"Isibloom wasn’t bad at all for me. My skin got very clear. However I would get a little nauseous at times and didn’t eat as often. It didn’t affect me much emotionally. So I’d recommend it. I had to get off because my insurance didn’t cover it anymore"

"I have been on Isibloom for 4 months now, and I have not had any major side effects. I am 21 years old so it might be because of my younger age , but I did experience nausea and headaches for the first 3- 4 days. I was up a couple times though out the night because I take them right before bed. Other than that, my periods are so much better now, nothing compared to as before. I had my periods for 6-7 days with strong menstrual cramps to where I would need a heating pad and lots of Ibuprofen. Now on the pill, my periods are MAX 4 days and it is super light with minimal to no cramps. I am content with this pill and I do not plan to change out this contraceptive pill."

"I have been on Isibloom since around October of 2019 (a year and 8 months). I got prescribed the pill through the Pill Clubs online service. My first year was phenomenal! However, around November of 2020, I started having terrible constant nausea. I took several pregnancy test that all came out negative. Around the same time, my depression became a lot worse, my anxiety was through the roof, everything made me cry, I had a never ending yeast infection, and I lost all my libido (+ intercourse became painful and uncomfortable). Last week, I stopped my birth control to let my period come (it’s been a few months) and all of a sudden I feel like myself. My libido is back, I no longer feel bloated or nauseous, and my mood swings evened out. My period ended 6 days ago and I’ve been back on the pill, I’m back to feeling completely terrible! Tonight I’m extremely nauseous and can’t even sleep. I’m going to stop taking it!"

"I was really excited to start taking birth control. I was almost 19, in a relationship and wanted to be safe. Plus there were other benefits to taking birth control such as lighter/regular periods and improvement in acne. When I first started taking Isibloom, I felt myself getting nauseous sometimes and cramps in my pelvic area. About a week after I started I had gotten a cramping feeling in both of my calves, so I had to take ultrasounds to make sure there was no clotting. Nothing there and I continued to use it. I noticed myself getting more sensitive and very irritable, but I figured it was a side effect. I would get sad for no reason. I would get really anxious sometimes. I disconnected with a lot around me, I didn’t have the energy that I did pre-birth control and I definitely did not feel like myself. It progressively got worse and my mental health was bad. Everyone’s experience is different. I stopped the birth control a week ago and now I feel more like myself!"

"I (20yr) was on Isibloom for 2 years. It cleared my acne and lightened my periods, but I didn't realize until I got off how depressed I was. I was just always constantly a little sad. Now that I'm off I have forgotten how good life can feel, though my acne has made a horrible comeback."

"I have been on Isibloom for five months now. I currently have zero complaints. For the first month I felt zero side effects. By the second month my cystic acne had cleared. By the third month I started to become nauseous constantly and lost my appetite. By the fourth month the nausea cleared. The reason I originally began taking Isibloom because I had severe period cramps that would send shooting pain down my legs. My cramps have been much better since starting the pill and I haven’t had the shooting pain in 5 months. I’m currently sexually active and baby free."

"I just want to say, my first period on this pill was one of the worst experiences of my life and I wanted to share with others in case they're going through the same thing. It DOES get better, though. I have PMDD and moderate bleeding, my periods would last 3-4 days. The 1st period I had on Isibloom I experienced severe PMDD, cold chills, hot flashes, headaches, I slept for 12 hours a day and did not eat. I was bleeding through tampons every 45 minutes to an hour. The bleeding was so bad that in class I bled through a regular tampon, my underwear, and my jeans in under an hour. I wanted to change to a different birth control immediately but I was told to give it three months. Things DID get better for the second and third period (I take pills continuously). My PMDD is not as bad as it was overall and I don't experience the side effects I did on the first period. My acne DID clear up a lot on this birth control. My flow is light to moderate but my periods are now 5-6 days long."

"JUST GO TO A REAL DOCTOR for birth control. I’ve been on Alvetra (prescribed by my dr) for 3 years. I stopped due to moving out of state so I had to wait on insurance and such . Long story short I needed birth control cause I am active . Found pill club and thought it was a great idea. Taking Isibloom is equivalent to getting sicker and sicker. I’m only on day 5 and I’ve been having heart palpitations, hot and cold sweats, drowsy all the time, Dizziness Nausea Chest tightening And not being able to think clearly like I used to. I’m sitting here thinking I’m wilting away. Pill club needs to be shut down."

"I am now on my second pack of Isibloom. The first week I did have quite a bit of mood swings but the main side effect I had was with my stomach. I’ve been having strange bowel movements where I'm bloated quite a lot with no bowel movement being constipated for a few days then go back to normal then back to no movement. I’ve been on a loop for a month now but it’s slowly not being as bad as it was before. If it does continue, I will be switching my birth control brand. Besides that, it does do the job I’m not pregnant!"

"I started this birth control in late October to prevent pregnancy and to treat mild acne. My only negative symptom is nausea (without vomiting) before bed. My partner does not use condoms and I haven’t gotten pregnant. I LOVE this birth control! Not only did it make my skin clear, my bra size went from a B to a D in just a few months. Everyone’s body reacts to birth control different but I 100% recommended Isibloom!"

"I’ve been on isibloom for 3 months now. I’m in a serious relationship so we thought it’d be a good idea. I didn’t really have that many side effects. The only things that have happened are a little weight gain, moodiness, and, worst of all, the entire time I’ve been on it I’ve had a dark red discharge. i read that it can happen in the first 3-4 months so i’m hoping it goes away soon. I’ve just had to wear panty liners every day!"

"First 2 months I was very sensitive. Not moody, but extremely sensitive. Literally everything made me cry. Now I’m on my 4th month and everythings fine. I love it! I also have endometriosis and I have been struggling witht horrible bloating, cramps and painful sex. All that is now gone. Only thing that it havent done is clearing my face from pimples. But that’s alright as long as my endo is under control."

"I've been on it for about a year. I went from never on birth control before to this one. The first 3 days was full of nausea and migraines but after that it's been fine. No weight gain, no tender breasts or acne, no mood swings, it's mostly fine. I've noticed a decrease in my libido but it was already super high and spontaneous so it's just average now, if you already have a low libido I wouldn't recommend it. My periods are a lot better, less painful but just as heavy. It's ok overall for me."

"I’ve been on this Isibloom for a week (not sure enough to judge but this is what happened so far) I’ve been breaking out ? I never used to get acne like this... might be from stress though. I’ve also had spotting/vaginal discharge. I feel like my boobs have been bigger but they aren’t sore. This is my first birth control so I’m going to stay on it and see what happens, but so far nothing that makes me feel horrible!"

"I have CRAZY PMS. I mean CRAZY. I cry a lot, I'm nauseous (I even vomit some months) get heat flashes, acne, horrible cramps, mood swings, etc. This is why I was not afraid of any birth control side effects because I live with these bad problems regardless. I took birth control (thru the pill club and was prescribed this) because of my symptoms and because I've been sexually active for a few months now. I took it a week before my period and those symptoms seem to have been minimized so far. I have a very high sex drive however the pill makes it a little harder to get turned on. I've had okay sex so far and also very great sex (my advice is use a good amount of lube. It fixes the problem) I've only been on it a week, but so far so good. I will however be back to post a review in a few months to see if my symptoms have changed. So far so good though. (: all bodies are different but if your anything like me I would consider trying thus pill."

"I’ve been on several other brands of birth control, all of which gave me cramps or terrible, terrible mood swings/constant depressive thoughts. I’ve been on Isibloom for about 7 months now & honestly it’s been great. My period is down to 3 days, which are very light. I no longer have to deal with horrible cramping/nausea and my “PMS acne” is basically non-existent now. The only side effects I’ve noticed is a slight weight gain & oddly, I now find the taste/smell of hot coffee absolutely repulsive."

"So I started Isibloom about 4 years ago. I was on the patch for close to 10 years, and I was having horrible mood swings during my period. When I told the doctor what was going on, she prescribed me Isibloom and told me to take all the pills. I was truly amazed. My mood swings were gone, and I didn't really have any side effects. I love this pill. If you are having issues with mood swings, ask about taking all the pills in your pack!"

"I haven’t been on isibloom for very long but so far its the best birth control I’ve ever been on. I don’t get cramps anymore, my periods don’t last as long as they used to, it doesn’t cause nausea and indigestion like my last one did, I'd like to know if it affects my mood bc I haven’t been on my meds so if anything that’s probably why, and best of all it doesn’t cause vaginal dryness or decreased libido like my last birth control did. So I'm pretty pleased with it and hopefully all the positives continue as I continue to use it."

"Been on the pill for just over two weeks and the bloating is terrible. Motivation and drive to do and get things done has steeply dropped. My breasts are always extremely sore. Orgasms now come with pain and I cramp all throughout the day regardless of where I’m at in my cycle. This should be taken off the market. It’s garbage."

"I switched to Isibloom (ethinyl estradiol 0.03mg , desogestrel 0.15mg) when my I ran out of the birth control I got abroad that was called Marvelon. Marvelon was amazing, but they don't sell it here. My gynecologist said Isibloom is the generic of Marvelon though she was hesitant to prescribe it because it came with an unusually high risk of blood clots. I've had very, negative experience with most types of birth control (Nuva ring, Yaz, IUD). While the Isibloom one isn't the worst, I still have severe mood swings, lots of gross cystic acne (which I never had) and am exhausted all of the time. My breasts also fluctuate about one cup size each month. Symptoms seem to get particularly bad during the last week of taking it. I heard it's are supposed to ease up after three cycles. But I'm close to the end of my third cycle and if anything it's just more intense. Now, I'm always angry and covered in zits. I'm 29. I definitely wouldn't recommend it. But I also don't think they make an alternative in the US that isn't a nightmare. I'm giving it one more month."

"I was switched from Cyred to Isibloom and TBH I hate it. I’ve been having really intense mood swings/depression. I feel like a different person. I have no motivation to do anything, and have had a noticeable loss of interest in my hobbies and even just going out to see friends. Also have been experiencing fatigue. I’m soooo tired all the time. I’ve been having to take 2-5 hour naps in the middle of the day."

"This pill got changed on me without notice. I started taking it with no questions asked BUT, its making me not interested in sex with or kissing my husband and both of us are upset about it. I'm gonna be changing to a different pill because this one is not for me."

"I have been on Isibloom for 6 months and that has been my only use for preventing pregnancy and has worked great for that. The first 3 month was my body getting use to the pill. I was feeling nauseous and my mood swings were all over the place. I was worried it wasn’t going to change. Now at 6 months I feel normal. That second week I still get emotional, not depression but every little thing will make me cry like “I love my boyfriend too much” or “awwww that’s so cute” kind of cry’s. Other than that it works great."
