Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I have had a chronic problem with hyperhydrosis. I am active duty in the navy and I can say this has been challenging at work. I have spent hundreds of dollars on Otc brands deodorant and antiperspirant, laundry detergent, dry cleaning all my uniforms after wearing them once and worse of all having that feeling that people are always looking at my sweat or me just being afraid to raise my arms. I have literally been using this for one week and it stops wetness in its tracks. Shoot, even the water in the shower avoids it like a force field. For me it burns like hell but it's like a good workout. I see it as - at least I know it's working. Worth every burn."

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I can't remember a time when I DIDN'T sweat! That all changed a month ago. I bought Drysol and also the mild Drysol for my face. I was unsure about it at first, because when I put it on, the tingling was very intense. The first day I only left it on for four hours and then washed it off because I couldn't take the tingling. The second night, I went all night...the tingling was less. I only did those two nights and I didn't sweat for almost a week. I use it under my arms and the mild Drysol on my face. I do not recommend it to anyone with really sensitive skin, but I DO recommend it to anyone who is desperate for a solution to their problem with hyperhidrosis."

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I'm am a 18 year old girl whose been sweating since the 6th grade. Its Soo embarrassing that I used to wear mostly black so no one would see the pit stains. Drysol works really great. The only downside I would say is that if I use it everyday or after I shave, it has the worst burning/itching sensation."

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I am someone who sweats anytime under my arms, it could be for any reason and I would filter my life around it. Loose shirts, dark colors, and I would rarely ever raise my arms for the fear that I would show my stains of sweat. Talked to my dermatologist and they offered my Drysol and I absolutely loved that I could wear anything and I wouldn't sweat, but it does have its downside to it. I am a girl and shaving under my arms irritates the crap out of it and burns, I tried to use nair instead of shaving and it burns even more. I honestly do not know what to do."

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I am not one to write reviews regurlarly, but I have to share my experience. Like most here I suffer from hyperhidrosis and well have struggle all my life buying just certain colors and fabrics because of all the armpit sweat. Okay I got Drysol just used for first time last night. After application I dried with hairdryer till it was white(dry). Yes it burns some and it itched like crazy. I shaved so that might have something to do with itch. I concentrated on watching tv till I went to sleep. My God today I was not sweating at work. Not a drop of sweat on my underarms! I am in shock. I highly recommend. Is a life changer. I will be going shopping soon!"

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "After reading some other misleading reviews, I wanted to write my own. I have dealt with hyperhydrosis my entire life, and it's such a confidence killer. I could never dress nicely in high school because I'd always hear whispers about my underarm sweat stains. I tried certaindry and it worked for about 2 months then stopped. I was crushed. I finally was prescribed drysol, but I wasn't convinced that it would work. I've been using it for about a year now and I'm so shocked that it still works! I noticed that if you wash your underarms thouroughly, and dry them thouroughly the itch isn't as bad as if you were to just apply at the end of the day. The only time it's ever burned is if I over use it, or use it the same day as shaving. Worth a try"

Xerac AC (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I struggled with extreme facial sweating for years and when I say extreme, I mean it! I used to carry a kleenex or paper towels or even real towels on my purse to dry my face. I couldn't apply any product because I sweated like there was no tomorrow. I do not live in a warm place (Montreal), but even extreme cold temperatures did not change anything. As soon as it was a little warm (like climb in a bus after a 5 min walk by -20C) I sweated and I was soaked... Well, I have been using Xerac and the day after the first application, it was LITERALLY a miracle, I went out and I walked more than 2 miles by 26C and there was a very light amount of sweat around my nose, and that was it!! I recommend this product! It changed my life!!!!!!"

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I have to say that Drysol is a life saver. All of a sudden about 4 years ago I started sweating to the point where it was embarrassing to go out in public for fear that people would see pit stains. I went to my dermatologist and he recommended this product I started using it maybe a week ago and within the first two uses I was sweat free! When I go to work out, I will be dripping wet everywhere but underarms are completely dry! Drysol is a life saver. I highly recommend."

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "i have suffered from excessive sweating for going on 3 years now. i could never wear cute shirts because i would ALWAYS sweat terribly through whatever i was wearing. i had to stick to hoodies and dark colors. which was not me at all. i had to beg my mom to take me to the dermatologist, but when she did, the doctor diagnosed me with hyperhidrosis. he then got me started on this medicine. i thought it was crazy to apply something under my arms every night, but after the first application, i realized i could wear whatever shirt i want to and not have to worry about sweating! i am using the 20% aluminum chloride (hexahydrate), and it does have a slight burn to it, but nothing intolerable. i suggest this product!!"

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I’ve been using drysol for a few months now, just like most of you guys here I had super bad armpit sweating. So so bad. I could only wear dark shirts and hoodies because the sweat would show thru both even in the winter. I had to throw shirts away from the sweat ruining the shirts. I first tried the lesser intense over the counter remedy certaindri worked like a charm. That product is definitely good. Doesn’t make your pits itch after you’re done. But I asked my doctor what to do and first thing he recommends is Botox and get the surgical way but he said that you’d have to go back every so often to get it redone. But then he said drysol worked and I gave it a try and I love it. It does itch unfortunately but if you can resist the urge. You’ll love the product That is my only complaint. But I would recommend drysol for anyone gonna thru thus same issue especially in high school."

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I have had hyperhidrosis for about 4 years now and could never find something that worked. I tried every no prescription medication I could find. After hearing about Drysol, I figured it was my last chance, which it was. I gave it a shot the first night and did all the helpful tricks, I didn’t use to much, I hadn’t shaved, and my underarms were clean and dry. I put it on and IMMEDIATELY started screaming and crying in absolutely EXCRUCIATING pain. I had to have someone help me wash it off before it had even been 5 minutes with it on. I thought that would help but even after I washed it off and took anti inflammatory stuff, still felt every ounce of pain. Keep in mind I do have extremely sensitive skin and that might be the problem"

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I have experienced excessive underarm sweating since my teens and have been so annoyed and embarrassed. Why didn't I check into this sooner?? This product is amazing! I agree with other reviewers about the burning/tingling sensation. When I first started using it about a month ago, I followed the directions and used it for three consecutive nights. It burned, I won't lie. It kept me from getting a full night's sleep. BUT, the results were worth it! After just one application, it worked! The next day there was NO wetness. I now apply it just once a week, and it is still effective for me. Plus, the burning sensation has never occurred again. I do find it necessary to apply deodorant (not antiperspirant) in the morning."

Hypercare (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I suffered from EXTREME hyperhidrosis for eleven years since the age of thirteen. I used to wear several layers of clothing including paper towels under my arms to try to disguise the problem, but to no avail. I would sweat through several layers of clothing. Greatly to my surprise, after just two weeks of using Hypercare MY SWEATING CEASED. Because the active ingredient in it is an alcohol solution you can apply as many layers as you need without a nasty buildup of gunk that come with regular solid and gel antiperspirants. I really thought I was going to need botox or surgery, but ended up trying this product at the urging of my dermatologist. SO HAPPY."

Certain Dri (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I’m sure a lot of you guys are like me dealing with excessive sweating all around your body even in cool temperatures. This was something that lowered my self esteem and confidence greatly. Needless to say I was looking for anything that can help and certain Dri did. Of course sometimes I still get a bit sweaty but 98% of the time I’m completely dry and don’t have to worry about pit stains. I put it on before bed as instructed and remain dry all day. I’m really so grateful I found this. Get it!"

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I've had severe underarm sweating since puberty. It was so embarrassing and got worse with time. I used drysol for the first time yesterday after realizing I truly needed a prescription antiperspirant and WOW! I couldn't be happier. The FIRST DAY I wore a shirt in my most feared color (gray) and had NO sweat all day. I couldn't believe how well it worked! I admit to discomfort upon application but it goes away shortly and is well, well worth it. I'll be a lifetime user. Incredible."

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I have had excessive underarm sweat ever since I was 14. I tried Drysol when I was in High School but didnt follow the directions properly, being young a dumb I just thought it didn't work. Years have gone by and I have tried everything from underarm pads, to every antiperspirant under the sun. When I seriously thought about getting botox, I thought I would try Drysol ONE more time. I followed the directions to a T and after one night of use I didn't even have a drop of sweat the next day. I'm so impressed and wish I had tried it again a lot sooner. I recommend this to ANYONE who suffers from hyperhidrosis, it is a life changer. I was getting anxiety, not wanting to work in fear of someone seeing my sweat. I have never been so happy."

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "Used to sweat constantly through my pits, applying drysol at night before bed and about 95% of the sweat is stopped. Only reason it's not a 10 is because for some the extreme itching can be a problem, but for me the itching was mild and not so bad that I couldn't tolerate it. Itching went away about 15-20 mins after it dried. Also a tip, use a blow dryer with low heat on your pits to dry it faster because this stuff takes ages to dry by itself."

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "PLEASE READ: Are you afraid of shaking people's hands? Do pencils slip from your grip? Have sweaty hands during the dead of Winter? Afraid of handling loose change? Do you WANT a change? LOOK NO FURTHER THAN DRYSOL! I've had all the above problems and MORE for so many years; I've been embarrassed and socially anxious because of hyperhydrosis. Finally I went to the pharmacy and the pharmacist recommend Drysol. I had never heard of it before, but what more could I lose? My actual hands? I tried it every night for 4 days now, and it keeps getting better and better. We went to Church today (Christmas) and during the peace offering my hands were completely DRY! I owe my life to this product. God bless them. I recommend it to everyone!!!!!!!!"

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I’ve had Hyperhidrosis for the past 6-7 years. I used to drysol about 2-3 years ago and although the first two weeks was filled with itchyness and red skin, I can say that Drysol has changed my life. I was actually able to wear a grey. Yes GREY. Shirt to school with so much confidence. Now, I’m back to some pit stains and just got another refil about 2 week ago and it has stopped. After a while the iching goes away. This product has alcohol & aluminum chloride. It’s not meant for super sensitive skin. But most reviews I’ve seen, it’s been the same for me. From my experience drysol works."

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I'm a university student, who suffers from hyperhydrosis. I've had it for a few years, ever since puberty hit. It's always embarressing having sweat stains, always feels like someone is staring. I always keep my arms down once I noticed they are there. Will never even raise my hand in class or reach the top of my locker so I dont raise my arms. No other antiperspirant worked and I'm too young for botox. Certain dry didnt work either. I tried this, went from doing it every other night to once or twice a week. Was itchy at first but now nothing. But I was so happy I could not be embarrassed anymore. I could wear whatever I wanted and buy whatever. Though, I did notice some BO come back, so I used some natural deodorant along with it. Changed my life"

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "On July 4th. weekend I recommended Drysol to a very close friend. At first he was extremely skeptical about using the product. Because he had tried everything under the sun, he felt it would just be a waste of time. But after one application he was blown away by Drysol. His scalp was as dry as baby powder. For the first time in about twenty years he doesn't have to carry those darn face cloths around, and doesn't have to feel the utter humiliation that hyperhydrosis has plagued him with in the past. I am so thrilled for him! Since using the product he literally hasn't stopped smiling. I rate the product 10 out of 10."

Certain Dri (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "I don’t sweat excessively, but have bad armpit odor. I have excellent hygiene but the bad odor has always plagued me. I use Certain Dry and it is powerful. The first time I tried it, I tried to wash it off it burned so bad, even with just a tiny amount. I kept using it and have been for a year now. I have to put on more than recommended about once a week (about 7 swipes worth, covering my entire armpit area) and then the other times I just use 2-3 swipes. When I use it heavily it makes my armpits pretty sore, even the next day. This stuff burns my armpits bad when I apply it, making it hard to fall asleep sometimes. It also makes them itch like crazy, but to me it’s worth it. I used to use it every other night but had to bump back up to every night; once it makes my armpits burn really bad to where I can’t stand to do it another night in a row, I go back down to every other night. I do not wear deodorant with this, I only use this product."

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "When I was in middle school I started experiencing hyperhydrosis of the underarms. I don't remember how I first came across Drysol, but it made such a huge difference in my life! I could wear ANY SHIRT I wanted! It definitely caused some itching/stinging of the underarm area if I applied it within 24 hours of shaving, so follow the directions. The day after the first use, my underarms were 100% sweat free. I used it for three consecutive nights, and after that I only needed to re-apply once a week, and eventually once a month, and so on. Today, I haven't used it in at least 8 years but I still don't have any underarm sweat. It basically deleted my axillary sweat glands. Hallelujah."

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "This stuff has been a complete lifesaver for me. I have severe craniofacial hyperhidrosis, and it's absolute hell going to work and having to hide my face every time I have a sweating episode. I have to step out several times just to splash water on my face or run cold water over my wrists. Drysol is a game-changer and is the only thing that's worked for me. It only took about 3 days of application to fully work."

Xerac AC (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis "My sweating is confined to my head and face. I must be the only one because the posts I've read is under arms, feet and hands. So I went to my dermatologist. I wanted Hypercare but he opted for the slightly weaker medication Xerac to start. It really stung my forehead the first time, I left it on for three hours and had to wipe it off my face. Scalp was okay. Next day head sweat cut by 75 % I'd say. So last night it did not sting at all on my face. Left it on all night. Will see how I do today."
