For Strep Throat "I was diagnosed with strep, nasal infection, and a ear infection about 5 days ago. I took cefdinir as directed for 5 days and saw little to no results. Some side affects for me that were not listed were my stool smelling of the dissolved pill and also my urine."

"Great drug, one dose, and your UTI is pretty much gone but so is all the other bacteria you NEED. This medication made me so violently ill. Vomiting, watery diarrhea, and stomach cramping. Had to pull over while driving to vomit (never had to do that before in my life not even when I was pregnant). Thankfully it has a short duration of activity in the body so by the next day I was ok. But this went straight into the garbage can after that."

For Otitis Media "My 2 year old has been on this medication for 4 days and yesterday started having severe diarrhea. Her little bottom is raw from it. I have immediately called her doctor to have this medicine changed. Apparently she cannot tolerate it."

For Strep Throat "Bad antibiotic ... never worked neither for me nor for my kids ... try anything else... 2 days ago I went to hospital with acute throat infection they passed an antibiotic into my bloodstream using a cannula , I went home feeling much better but since they put me on omnicif after wasting too much time taking 2 tablets it came back . Now I am feeling very painful in my throat again."

For Sinusitis "This medicine made me feel worse than the original symptoms. I usually have a high tolerance for meds, don’t usually get dizzy or feel nauseous ever. But this medicine made me feel as I was suffering from being hung over. I would drive 8 hours later after taking the meds and would feel like I could black out whenever. I would randomly feel nauseous. The headaches were a constant theme. Now that I’ve read the comments I can attribute some of the diarrhea I had to it to. I went back to the dr and was prescribed Doxycycline so I’m on day 4 and I feel better but still suffer from a cough."
