For Anxiety "I have severe GAD since my teens but it really hit me harder in my early 20's, I had been taking generic Valium for 8 yrs then got into a psychiatrist at first he switched me over to Xanax 1mg 3X daily which works for immediate panic attacks but would wear off very quickly and I would wake up first thing in the morning with my heart racing and had to take 1, I told him this and got switched back to my original dose of Valium which lasts all day, 1 and a half 10mg in the morning and the same at night and I no longer had to wake-up first thing for my meds, and they pretty much prevent my panic attacks unlike the Xanax.I can function just fine and work with people now that I'm at the right dose and not be self conscience great medication!"

For Muscle Spasm "I had severe neck tightness 5 days ago and alleve did not help. I finally fell asleep but the next day I could not move my head more than an inch without severe shooting pain. Even texting hurt - the nurse where I live prescribed Baclofen which did not help at all-still shooting pain, no movement. So I called a surgeon and he said Valium is the best for muscle spasms. I asked the nurse practitioner to prescribe it but she would not, (no controlled substances") These strong drugs are for a reason!! I was in excruciating pain till I got the valium and acetaminophen filled (from another county) the pain and tightness noticeably lessened by the end of the day. The next day, yesterday, I did not need the pain reliever, just the valium. It is the BEST for muscle spasm and I only took half a dose today. I will be saving them for when i have another serious ailment and doctors won't prescribe!!!"

For Anxiety "I used to be on valium back in the 90s when it was easier to get for panic attacks and ptsd and when the narcotics laws changed I got off of them because my family doctor wouldn't give them to me. Panic attacks started happening again when I have a thyroid disorder. Now I'm seeing a psychiatrist to get them again and they have given me part of my life back. Before seeing psychiatrist my Dr tried me on multiple different ssri and none of them work. And ssri drugs have me ED. Valium has only 1 side effect to me and that is just being drowsy for an hour or so. Valium is a life saver."

For Alcohol Withdrawal "I have been taking valium for the last 10 years. Before I was a raging alcoholic and always put myself in danger because of the effects of the alcohol,it should be illegal because it is a terrible drug, my life has been normal for the past ten years now and I have a happy family thanks to one little pill."

For Anxiety "Valium is the best drug for me for spasms in my neck and shoulder, and for anxiety as well. It is rated the highest on drugs.com. Many consumers think it is effective. Some of the best medications are being blackballed by the DEA and the CDC. Patients don't believe the propaganda against Valium. It is not sedating for me and is one of the most effective medications I have taken. The pain clinic might tell you there are better drugs for muscle spasms. Patients don't believe a lot of what pain clinics say. The pain clinic employees should concentrate on treating pain, not causing pain and not trying to police patients. They have hurt many patients, and that is unacceptable."

For Anxiety "Bless the doctor who finally saw this drug is an anodyne for me. I have arterio-venal necrosis, which means my joints are collapsing due to death of tiny blood vessels, a very painful condition causing difficulty of walking and use of the arms. Valium not only relieves the pain, it also calms the crippling fear of falling which keeps me from progressing with my physical therapy after the hip replacement which is finally got be beginning to walk again after more than 2 and a half years on the Rollator. It allows me to sleep, it blots out social anxiety, and it prevents nausea and muscle spasms. I call it my anodyne...it is THE medicine for me. If I am addicted to it, so be it. I'm addicted to having liveable quality of life! Thank you Diazepam!"

For Meniere's Disease "I've suffered with Meniere's/vestibular neuritis for over 37 years and it has cast a dark shadow over my quality of life. The only medicine that has helped me to live with the episodes (loss of balance, vertigo, dis-equilibrium) has been valium. Because valium suppresses the central nervous system, it helps me to cope."

For Anxiety "Other than drowsiness for about 45 minutes after taking it, great medicine! Works in like 10 minutes, so if I feel a panic attack coming on I take my dosage and before I know it I'm calm. It enables me to go into mass public places and can go into crowded restaurants with my family. Valium has given me a huge part of my life back. I know most doctors are against it because dope heads have abused this type of drug. You can only get it from a psychiatrist now but it saved my social life so I see the shrink monthly! Thanks valium"

For Anxiety "Used for 17yrs, worked well at first but needed increased doses as I became tolerant, held the same dose for past 7 yrs then suddenly became acutely anxious and agoraphobic dose was increased again but only result was awful unsteadiness on my feet. Finally was told that some people get withdrawal symptoms even whilst taking the same dose and it seems that is the problem I have, never been this ill in my life and now i face having to taper off it which scares me, my experience and opinion is it was fine short term but long term caused me more problems than it ever solved."

For Muscle Spasm "This medication works as intended with minimal side effects. Relieves my muscle spasms and takes away the nervousness and bad attitude caused by back pain (not back ache). I take Percocet with Valium. "

For Muscle Spasm "It is the only thing that works for me when my back flares up and still allows me to function mentally so I can work. I’ve taken it off and on as needed during flare ups for years with no side effects or withdrawal when I discontinue. I don’t leave home without it just in case!"

For Anxiety "I can’t say this medicine Is horrible for everyone but I can say that I got the unlucky end of the stick. This medicine actually made my anxiety worse! I literally felt like I was losing my mind. I couldn’t sleep at night because my fight or flight response wouldn’t stop rushing through my body and It made me have horrible panic attacks. It got to a point I had to call the EMS because my heart rate went up to 170....I was excited to try the medicine from the reviews because I wanted the relief and calm mind but I will never take this medicine again."

For Muscle Spasm "I'm a 32 yr young woman, who at the age of 11 was diagnosed with a severe spine disorder (scoliosis), it was also affecting my vertebra, they were turning in causing my ribs to crush my lungs. My doctor said I had a year or so to live. I was slowly suffocating. So at 12 yrs old I had 2 herrington rods put in on each side of my spine. From neck to tush! The pain then wasn't to bad, that I remember, but now at 32 some days I can't even move (WINTER-IDAHO). But 2 yrs ago I started using diazepam and at first I slept a lot, but as time has passed I have a great life. I myself cannot play sports but I can sit on a metal bench for 3 to 4 hours and enjoy watching my 4 boys play sports. Take as prescribed and tell your doctor if it's not helping."

For Muscle Spasm "During my cancer treatment, valium was prescribed to me for muscles spasms. It only took about 10 minutes to start working, it has done the job very well for me. I've been able to do my physical therapy with minimal pain , and soon hope to be pain-free!"

For Anxiety "There is nothing to treat anxiety like Valium/Diazepam - that the Federal government and the states issued laws that put a chilling effect on doctors to prescribe it is so unfortunate. They legalize marijuana and create a black market for excellent medications for anxiety/insomnia.They have created a black market for these medications at a time when Fentanyl overdose is rampant in these United States ."

For Anxiety "I don’t understand why this wonderful drug is now being demonised. This drug and other benzos have helped me no end. These drugs are super important to lots of people especially in these COVID times. If a drug helps me have a better more normal life it should be my right to have this drug as it’s my body, just like if someone wants to lend there body to science or donate that’s fine why should this be no different. Doctors took an oath anxiety is at an all time high due to pandemic I feel it’s needed more than ever. Not just mother’s little helper anymore but fathers, sons and daughters alike."

For Alcohol Withdrawal "This is the second time I am taking diazepam for alcohol withdrawal. It helps me relax, be less anxious, stopped my trembles, overall it helped a lot. I do feel quite tired though, I hope I will be able to fall asleep. The pills saved my day. I found 5 mg to be too small a dosage for me. Good luck out there!"

For Muscle Spasm "You know perfectly well this drug is HELL and the withdrawal of it is obscene if you even make it. How DARE Doctors not let patients know this up front. It is criminal. For years this withdrawal issue has been known and HIDDEN from patients and even doctors. It has ruined my life and many others. MILLIONS of others. SPEAK UP."

For Anxiety "This drug almost killed me, as did the psychiatrist who prescribed it. In early 2017 I started with this new doctor who completely changed my psych regimen after a difficult move and sudden loss of a sister to a drug overdose. He started me on low dose Valium. It did work, but right away problems were showing. Soon enough I was hooked and popping these like life savers. My wife expressed concern about it, and what did the doctor do? He increased the dosage and quantity. Soon I was getting through the day with up to thirty pills. I experienced multi organ failure earlier this summer, and subsequent heart failure. My primary doctor recommended a new psychiatrist, who was shocked at my regimen. He said he wouldn’t see me until I had beaten the addiction. It was tough. He has since switched me to buspirone, although maxed out at 60mg. Valium may work in the short term, but just don’t do it. It’s a destroyer."

For Anxiety "This is a wonderful medicine for anxiety it works within 20 mins and lasts for a long time because of its long half life. However if you are suffering from depression, especially clinical depression I would not recommend taking this. It will worsen your depression symptoms if taken too often. If you started an SSRI antidepressant it can be used early on to help with some side effects like increased anxiety in the first few weeks on the medication."

For Anxiety "When I finally got a doctor to prescribe Valium it was a life changing start. I always had social anxiety and was very introverted. After being on Valium I quickly moved up in my company because I could interact and socialize with no fears or anxiety. After a few years I was in charge of up to 50 workers and always got good feedback from customers, and professionals related to our work and was able to focus and enjoy dealing with many different personalities. The only problem was getting very sleepy while driving. "

For Meniere's Disease "I have had vertigo/Menieres' since 2003 and Valium seems to be the only medicine that helped me. It takes the edge off of the dizzy feeling the frustration that goes alone with it. My experience is different than most, in that I get dizzy when chopping veggies, washing dishes, sometimes driving on roads with hills (there aren't many where I live thank God!) But it comes and goes and happens almost every day. I think I would probably freak out if my doctor said I couldn't take it any more. "

For Muscle Spasm "I take 5mg as needed at bedtime. I have severe muscle spasms, shoulder, and neck pain. I use aleve, advil, and diclofenac and still have pain. I was waking up with terrible tension headaches before using this. I only take it when I feel the tension at night. Regarding other comments on addiction - I have taken benzos for YEARS (on/off and never daily) and I have never become addicted. If taken only as needed, it's a great drug."

For Anxiety "Valium (Xanax) I do not recommend these to anybody with an addictive personality. But 1 and 1/2 a day and you will feel, normal and confident and back to your old self, but DO NOT ABUSE. They generally take up to an hour so let them kick in fist. Best wishes folks "
