Works well if you want it to work! You must still have the will to stay sober! Drank once since starting the medicines. All my fault set myself up for it.

Drank for thirty years, lost everything, struggled with benders for past 2 years after rehab, no hope. 3 months post Campral. 333mg per day. The only time I think about taking a drink is when I am thinking that I am not thinking of taking a drink. Truly feel it has had an anti-depressant effect for me. Sleep great and the only side effect is an occassional dizziness. Tell everyone you know struggling.

I drank for over 30 years until my psychiatrist recommended Campral. What a God send. I lost my desire for alcohol within a few months but remained on the drug for over a year. I decided on my own to stop the drug and have not drunk any alcohol for well over three years. In my view, this is an amazing drug, and of course, I am grateful beyond words for it.

It works. My sister drank heavily for years. She went through detox and was placed on Campral and has not had a drink in over a year. I thank God everyday for this medication. It saved her life.

I used Campral a couple of years ago and it worked great, although it did give me terrible gas. I stopped taking it and have relapsed and I am getting back on it. It really worked. Thank God for the help.

I've been taking Campral for a few weeks, and am amazed at the difference in my cravings. I've been a daily drinker for 6-7 years. I've been to inpatient rehab, outpatient, countless AA meetings and counseling. This has been a miracle of sorts. I'm only a few weeks in, but I'm not white knuckling it this time. I just don't want to drink because my brain is no longer screaming for one.

I had been an alcoholic for over 12 years. I tried AA, counseling, therapy, quitting by myself. Thank God, my doctor decided to try me with Campral after going to the hospital several times and detox. Since Campral, I have not had a drop of alcohol for almost a year. May 24, 2009 will be my anniversary. I haven't had a craving, and haven't had an interest to have a drink. My question is why don't we hear about this wonderful drug. I had almost given up until I started taking Campral.

I have not had a drink since January 12, 2009. I am in AA and just received my 90 day sobriety chip. I was a very heavy drinker for the majority of my adult life and had very little faith that I could kick the habit. I spent 31 days in rehab and began taking Campral once I was discharged. I have NO desire to drink and I'm happier and feel better than I have in 20 years. Praise God. I recommend it to anyone who has the desire to quit drinking.

This has saved my life. I felt like I was starting to get out of control with my drinking, going through life week to week. Then I realized it could be different. This is awesome. I can't believe how well it works and neither can my husband. I'm great now. First thing I always did when I got home from work, was pour a vodka tonic, now... nothing. I have a new lease on life after work. I can drive after dinner.

This is a miracle drug for me. I was a daily drinker, at least a pint a day, usually more. I couldn't go more than 3 days without a drink and I was craving and miserable the whole time. I started Campral 2 weeks ago and haven't had a drink since. I have absolutely no desire to drink. I'm astounded. Campral could put rehab centers out of business, haha (joking). This stuff is AWESOME! I also see a psychologist every 2 weeks, and a psychiatrist once a month, so I'm getting therapy along with Campral, which is what they recommend.

Thank God for this medication. Campral really does work and I feel like I have my life back. For me it has completely taken away the urge to drink, which is really saying something for a guy that drank every day for as long as I can remember. It still takes will power and a commitment to quit but Campral is the help I deperately needed. If you have a problem please see your doctor and ask him or her about this.

I have not been able to stop drinking for more then three days at most in the last three years, but since taking Campral two months ago I have not had a drop.

So far so good, I was very skeptical and put off asking for it, but my family was at the end of their rope with me. I began taking it about 1 month ago and I feel great, no urges to drink. I slipped once but I delibrately drink even though I really didn't need to, nothing changes, I felt like crap, haven't had a drink since and I plan on keeping it that way. Campral works- I'm not sure how or why- but I don't care. It really does work. Thank God

Once I decided to really try to quit drinking, I believe the Campral was a big help as my cravings decreased quickly. I had trouble taking 3 times a day because I would forget the mid day dosage so I take 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening.
