sensitive skin and thought I would try CeraVe moisturizing lotion as I had read good things about the brand. It didn't seem to cause any problems initially but I have now developed an itchy, inflamed red rash over my entire face. There is nothing on the packaging to suggest it could be irritating to some people. I will not use it again."

Replens (emollients) for Vaginal Dryness "According to the instructions, "a few days after first using Replens you may notice an off white residue (which may be dry and bitty). This is natural and is the result of Replens cleansing the vaginal passage. The vagina is normally self-cleansing, but when you have been dry for some time, discarded cells tend to accumulate. Replens simply clings to these cells and flushes them away." My experience did differ a bit from this description. I am not menopausal and as far as I know I have a normal amount of discharge, so I believed my vagina was self-cleansing just fine. I have mild PCOS without diabetes, and I am using Nuvaring, which I did not remove when I used Replens right before bed a few days ago. The next morning, I had this huge amount of white stuff, and worried I may have developed a yeast infection. The next 2 days I had a few more small chunks, and a LOT of clear watery fluid. I will use once a week and see if it gets "less and less" as it says in the instructions."

Bag Balm (emollients) for Dry Skin "I have psoriasis on both elbows and one leg, I have tried every thing under the sun, and meds from the doctor for two years. I went in a store and thought heck, it can't hurt to try this, I did and within a day of using the Bag BaIm was clearing up the psoriasis. This is now my new best friend. So far so good on day two now, I am itch free and dry skin is going away."

Mederma (emollients) for Dry Skin "I seem to be the rare exception, but I used mederma for approximately five days, and by day five I had a golf ball size round area that looks like millions of raised angry red bumps. They are very rough to the touch, and so far, after stopping all product application have not reduced in size, but the redness is more a bright pink now."

Eucerin (emollients) for Dry Skin "I bought Eurecin because some Dr said it is good for dry skin and eczema. I noticed that I've been having itch all over my body with some rash/little bumps, for weeks. I couldn't even sleep. It was so bad! I thought, I had bed bugs in my bed or I ate something that triggered some unknown allergies. But, nope! After observing for days of using the product vs another cream/lotion, I figured out that Eurecin was the culprit. So sad and mad about it, at the same time."

Neutrogena Soap (emollients) for Dry Skin "Beware of Neutrogena French milled soap in hotels. This is not hypoallergenic! Massive skin rash requiring Benadryl and topical steroids for 2 days. Cannot find out what is in this but I’ve never had it happen with anything else."

CeraVe (emollients) for Dry Skin "I tried CeraVe at the urging of my mother who felt that it was a good lotion for hydration, however, my personal experience was that it was a bit greasy and did not soak into the skin well and definitely didn't last very long before needing to be reapplied. I bought it and used it once. I only kept the bottle in case my mother comes over and requests it. Otherwise I would have just thrown it away. Deeply disappointed."

CeraVe Facial Moisturizing (emollients) for Dry Skin "I bought this cream with hopes of replacing an oil I was using that seemed to be clogging my pores. I applied the lotion before I went to bed and when I woke up in the morning my entire face was swollen and burned with a rash. I would NOT recommend this product. I have discontinued use of the cream however an still trying to get my skin back to its natural state."

Replens (emollients) for Vaginal Dryness "I used 4 applications of Replens and had a bit of blood on the applicator after the second time, a spot of blood after the third, and a small bit of blood when I wiped after the fourth. I also had 2 1/2 days of abdominal cramping on and off. I had a complete total hysterectomy 11 years ago. I phoned the Replens company on the box and reported the issue and funny enough they said they never had any complaints. They told me to stop it immediately and the complaint would be looked at. I am also going to report it to the FDA. Everyone should report it. Hope I haven’t damaged myself!"

Replens (emollients) for Vaginal Dryness "I am 53 and have vaginal dryness. I bought this...started it on a Friday...every day I started feeling worse. Sunday I had abdominal cramping, bloating and feeling like I had a UTI. It is now Tuesday and I am just starting to feel a little better...but now I am a little itchy. UGH! I never thought buying this would lead to all of this."
