For Back Pain "I have had Fibromyalgia and RA as well as depression anxiety, low vit D levels, migraines, and chronic fatigue syndrome. My doctor asked if I wanted 10/325 Norco or 5 mg Percocet. The Norco worked better and was less sedating and itchy. I know from the dentist I need 10-20mg Percocet. Norco keeps me awake, functioning ( out of bed, I’m disabled ) but let’s me get up and move around also less addictive. I also take Cymbalta, Topimax, xanax, lunesta, adderall, Norco, Soma, etc."

For Pain "When they switched me to Norco I had to deal with more pain. The medication is half as effective and makes me sick to my stomach many times. GOV'T doesn't care about the people with real pain more concerned with the drug addicts (which more people are becoming because they can't get the pain relief they need.)"

For Back Pain "Two major lower back surgeries, was in major pain ! A Doctor told me about NORCO and I tried NORCO with great success for 10 years. I realize that is a long time to take this! I now have pain management special Doctor and have tried other products to stop the pain. I have always came back to the NORCO 10-325 because it did the job for me. NORCO 10-325 gave me my life back. My pain is under control with this product. "

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "So I thought I would give everyone an update on what I found out. I called several pharmacies and most of them only carried the Mallinckrodt Norco. One pharmacist told me that is what they send him, making it seem like the insurance companies or someone else is controlling the market. As I said previously I was taking Watson brand (yellow football) and they worked very well and I never built a resistance to them. I called Walmart and they alternated between the Mallinckrodt and Cambridge. They currently had Cambridge in stock so I filled my prescription there. Of course they acted like I was a junkie but they filled them and I am happy to report they are working much like the Watson did. I actually cut back a pill a day and am taking 3 times a day and have much better pain relieve and motivation to work. You might give them a try and see if they are good for you"

For Back Pain "I’ve been taking Norco for about two years. It’s really the only thing that helps my pain. I usually get my script filled at CVS and, lately, I’ve noticed the generic they use is pretty worthless. Takes sometimes double the pills to get just a little pain relief. Recently switched to the M367 generic (Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals) at Walgreens and, wow, what a difference. One pill lasts me almost an entire work day whereas the other generic was requiring two to three just to get partial relief. Never really thought there was much difference in generics but I guess there is!"

For Pain "This medication is prescribed 10/350mg up to 4 times per day - or as needed. I normally take it 3 times per day. It is the only medication that has not caused stomach bleeding problems as aspirin did; has not caused liver damage as Tylenol did; and has not caused kidney necrosis/nephritis as Advil did."

For Back Pain "For those saying Watson no longer makes their generic norco...... your wrong. Just picked it up for a disabled friend yesterday and it’s Watson. Don’t know why you’d want it tho. Every time I’ve ever taken Watson norco within twenty minutes I’m vomiting."

For Back Pain "I have Fibro, Spinal Stenosis (severe) and Neuropathy, and occasional migraine headaches. I've been taking the Norco 7.5/325 for five years and it works, along with my 90mg of Cymbalta and 10mg Valium x2 a day. I haven't had to ask for an increase in my meds ever. The pain is always there but manageable. I can grocery shop and do light housework daily. I can drive myself with no danger. I have taken myself off the Norco quite a few times. I might go five to seven days without it just to see if I'm addicted. I hurt a lot but even though I have a full bottle in the bathroom I'm able to resist taking them and not get sick."

For Pain "This medicine has allowed me to function. I haven been taking it for 3 years because I have adverse reactions to ASA and all NSAIDS. Chronic pain from rheumatoid/osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, cervical and lumbar injuries from auto accident. I see a pain management physician for steroid injections when I need to and use Norco. I may still have days where some tasks are a no go; some time limitations doing chores also. I adhere to the dosing schedules although the bedtime dose I cut in half for better sleep. This medication in combination with Cymbalta and an occasional Flexeril allows me to do much more during the course of a day. I am very happy about the low dose acetaminophen. I get regular blood studies."

For Pain "I am a 53-year-old female who has undergone multiple surgeries on both knees and back twice a year, including knee replacements, steroid injections, cortisone injections, and nerve cauterization. I have been taking 10/325 for 7 years and only receive my prescriptions through a hospital or one Walgreens location because other Walgreens carry hydrocodone with a different formulation. Initially, I only had to take half or 1 pill a day at night, but now I have to take it every 6 or 7 hours due to severe sciatica, RLS, and nerve damage from all the surgeries. It's strange that some of my pills work fine and help relieve my pain, but others in the same bottle make me feel like I took three pills and leave me feeling sick and scared like I am overdosing. I have tried taking OTC naproxen for my back and muscle pain, and it helps to some extent. However, I would appreciate it if Norco was consistent across all Walgreens because they look and make me feel different, even having different numbers on them. I did some research and found out that they don't make them anymore, so the pharmacy might be giving out old meds."

For Pain "This combination of Hydrocodone/acetaminophen is the best at relieving pain. I have tried Vicodin, Lortab, Lorcet, Vocoprofen, Vicodin HP and just about every different combination and Norco works the best by far. It relieves my pain in all parts of my body, and is also great for headaches, terrible back pain and abdominal cramping. This drug is much less addicting and has less episodes of nausea/vomiting."

For Back Pain "I have tons of back issues degenerative disk disease, arthritis, bulging disks, scoliosis and who knows what else as my low back has been killing me so I went to the ER and they of course said I’ll give you muscle relaxers and I laughed and said I know for a fact this isn’t muscle related and in the past had Norco for broken bones and when my back gave me severe pain, Thing is I’m on Xanax which I let them know and I just space the two at least 2 hours apart up to 6 hours apart even breaking the 5mg Norco apart. Today I’m reading about being careful if your on Xanax which I take a low dose of .5mg even break them in half to maybe 3/4 of a pill and take it. I’ve never had a problem with either pill, abusers ruin it for us that need these."

For Back Pain "I have herniated disc, osteoarthritis, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, bone spurs, and more...I have been taking Norco 10/325 for 3 months now and have surgery coming up in June...spinal fusion and laminectomy of lumbar L4 L5. Without this medication I would not be able to get out of bed most of my days and am very thankful to have somewhat of a quality of life. I only take the entire 10 occasionally and break them in half to manage my pain. I do occasionally get light headed and nauseated but I have found that I can avoid this by eating small meals throughout the day and drinking lots of water."

For Pain "Over the past 7 yrs. I've been on every painkiller known to man. Currently what works for me is Fentanyl 25mg patches and Norco 10/325mg for breakthrough pain. Disabled due to severe back(lower) pain, both hips broke, right knee with osteoarthritis and my right Achilles tendon was torn up by a dog. My combo allows me to function somewhat for up to about 4 hrs before pain level starts rising and I have to stop cause sometimes the pain gets so bad that the meds don't work. Fentanyl is not for everyone but I would suggest to anyone dealing with severe chronic pain to try it.A patch last 3 days and I have no side effects from it. No constipation either. I thank my lucky stars that my doc found this combo. I still have bad days but very few."

For Pain "I am only 18 years old. I have had two major hip surgeries that have been unsuccessful due to an underdeveloped right hip joint. My pain is awful. I am fine for 3 to 5 days without pain and on those days I don't take any pain killers. But on the days that my hip hurts I can't even walk on it and I need to use crutches to just get around. I am 18 and the doctor told me that this cycle may continue for years to come. He has prescribed 10-325mg norco for the pain plus 800mg of ibuprofen. The combination works very well. The larger dose of ibuprofen greatly reduces inflamation in area of pain so that the norco can relieve the pain. I highly recommend this combo for any one with sharp shooting pain coming from your back or hip and running down."

For Pain "I would give this (Norco) an 11 if I could. I had a labiaplasty and all they prescribed me was 800mg ibuprofen and Tylenol 3. Neither one worked very well. I happened to have some Norco left over from a work related injury (back/neck/shoulders) and the nurse I spoke to said it wouldn't work very well for this sort of pain. Well, sorry to say, she was wrong. I feel pain free and relaxed for the first time since my surgery. I think I will actually get some sleep tonight. The pain was a level 10 (imagine getting your genitals caught in a bear trap... that's what it felt like--constantly)... right now it's at probably a 1 with only minor discomfort. Check with your doctor before using it and never mix with other medicines!"

For Back Pain "I have had work related back and neck pain. I have had surgeries before and generic vicodin worked great. I haven't had any luck with Lupin generic norco. I have half a bottle left and won't take anymore because it doesn't work. I worked in the pharmaceutical manufacturing for decades and have learned that 80 percent or more of all generics are now made overseas. FDA rarely inspects plants and have no legal jurisdiction there. If you want to know more about the quality of your prescriptions, check the book Bottles of Lies or look online for one or more of her interviews."

For Back Pain "I had suffered Degenerative Disc Disease with two bulging discs at L4 and L5 with Annular Tear and Spinal Stenosis since May 2006. No injury or accident. Right side leg went completely numb on me and sent me to the ER; Within a week I had an awesome Dr helping me with this med, Flexeril and Naprosyn. As well as Physical Therapy and Chiropractic Care. I became pain free in November 2006. Then I got pregnant and in December 2010 the pain was so severe that I had to go on Norco & do Physical Therapy again for two months. Needless I went into Pain Mgmnt with an Awesome Dr and of course tried and failed Morphine, Fentanyl, Oxycontin with OxyIR, Neurontin, and this was always reverted back to Norco. Had Spinal Fusion and Norco was what worked."

For Pain "I have been taking Norco for a jaw dislocation injury for about 3 months. After a while, I had to increase the amount per day, so my doctor wanted to give me oxycontin for evening. I did not like the Oxycontin and felt that the Norco better took away the pain. The Oxycontin just made me feel like I was hallucinating. The Norco works best for pain relief. "

For Back Pain "I'm a former parole officer who suffered a back injury from a parolee assaulting and escaping from jail back in 1989. I had tried everything for relief of severe back flare-ups that occur and the resulting pain I have in my back, legs and neck frequently. Norco was prescribed by my doctor about 3 years ago and I cannot believe the results from this medication. I am very happy that this medication has allowed me to carry on a normal life again."

For Pain "I have Fibromyalgia, I have tried standard treatments for this condition and nothing has worked except Norco 10 -325 twice a day and Tramadol 100 mg two times a day.I have been on this same does now for 4 years and it does the job. The only side effect that I notice is with night time leg cramps I have tried to see what caused the Leg Cramping and I am determined it to be the Norco. When I stopped taking it the leg cramps went away. I adjusted the time I take Norco and no longer take it after 5 in the evening and it seems to help. I alternate the Tramadol, take my dose in the morning about 6am when I wake up and take Norco at around 10am and 5pm and then Tramadol about 9pm and it works perfect and seems to control my pain."
